ZERO STARS Echoing the many, many other reviews, these people are absolutely no good. They saw me as a mark and took advantage of me, upselling me out the wazoo. They were "nice" but it was all an act. They will pressure you and tell you that you need things you don't. And to top it off, they didn't even replace the things they said they would! Case and point: they said they'd replace my tie rod ends, but really they just scrapped the rust off of them make them LOOK new. Hilarious. I'm not making this up, I found this out after I took it to another shop to double check Purrfect's work. The other shop told me that the tie rods were busted and I should replace them ASAP. I eventually replaced them myself because I usually fix my cars myself but my tools were in another state. And yes, they were busted. There were holes in the rubber boots, with grease spewing out of them. They're not even that hard to replace, it took me 30 minutes...so, like WTF, why would you even go to all that effort of washing the rust off??? That's work. Not only that, there's now some mysterious leak. Once I was locked in, I realized my mistake in choosing them and I had to play it real cool because they essentially had my car captive and I didn't want to inflame the situation. Maybe I'm the idiot for not throughly looking this place up (I was driving around, went to 3 shops who couldn't help me until I found this one), but that's no argument for what they do and don't do to people's cars. I have to hand it to them, they're good at what they "do" and don't do. It would almost be funny if not for the fact that they are potentially endangering people and stealing other poor people's hard earned money. I have been afraid to bring my car back to them after these revelations. If they are capable of this type of shop-wide conspiracy, they likely weren't going to give me my money back without some drama. I had to cut my losses. So it goes when you're scammed and you have little to no recourse. Like... for real, what is going on in this shop? It's hard to say. During and after the experience (especially after finding the things they didn't replace) I have found myself imagining them just hitting peoples cars incessantly with hammers, taking things apart, placing them all over the shop and then putting them "back"--maybe that's how my mysterious leak came about? I don't know, it's probably not that dramatic. It's probably them just standing there, not actually doing anything, putting your rusty parts in a rust remover bath or at most tightening that one nut that is the real (and only) problem and then passing the time doing something else; hopefully something good, like writing love letters or making good food for their coworkers, because, yea, work sucks. I love slacking off, so I kinda get it. But at least have the decency to actually fix my car. I don't know how they still exist as a business. They've been sued at least once for fake repairs, but ownership has "changed" hands since, it seems. You can believe this review or not, but be warned. Also I just moved here, so if anyone knows a reputable mechanic, help me out please!

BEWARE!!! I went here in March 2024 had oil change & transmission flush every 30k they said. Went there Dec 2024 wanted me to get the same thing done again over 600.00 that was half off! I asked for my tires to get air not done. It seems since I did pay for what they wanted they treated my car like crap.

I was treated well by Carmella when coming in for my oil change. Very educated staff and helps teach you what is really causing your car to run differently. The oil change helps the car right away run better. Great prices and fast honest service I highly recommend.

I've been coming here for years and have been attended to fast and polite. Today there team went up and beyond to help me with a lot of issues my car has. Luis was the person that spoke to me about the issues and described everything precisely what was wrong and how they were gonna fix it with a amazing additude. The owner Raul and the secretary Carmela made the accomodations to show me how to finance and helped me out to be able to receive all the proper care my car needed. This place is amazing and know what they are doing I will always recommend them to family and friends. I will keep coming for everything my car needs. 😊😊😊

SCAM ALERT❗ I'm very sorry to write this review, as I only leave reviews if experiences are excellent, or terrible. Unfortunately, this place is not only terrible, it is a legitimate scam. It's so bad that I'm filing a claim with the DMV. TLDR: They charged me and straight up didn't do the work on my car, and took 7 hours because I wanted to make sure it was done. They waited until I wasn't looking. For the long version, Here's what happened: I came into the shop with a beater car, knowing it needed some necessary maintenance. I did not want to spend a lot as I just need it functioning. Now, I'm not a car guy, so I needed someone who is to look at it and tell me what's exactly wrong. Unfortunately, some places (like this one) take advantage of people like that. They looked at it and told me all these things that were wrong with it. Told me that it wouldn't be safe to drive - unless I fixed it with them. These 2 slimy guys (primarily Marcos) were trying to butter me up and sell me on a bunch of stuff I know my car didn't need to function. On top of that, I was in a tricky financial situation that I expressed to them. They pretended to care, but they still tried to push unnecessary updates. I reluctantly agreed after I folded to scare tactics. The counter lady Carmela, put her hand in my face as I was reading the agreement saying "that's not important, don't read that." And just asked me to sign. After that, they created the invoice - and I read over that too. Good thing I did, because they left almost everything they told me they were going to do out. I asked them to revise it. They did, and CONTINUED to omit important things. I had them revise it 5 SEPARATE TIMES, before it said the price we agreed upon, and the work it was supposed to have. They kept taking things out of the invoice without telling me, and sending it to me to sign. Then the work began. Keep in mind, I had a shift to work in a few hours. They said, "Yeah bro, we can get this done in about 2 hours so you can get going on time." And so I waited. I was periodically watching them, and they really didn't like that. All in all, it took them 7 HOURS, and I had to call out of work that day because I didn't have a car. Something always "kept coming up". I asked them for pictures of the removed parts. They showed me only 2 of 6 parts they were supposed to replace. Not to mention, one of them was NOT EVEN FROM MY CAR. Yes, they were that scammy! Afterwards, I took it to another shop to make sure they did a proper job. They came back and told me I had problems - the SAME PROBLEMS Purrfect told me THEY FIXED. That's where they showed me all the rusted and oil caked components that were supposedly "replaced". ON TOP OF THAT, I called the company they used to finance me to report them. The company stated that Purrfect only put me down for one repair (the only one they did), and just put that one repair for the full amount. Well, I have a physical copy of the invoice AND a screenshot of the form they sent me that states what I was actually quoted. If I hadn't asked for/kept my invoice, I would've been totally screwed. In short, don't ever go to these guys. Stay away from Purrfect Auto - and if you need a mechanic, go to Brake Masters. BM did a phenomenal job on my car after these scammers messed with my car. I left photos btw after they "worked on" my car. You can see that it's rusted, oil caked, and damaged, as if nobody actually worked on it. Go figure. And BTW, these guys always leave comments on their reviews to try and justify their "work." Don't buy it, they're literally scammers doing what they do best - tricking people.

