I asked around in my Jeep group for recommended places for re-gearing, and was told about Premiere West Gears. For starters, the recommendation came from a highly reliable and knowledgeable guy in my Jeep group, but I still did my research and even called another shop. Another shop, that quite frankly, I would have trusted too, but their price was 37% higher than Premiere West. After reading all the reviews and also taking into account that being in business, you won't be able to please 100% of the clients, 100% of the time, but if you're able to please a very high percentage, then to me, that's the real deal. As these guys were working on my re-gear (Jeep XJ, 4.10 to 4.56), I was able to step into the garage and watch, and ask a few questions. They pointed out to me that the copper air line for my front locker was pinched. I examined it up close and decided that it needed to be replaced. Fortunately, Miguel said that there was enough time to get the part before his guys were done with the job. I thought, if I could pull this off by getting the part, I won't have to pay labor again to open up the differential to replace the copper line. I called on my little brother and he picked up the part at a local 4WD shop in Riverside, and delivered it within an hour. That is true customer service, not being nickeled and dimed for a little extra work. I had the Jeep out the very next day to Dishpan Springs and it performed flawlessly with the new Revolution gear set. Fyi these gears don't require the typical 500 mile break in period. Thank you Miguel and your shop personnel for being so accommodating and reliable. I will use these guys again if the need arises.

Hello, I made a appointment to have this company look at my truck on a specific day. This outfit did not look at my truck for an entire six days after that and you can see why I am upset to begin with. I use this truck as a daily driver and this is why I made an appointment to streamline the whole process . Finally, they get the truck up in the air after they supposedly road tested it which I highly doubt. They claimed that it needs XYZ which I approved and another week went by due to one or another excuse while my truck was in there complex getting Driven out of the garage and parked outside in their tight parking space every single day and then brought inside at night. The reason why they do this is because it is in the ghetto and Needless to say things go missing, etc. These were all red flags that I should’ve seen right from the get-go. However, they have good reviews and I don’t know if they’re real or fake but I went along with it and the whole experience was very upsetting. Starting from the person at the front counter to me having to make constant phone calls to get updates . The whole process should go the other way around where the service writer contacts the customer and inform on the situation and gives recommendations etc. Furthermore, now my truck smells like gear oil. If you know what gear oil smells like. Absolutely disgusting and I cannot get rid of the smell . This can be caused by people stepping in and out of the truck with the gear oil on their boots and their elbows etc. There was some items listed on the checklist which they did not address on the same service call and I did not want to take my truck back there ever again, because truly I was traumatized with the situation. as you know, trucks these days cost a lot of money and to have this happen after you went by good reviews is truly disappointing and I want everybody out there to beware. This place deserves less than one star, and I think the reviews are not real. I am not going to post photos but you can go ahead and drive into their complex and you will get the feeling that I got also.

I took my vehicle here because it was making a loud wailing noise from underneath. I dropped it off with no appointment. They were friendly and helpful, letting me know within an hour what the issue was with the differential. They had the parts in stock and fixed issue same day. Wow! What service. The price was compatible with small mom and pop shops, so why not take to the professional that only do driveline. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

One very happy customer here. I was in need of regearing my Jeep and this shop was recommended by a friend/customer. I asked for a quote, which was comparable and lower than some other shops I had looked into. I made an appointment and was in and out in about 3 hrs. Miguel and the guys are great to work with and very knowledgeable about what you need for your particular application.

They regeared my 2019 tacoma to 4.88s and got it done the same day🤙 They helped a lot and was well worth the drive from vegas.

Took my F150 in to get re geared because I installed 35 inch tires, I told them to install new Seals and U-Joints on the rear end they did a good job but the front differential is where I had issues where they did not replace the seals or u joints in the front, After taking the truck home about 150 miles later i noticed it started leaking oil in the front I check it out and they did not replace the seals! I took the truck back to get fixed they call me and tell me the truck was ready I go pick it up and they charge me the for the U joints, seals and install. I told the guy the seals should have been replaced before hand that is what I paid for and they were not he removed the charge for the Seals. But I still I had to pay for the u joints and install If you plan on going here make sure to ask for all your old parts back and know what is getting replaced so you know you are getting the job done right!

Brought my 3rd Gen 4Runner in for gears and these guys took care of me. In and out in a days time and made it home to Northern California the same day. Couldn't recommend a better shop and crew to do gears at now.

I left my hot rod there to get the differential serviced and I had to tow my car home. I parked the car there with no issues. I picked the car up with a knock that turned out to be a spun rod bearing. The owner said that it knocked when they started it up after I parked it. It is hard to believe that I drove it 40 miles with no knock and all of a sudden it has a knock when they start it up to move it in the shop . It doesn't just spin a rod bearing just sitting there, and I would not have made it to the shop in that condition. The car was either taken for a joy ride or revved past its limits while in their care. Unfortunately I cannot rate the work done on the differential because they ruined my engine.

To start off Miguel and the team at Premier went above and beyond to get my truck back on the road. After breaking down at king of the hammers was able to call after hours and get the process moving. The work was top notch and couldn’t be happier. For all the work that was needed the price was right and not overcharged. I needed a new axle and got the rear end regeared with a new LSD unit. I’m back on the road and the truck feels great! Would recommend them any day of the week.

2023 Gladiator Rubicon, regear to 4.88. Waited about 3 weeks for an appt. Showed up at 8:20, vehicle was done by 11:30 a.m. Price was great. Can't recommend strongly enough.

Got a card from these guys at the offroad expo in pomona. Brought my F350 in for a re gear and had a couple ball joints replaced while it was apart. Saved over 400 compared to other shops I received quotes from. The guys were friendly and up front about pricing. They were also very accommodating working with my time-line. (I have a bad habit of needing last minute work done quickly) I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if I need work done on my other vehicles.

I had new gears put in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler today. I received exceptional service from Premier West Gears. I dropped it off in the morning and it was done a couple hours later. I picked it up at the end of the day, just a few minutes before they closed and I was not rushed out. They walked me through the break-in period and what I need to do to make these gears last (I did not receive any instructions from the last place I had work done). Pricing was fair and straightforward. Everyone I dealt with from the phone call/reservation through drop off to the pick was nothing but professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this shop.

I took my 02 f150 4x4 in and was able to talk to him about my truck very openly. I got the front and rear differential service. $300 in total and he had it done in a day and half. He gave me referrals for the other work I needed done. I look forward to getting my other ford AWD serviced.

My experience was great at this shop! They were able to answer my list of questions about regearing on my truck. They help me to pick what is best for my route of what I do with my truck. Also, Carlos was patience with my list of questions and he was able to help me understand my question. Similar with Miguel whom I didn't not meet in person but helped me via on message when I was placing my order and making my appointment. He was really helpful as well and able to help me understand my question. The service was pretty quick.

They did a cool job on gears but what I didn’t like that I had some shot wheel bearings in the back I feel like they should have seen that and let me know to fix wile we’re there

They do great work, first off met them off work hours and they offered to tell me what was wrong with my rear end for free. They promised to get it back to stock or better (bold words for not even seeing the rear diff yet) But they absolutely delivered!!! My 5th Gen is absolute beast with zero gear whine. As far as pricing goes i have no clue, and honestly for the quality work they did they could have charged me double what they did and i still would have paid. They were extremely fast and professional and one of the most knowledgeable shops i have found. I will be sending all my friends to them without hesitation. i wish i could give them 6 out of 5 start but.
