Looking for an auto mechanic service which can provide quality work. This was my first experience with ProTech and I’m impressed. They appear professional and capable. The estimate of recommended work I received in both paper and text (with pictures) was detailed and customer friendly. I feel that I’ve found what I was looking for and plan to schedule an appointment to complete all recommended services.

Was able to get me in within an hour of the part arriving! Once I got there they were able to replace my emergency brake switch in about 30 minutes! Absolutely amazing to work with! I think I may have found a new garage for future repairs!

We usually have a wonderful experience here and the other maintenance was done fine which is why I did give a few stars. We Have been repeat customers for years. The last visit did not go well due to “computer issues”. The check engine light came on two days after we had our service which also left a bad feeling. We will no longer be repeat customers.

I’m from Columbus and was looking to buy a used car from a nearby dealership. I had a very limited timeframe, so I called ProTech as soon as they opened to see if they could get me in that morning to do a used car inspection. Lauren was very helpful and said they would fit me in. Once the inspection was complete, Lauren called me to review the findings, send over a report with pictures, and provided an itemized estimate for the repair items. The dealer had previously done their own inspection, but after showing them the ProTech inspection report, they confirmed their findings and agreed to make additional repairs. The cost of repairs the dealer made more than covered the cost of the inspection and gave me confidence to purchase the used vehicle. I strongly encourage anyone purchasing a used vehicle to have ProTech inspect it first. They are extremely detailed and will ensure that you are negotiating from a well informed position. Their staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the inspection cost was very reasonable, and I would happily pay it just for the peace of mind.

Protech Auto Care would not provide any sort of quote to replace a water pump in a 2017 Toyota Sienna. Of the four auto shops that I called, they were the only ones who would not provide even a ballpark quote saying that they would need the vehicle to come in and do their own diagnosis. I did not ask them to diagnose the vehicle. I asked them to replace the water pump that is obviously going bad. This is the first sign of a predatory practice (the unwillingness to provide rough estimates). It's a pretty simple process. The auto mechanic book "Mitchell 1's ProDemand Flat Rate manual" says this is a 5 hour job. So all you have to do is take the shop's dollar per hour rate then multiple it by 5 then add in the cost of the water pump and new coolant. It's pretty basic math. Their unwillingness to do this is pretty unprofessional. Additionally, when I pointed this out to them, they said it would cost somewhere "between $12 and $12,000." So, I don't think this is the kind of mechanic that you want to work with. Just my opinion. All three other shops quoted me everything that I asked for with the understanding that it was a rough estimate. I went with one shop, their final price was slightly over, I paid them, and we all moved on with our lives.
