Great group of guys, family business with many years experience. TJ is owner with his wife. They just recently installed shorty headers on my ram pickup. Very reasonable pricing, and got the truck back to me same day. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for any car repair.

I Do not normally leave reviews but Protech was truly a pleasure to deal with. They honestly deserve more than 5 stars. Communicated every step of the way. They went above & beyond to get my mustang taken care of (it had multiple steering / suspension issues occurring) As well as a leaking rear brake caliper. I had it back in my hands the same day I dropped it off. The car feels brand new again. They were honest & fair about prices / work needed. I really can’t say enough positive things about Protech. From beginning to end these guys are top notch. I will absolutely be a repeat customer.

I am so satisfied and impressed with Protech that I would give them 10 stars if I could. My daughter ( in her early 20's) has a 2005 Chevy Malibu with only 86,000 miles on it ,handled down to her from my mother. I got in the car one morning to move it and noticed it was vibrating and just didn't sound good when you started it. I knew it was over due for an oil change. I checked the oil and it was at the minimum. I drove to Ace Hardware in Carolina Forest to get some motor oil to top it off until I could get to a shop to get the oil changed. I asked the gentleman helping me in Ace how much oil to put in it but he didn't know. A customer in Ace walked by and over heard the conversation and said that he owned a shop and proceeded to tell me how much oil to get. I inquired about the name of his shop and where it was located because I didn't have a mechanic and knew the car needed to be looked at. He said well we are closed until Wednesday due to the July 4th holiday but if you want to wait , just give the office a call when we reopen . It just so happened that his shop is on the way to CCU where my daughter works. I thought how convenient is that ! Meant to be ! I called Protech as soon as they opened Wednesday morning and got the friendliest voice on the other end. It was Dina , the wife of TJ that I had spoke to in Ace . I asked if I could bring it by that morning and leave it for the day while my daughter was at work to get the oil changed and see what else might be going on with it. Dina said absolutely! Protech thoughly checked it over and found that the motor mounts were bad and it also needed front brakes and rotors. I had a chance to drive the car this morning. What a difference! I am ecstatic that I found a shop I can trust that does awesome work at a fair price! Plus they give a discount to CCU students and staff! I will be taking my vehicle there from now on as well.

I have gotten my vehicle repaired at ProTech twice now and each time was a great experience. The new owners, Dina and TJ, recently took over the business in December but have already established a high quality business model and customer service culture. All of the employees are kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. Typically, I am hesitant about trusting auto-repair shops but they went out of their way to make sure I knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and why then how they were going to fix it in the quickest and most cost effective way. They have strong relationships with the local parts wholesalers which make their prices incredibly affordable and competitive. They have offered me free rides to work and have given me several complimentary services. I highly recommend ProTech to anyone, but particularly young women or students who are intimidated by car related issues. As parents of 3 daughters, they understand what its like to be in a college town where you are in an emergency and need someone you can trust to make your vehicle safe. For as long as I live in the Conway area I will be going to ProTech for anything I need done. P.S. they offer a college discount!

I highly recommend this shop!!! They are the best folks. Dina, TJ Galligan/Owners and Merrick/Lead Mechanic; are fantastic at what they do and I just can't stop bragging about them. I have been trying to find a honest family owned and operated mechanic to keep my automobile safe and reliable without getting ripped off by another dealership or garage. They even take the time to discuss their work in detail and let you walk out the door without having an unexpected problem come up with your car. I can honestly say you should take your car, truck, hotrod, etc. to ProTech before you try another. I will never go to another mechanic again!! They will always be my first choice. Thank you for a perfect experience!! Don't change a thing and keep up the great work!!!!

If you don’t know yet I recently sold the shop and retired.but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who gave me the pleasure of taking care of there vehicles. I got to meet so many people over the years. In fact I gained a lot of close friends over the years. The new owners Dina and TJ are really awesome people. When I put the shop up for sale I knew I would be really picky about who I sold it to and I think I made the best decision. I feel they were a perfect fit for the shop.well again I thank everyone who walked into my shop and maybe one day I will see you on the fishing pier 🐟 god bless all of you!!.

We came in from New York and these gentlemen said they'd squeeze us in. They said it would take about an hour to do our brakes and rotors was done in less the were kind professional and very well priced. Been servicing my household's vehicles for years now. They've done everything from suspension repairs to an entire engine installation. There was even a time when he couldn't repair one of our vehicles due to proprietary computer programming and he ended up not charging us since he couldn't fix it (and the ordered parts could be returned for a full refund). Very honest and dependable people!