They’re very unprofessional, and their main objective is to con unsuspecting people without any mechanical knowledge out as much money as they can. They will deliberately sabotage your car in hopes that you come back. My car ran worse than it did after they supposedly fixed it. I then took to another mechanic and found out that they had intentionally disconnected the ignition switch causing my car to run worse. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to them.

Would leave a 0 star if I could. I understand its a business and need to make a profit but they wanted to charge me 2000$ to fix a issue on my car when the real issue was just a couple of rotten hoses, those 2 hoses being something they never brought up to me and only costing me about 30$ for both.

Avoid this place for any cost. These rude people will deceive you on what kind of repair your car need, they won't do what they say will do, yet you get badly overcharged. In my case, after all this like if that wouldn't be enough, I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed since they did not fix the problem. I am real customer with Jaguar XF and invoice number 694 charged on 10/10/2024

Didn’t even want to give it a one star, they only fixed the oil pan and got me leased for work they never finished or found out why my axel was breaking. The young man was hitting on me. I had the whole 9 yards of a horrible experience here. Grand total I’m going to pay by being leased is 5,000 for a car that’s only worth maybe 2,000 to 3,000 dollars. Watch out may their daughters not be preyed on the way this place does. Woah to u if u trust them. Keep in mind it’s important not to hire people who hit on women when u r coming for service. Your place of business regardless is unprofessional.

First off I been going here since I moved to Vegas in 2020 and for the most part I never needed anything major done. Just recently I had to replace transmission, radiator, head gaskets, oil housing, multiple tubes, sensors, water pump (they told me this was replaced but I had to buy one anyway because it was not replaced meaning they lied) and whatever else they told me I needed I supplied them to make sure the job was done right. They ended up keeping my car almost 2 weeks. When I got my transmission done I paid 5k went picked up car after they finished and l left the shop with no oil in my car after a standard oil change was SUPPOSED to have been done with the work i got done. How is no oil in car after you do a transmission replacement, changed the radiator and oil change and complementary minor tune up. Took the car back next day and told them no oil is in the car. They looked at me like I didn't know how to check a dip stick lol. So they put oil in the car and said it was changed but they didn't fill up all the way. Ok I let that go. 2 days later oil dripping all over the place. Again I take it back they say O the hoses are worn and need to be replaced. They replaced the hoses and they said car is running awesome and it's ready. I went picked car up around 530 before closing time drove for 5 min and I thought the car was going to blow up. So now I have a head gasket issue. They tell me now I have to pay $2,500 to fix it. Now I'm stuck with no choice but to get it done there because car is in bad shape. Now we at $7,500 that's a down payment for a brand new car. But this is the charges that accumulated from repairs. Ok fine what's done is done I'll have a new car damn near. They keep car 3 weeks having replaced head gaskets, water pump, intake manifold, oil housing, coolant system, and sensors. I go to pick up car now I have catalytic converter issues. So they give a quote of $1400 to fix. HELL NAW IM NOT LETTING YALL TOUCH MY CAR AGAIN. So I don't even know if I really do I have an issue with them but I took somewhere else and they did a full inspection of car and they told me whoever worked on your car really messed it up. Mind you the car was still leaking after 2 days from picking it up after they had it 3 weeks. I asked the professional mechanic how much to replace catalytic converters he said only one was bad but if I wanted to replace both he would do for 850 not 1400 like the place I just spent almost $8,000 with. After this time constructed review, if you take your car here you will absolutely regret it. They over quote you on prices to make you think you getting a good deal. This is a lemon drop shop. Meaning they patch up cars to pass smogs but the car is never really right after they touch it. 🚨🚨🚨🚨STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. This experience I had set me back 10k and I'm still in the same car. If you value your car and don't have endless money to spend stay away from here. 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Once you pay and they got you the love and concern is gone because they got yo money now and if you need more work they will tell you your car is in bad shape and not gone work correctly without something else that they tell you need to be done. So now I'm taking my car to the Dodge dealership to get a full diagnostic done to see what's been done and not been done. Lawyer on stand by for any possible negligence. 🚨🚨🚨🚨 It's just not worth the hassle so again STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL BE NEXT WRITTING A REVIEW LIKE THIS ONE. I PROMISE YOU. PS I have a $1000 dollar rent a car bill for how long they had my car. They give no updates you have to call them constantly they make you feel like you wrong for checking on your car. Just a terrible ran place. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

