I highly recommend Mr. Corbett. He came to us the next day and was able to pinpoint what the problem was exactly (harmonic balancer). He gave us a straightforward assessment and charged us a reasonable rate. I can attest, that the experience of him coming to us and making our vehicle drivable again, was seamless and worry free. And I have no doubt that his diagnosis and labor was spot on, since it’s been five months now and my van is still running great. I would hope to not have any major catastrophes in the future, but will not hesitate to call him again if I do.

I work on my own cars, but when I don’t have the time, tools, or expertise, I call Protech. Gerron makes quick work of any problem, anywhere. He is incredibly professional and saves me time and money. His business is integrated with Carfax so records are automatic. He does such a great job, I’ve entrusted him to be the primary mechanic on my kids’ car. If you are on the fence, don’t be.

Gerron is awesome! My compressor died and I really needed AC before a weekend drive up to Seattle. Despite my time crunch, he ordered and replaced the part in a few days. The replacement took a few hours, and I was happy I didn't have to be car-less for a day or two. I appreciated his flexibility and fun conversation - gotta rep Chicago!

I recently had my car serviced and initially had a frustrating experience where the issue wasn't correctly diagnosed. After being charged twice for on-site diagnostics ($125 each) and $175 to replace a fuel pump (which was not the real issue), I discovered the real problem was impurities in the gas tank. Though the fuel pump installation didn’t resolve the issue, and it caused additional costs, the mechanic eventually refunded one of the diagnostic fees ($125). Despite the setbacks, I appreciate the mechanic’s honesty and work ethic. While the problem wasn’t fixed by him, his willingness to refund some of the charges speaks to his integrity. I hope my review will help others make informed decisions.

Gerron is the man! Called him after he had closed his shop and he still made time to come out and conduct an excellent pre purchase inspection. He was available at the spur of the moment and got to us quickly. He was so fun to chat with and was extremely knowledgeable. He found all the things right or wrong with my truck and I felt more than confident with his expertise. He was legitimately fun to hang out with while he worked. I will be hitting him up for everything from now on. Thanks Gerron!

If you're looking for a straight shooter look no further, Gerron is your mechanic. He diagnosed my car and provided clear, honest guidance as to what I should do for repairs. In comparison to nearby shops he had the best price. I'm definitely returning for service and repairs.

Not sure if you can even find a better mobile mechanic around here, I’ve tried a couple and nothing compared to the services I received from ProTech mobile. Very experienced, equally friendly and professional. I will be taking my car directly to his shop in Beaverton for all future maintenance tasks that require a mechanic. He saved my stupid butt (upgrade all 4 struts in a crammed single car garage by yourself without equivalent experience if you have a mental illness like me) and secured a long term customer. I have been struggling for over a week but tonight I will rest easy because of ProTec. THANKS AGAIN. -Jason

I was very satisfied with the outstanding services provided for me and my family. The job was more intense then expected and so thankful that the diagnosis was spot on not only that the time in which the job was handled was perfect. Gerron is THE MAN. I had a failed starter on my car and walked over to his shop where he was working on someone else's vehicle, told me he would meet me back at my car and he came and helped me remove these retaining bolts that mount the starter to the engine that were locked on there. It was a huge inconvenience for me, but he got it done in no time and I was back on the road 🙏 This guy will get the job done at a fair and decent price. Honest, reliable, and dedicated to his customers.

Gerron is absolutely incredible, my nephew needed a car and had a tight budget, so we hired him for a pre-purchase inspection. He saved us from buying a lemon, and he just evaluated a car that checked out great, I felt so much more comfortable purchasing with his approval. He will be my go to guy!

Gerron is the best mechanic I’ve ever had. I was visiting Portland for the weekend and broke down late on Friday evening. We called Gerron on Saturday morning and later that same day he was out diagnosing our van. He worked on it for 6 hours in the heat, finishing up around 11pm making multiple trips to parts stores to make sure he finished the job. We didn’t ask him to stay late, he insisted he fix our van and “get us home”. Thanks to Gerron’s hard work, we’ll get home on schedule and aren’t trying to arrange a tow truck from Portland to Vancouver. I’m actually astounded at the level of service, I’d recommend Gerron/Protech to anyone with full confidence.

I was in an auto/techno bind with my RX 350 frozen in my garage. I could not get even a spark of life from it. I was at my wits end. Tried several mobile mechanics and they made appts. and didn't show. Then I found Gerron! He was punctual, thoughtful and engaging. He did the trouble shoot and had the issue isolated in 30 minutes. Once realizing the two year old battery wasn't holding a charge, he took the battery to AutoZone, purchased a new one, installed and I was good to go. Two hours for $327. The best money I have spent in years. AND, I now have a mechanic I can trust and rely on. I don't write reviews unless I am super impressed...you will be smart to use Protech Mobile! Call the G-Man.

Called and left a voicemail for this mobile mechanic based on all the very positive reviews. Over 24 hours later and never received at least the courtesy of a call back. Even a quick text would have been appreciated if he was too busy to call. Very disappointing!

Gerron Corbett is incredible!!! He came out quickly to work on my car that will need to go through DEQ soon. He is professional and his prices are fantastic! My car sounds great again, no knocking noise, he used the right oil for the oil change. I will absolutely call him again for all my car needs.

I highly recommend Gerron! While my car ended up being damaged way beyond his repair capabilities, he provided me with excellent information on what was wrong so I could give my insurance provider good information, as well as guidance on how to proceed with the claims process. You can tell he has a passion for what he does and helping people out as much as he can!

I was in the AutoZone parking lot trying to figure out how to connect the “machine” they give you to diagnose why your check engine light is on- I had no clue what to do and this sweet man (Gerron) was parked right next to me and offered to help me! He even used his own machine to figure out the problem. It ended up being a minor issue but he went out of his way to help!! Thank you Gerron, I will for sure use you in the future for oil changes or any other car issue I need help with :) Sara

Very fast same day service. Mr. Gerron Corbett is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He quoted me over the phone and offered to come immediately. He arrived and had my brakes replaced in 40 minutes, in time for my husband to drive to work for the day. I had taken my car to Les Schwab the day before and was estimated to be $430. Gerron was about one third that much and so convenient to have it done at home on my schedule. Mr. Gerron is now OUR mechanic! 100% recommend him 👍🏼 Thank you so much Gerron!!
