Oh my goodness! I wish I had found this place sooner. They are knowledgeable, quick, and cheap. They are the only ones I've found that care as much about your pocketbook as your vehicle. They have excellent customer service and go the extra mile. Thank you so much . You guys are awesome!

Picking up my kid from car line and a tight budget where on my mind when I called Portland Tune and Brakes. He answered on the 2nd ring. I arrived 5 minutes later for an immediate appointment for new front and rear brakes with paper thin pads. They took great care of my car, had EVERYTHING finished in less than 2 hours for 45% less than the Subaru dealership quoted me with a 7 day wait. So happy with them I almost didn't want to share a good thing! Going back for my oil change. Generous people, wonderful and reliable service. I will be a returning customer.

They replaced the power brake booster-which is evidently somewhat complicated to get to in her older model (American made) SUV. From what I could tell, they charged a “fair” price and finished faster than expected, and had her drive around to confirm she was pleased before paying. Unfortunately, they didn’t replace the brake pads as well so we’ll have to go back.

Sammy and his team have been taking care of our vehicles for 15 years! They always seem to figure out the issue quickly, and get the job done right, in a timely fashion, and for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend Portland Tune & Brake if you want an honest and knowledgeable mechanic in your life. As necessary and essential as your doctor!

Just wanted to review the great experience and service I had with Sam and the team here. Went in for brake pads and rotors and he took the time to check other items in the car and found the timing belt had cracks in it, as well as the drive belts. They were well past time for a change, so thank you Sam for taking the time to check those. Got the timing belt, drive belt, and brakes all completed within 24 hours. Will bring any vehicle issues I have here in the future for sure.

So glad I found these guys. My truck was throwing a few codes and had the check gas cap light on. A pump and some censors went out. I spoke with a guy who was named either sam or Russell (he was wearing two different shirts at pickup and drop off) he knew right away what the issue was. They work pretty quick and he gave me a very fair price.

Brought my vehicle in with a back brake issue. Was greeted by the owner and he had me quickly checked in. Was told I should have it back by noon and it was done before noon. The service was 5 star and the work done was 5 star. I will recommend these folks and use them in the future. Excellent service. Excellent job done.

I have been going to Portland Tune and Brakes for years and won't go anywhere else for minor service and oil change. They are as fast as possible and very honest and capable. I've used them for oil changes and brake jobs without a hitch! I highly reccommend them to everyone!

The man that owns this business is intelligent, kind, specializes in foreign made cars, works with females without bias, tries to squeeze you in and always greets you with a smile. My dad went to him after trying to find someone to replace the AC in his almost twenty-five year old Honda CR-V. Not only did he show him the price of the part, to build trust, honesty, and respect, but he then installed it for a very REASONABLE fee in this economy. I've brought both my Honda Civic and newer Subaru Crosstrek to him and he's never done me wrong or tried to lie. God bless the honest business men/owners in this world and economy.