OMG! I took my 2013 Lexus to this place because my headlights went out. I ended up paying $3,000 for parts and labor. My car was returned to me 4 weeks later with a huge red warning light and a yellow light. Needless to say, I was afraid to drive it because the red light said to immediately take it to the Lexus dealer because the seriousness of danger (air bag and steering) could cause death. So it's sitting in my driveway making it inoperable going on 5 weeks because they ruined a mechanical part they promised would be in on Wednesday. It's Saturday and it just arrived. The GM promised to pick up the car from me on Monday. Beginning the 5th week of this fiasco. I have been without my car for going on 5 weeks! For simply headlights??? And $3,000??Worst car experience ever. Don't take your Lexus there!!

I took my car there for a smog, $2000+ dollars later and my car feels like the front end is going to fall off. The airbag light was on when I picked the car, which it wasn't on before, that cost me $1100+. The people were nice, as they robbed me blind. It makes me so mad that my car is now a POS. Also, they didn't even put all the tire lugnuts back on.

Ahhh, another purrfect auto scam location. Are these people ever honest? A friend of mine goes to get an oil change and comes out with a book of things they claim need to be replaced but the funny thing is a couple of the items are brand new and definitely have no issues. She didn't even go in for anything other than an oil change. A crank shaft pulley for 400 bucks? There isn't even a damn thing wrong with the pulley. A radiator, $1000... What a convenient nice even number to replace a radiator... Even if it had problems I've never paid more than 300 bucks and hers couldn't take more than an hour to do. What a joke. They need to be investigated more. The reason my name didn't come up in the data base is because it was under the girlfriends name.

I came in for a simple oil change on a Friday, recently. Was told "oh mami" your car needs work done. Not safe to drive. My check engine lite was on so it was determined the timing needs repair. Will have car ready by close of business that Friday. Then a call saying big job..be ready Saturday. I get there Saturday.."oh mami" your rack and pinion needs work. I want you safe...definitely ready today. 3 hrs later,,"oh mami". A really big job . Definitely ready Monday. Monday i get a text saying UPDATE,CAR NOT READY. After calling and being irate,,explaining im disabled car finally ready Tuesday. Bottom line..a simple $23 oil change turned into $5700.. im a disabled senior who will be suing before i have to live in my car. I have no money. MARCO YOUR SMILE HIDES THE SNAKE IN YOU.

I have been coming here for 7 years, 3 cars two Dodge and a Honda have all had maintenance/ repairs here. Always a good experience, ask for SOSA he will take care of you. This place does not sugar coat, if something is wrong with your vehicle they will tell you and bring you outside and physically show you the issue.

I have been to Purrfect Auto Service on Charleston Ave and Bruce in Las Vegas since 2000. I used to stay on 28th street and it was the closest auto although there used to be other mechanics around. I took my Escort, Plymouth Neon, and to fast forward 28 other cars to Toyota Yaris, and recently Toyota Rav4. In all my experience with them they never over estimated repairs and did a honest job and estimate. As I am retired and on low budget, I used to tell them leave the inspection. Few times they told me what my vehicle needed. But they never insisted. Needless to say every mechanic always come up with inspections and needed repairs. Purrfect auto is no exception. But if you tell them they listen and what you want they do it at reasonable cost. Ram

I’ve been hearing about this place for a while now and I want to thank Carmela in the front office for being so nice and friendly. Although I just needed a smog check they found an issue with the mounting bracket that I must have kicked loose and they were able to snap it back in place 🙏🏼 and I passed my test. They are a busy shop but to me that’s a good sign. Customers were being served and the employees were all polite and friendly. - Glad I came to this location 👍 . 9/4/2024 Today I returned for an oil change and they got me in and out quickly. great place honestly as a local I can 100% guarantee you will not find a better price for repairs then here . ever since I got my 2012 Nissan I been bringing it here since I bought it and they've literally made my car like new for a great price they've replaced control arms, mass air flow sensor , brake pads , rotors fuel injector oil change , and transmission flush , and honestly my car feels amazing thank you guys!!!! ask for Torrey he is honestly great !! and Raul the guy who runs these locations humble guy will remember you and recognize you from just one interaction THANK YOU PURRFECT AUTO SHOP !!!!! honestly PURRFECT 10/10!!
