Fair pricing and honest car shop! I took my vehicle for a check engine light and they quickly diagnosed it and repaired it for a reasonable amount. The staff is really friendly and transparent with the work they are proposing. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a repair shop.

It’s always difficult to leave a great review for an auto shop as you usually go in with a problem you’re not looking forward to fixing, but I’ve been going to Super 5 for 3 months now. They’ve been assisting me in prioritizing what I need to fix with my mustang little by little and offering me financial assistance through SNAP. Everyone from the owner, to the mechanics, to the front desk lady are very attentive and always take their time to get to the root of the problem, make sure I understand what the problem is, and the best way to go about fixing it. I’m very happy with the service I have received here and I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially women who have very little understanding of mechanical work, like myself, and are looking for an honest professional place.

First let me start off by saying, I always hesitate to leave a negative review knowing the damage it can do, but when it’s warranted then I have no choice. Secondly, this place came highly recommended which makes it even more disappointing. We took in a vehicle for an engine issue. We were told it was more than likely only something with a spark plug and we were looking at a $75 charge. We left it and received a call that the engine needed to be replaced and that a used one would cost $5500 or over $8000 for an overhaul. Price gouging at its finest. Mind you, the pricing is more than what the vehicle is even worth. We opted not to do this job and found it literally over $2k less with other shops. We went back to pick up the vehicle and to our surprise and major disappointment were now being charged $262.50 for the diagnosis, with no work being performed for repair and their justification being because they had to run tests, which were not approved by us at any stage or them evening telling us it would be charged separately. They didn’t offer a solution to this even when we voiced our displeasure they didn’t try to be fair. They basically said pay it or you don’t get your keys. Keep this in mind when choosing this shop. Shady and deceptive practices, price gouging and no attempt to rectify a solution. They billed it $125 an hour for 2.1 hours even though the call came after only one hour after drop off. Oh but they did “feel bad” and said they would do an oil change for free on another vehicle. I wouldn’t trust them to even change a spark plug after this experience. Will also be taking this a step further with the BBB of El Paso. We as customers do have various tools at our disposal when businesses attempt to unrightfully take advantage of a customer.

The owner is a crook. Simple as that. This man will take advantage of you if he thinks you know nothing about cars. He made the mistake of thinking id be his next gullible victim well he was damn wrong! He will change his prices after the work is done raising it from the original price he said before the work. I hope this message finds you well and before the reply back from the shop says “you must have the wrong location” trust me I do not.

I've taken my vehicle to to this shop for an a/c issue twice and it still not fixed. Every summer I have to deal with this inconvenience. Poor service!!!

Got charged 169.99 for a rear tire sensor, 2 nails removed from same tire and a “diagnostic” to tell me the radiator is leaking which is preventing the ac from working. Didn’t have the courtesy to even check the other 3 tires as they were told to do. Low air warning is still on and all tires need air! The “owner” tried playing the I don’t speak English card when confronted about why the bill was so high. He spoke perfect English when he quoted me 774.99!!! to replace the radiator before all this happened on a 2008 car. We proceeded to speak Spanish but still decided to play dumb and just keep saying “labor”. I don’t recommend anybody even stopping here for something so simple. It took 4hrs!!!! For the 1 tire sensor and 2 nails with the fake diagnostic. Beyond disappointed with this place.

This review is long overdue. I have been going to Super 5 for years. They are an outstanding Auto Service Center with Excellent Customer Service. Females and the elderly are never taken advantage of and they always guarantee their work. Once I took my vehicle to the dealer and their estimate for Service was extremely expensive. Took the estimate to Mr Torres at Super 5 and the cost was less than half. For "Quality, Honesty and Service at a Fair Price" look no further than Super 5 Auto.

I was referred here by Masterlube to fix my AC. A 1 day repair turned into 8. The man running the shop has no clue how to work with vehicle insurance. The shop manager was aggressive the entire time. He was reviewed previously as being aggressive with females and that was ignored by the customer service POC stating "thats not somethingthey do there".. He refused to release my vehicle after the insurance approved the repair and the final order was received. This place is a perfect example on why you should just pay more money at the dealership. Don't used this business. He is the shop manager and expects his mechanics to process the insurance claims because he is incompetent. He leaves out of town and has no one handling day to day operations. Not worth the headache. He began knocking over items on his desk to try to intimidate me. When i asked him to call my insurance company, all of a sudden his English wasn't so good. If you are female and you want to use this place, take a male with you, maybe this man will behave like an adult. Reporting this to the BBB.

If you a woman don't go there please they change one tire on my audi for $234 I used to go there for both of my cars they over charge me for everything also my sensor light stay on when I bring the car back they damaged my back up camera by fixing the sensor.

Save your money. These people are crooks. I took my car running for a simple radiator swap. Had to leave in a tow truck. And they tried to return the car with the spark plug covers off and the bolts missing. I had taken my cars to them for years but then they got pretty money hungry. It's a shame.

We have been taking our vehicles to Super 5 for a few years now. They have worked on all of our cars, repairing anything from a water pump to a transmission. In every case, they have evaluated the needed repairs, given us an estimate, and on at least a couple of occasions, worked with us to find ways to reduce the cost of the repairs. They have warrantied their work, and have never charged us for evaluating and providing an estimate. I would and HAVE recommended them to others who need work on their vehicles.
