The staff at Pioneer Automotive are great with their customers. I was just there for a state inspection so I hung out in the lobby. But I overheard a lot of interactions with other customers and they were each professional. One female mechanic was going to note on a regular customer’s file that she still had a good amount of brake pad at that time, but to check it next time the car came in for maintenance. Seems like they care about keeping your car moving!

Everyone that works here is very nice! They explain everything that may need repairing very well and will even take you out to show you what needs repairing. They saved us a lot of headaches with a used vehicle we purchased. We were able to go back to the dealership and get the vehicle replaced with a different one. A shout out to Kristen and the mechanic who helped us!!

I honestly went home and prayed for all the hard workers at Pioneer Automotive! I've never felt so seen and heard. They went above and beyond with a smile. It's genuinely a positive atmosphere for customers. Because let's face cars can be tricky. I'm so grateful. ❤️ a forever customer

Staff and Techs are people friendly … take time to explain things to customers. Robert on the front desk is awesome. Have gotten both basic services (oil, brake flush, etc) and heavy maintenance (shifter linkage fixed, air conditioner fixed) at facility on gas cars. Plan to bring our newer Hybrid car for service when time comes up.

I went in on a recommendation from my brother in law. My car was shaking during high speeds, turning, and idling. They quoted me $2537.02 to replace both front wheel bearings. I couldn’t afford it and called another shop who quoted me $1500. When I came to receive my car one of the front desk ladies said that my wheel bearings are shot and said “I don’t know if you know this but, those are the things that keep your wheels on your car.” So, I wouldn’t go here unless you want to blow money.

I came in earlier today to fix a broken tail light, which I knew wasn’t going to cost more than $20. They did not look at my car and estimated about $130+ to fix it. Went to Kwik Kar and got service done on the spot at $14. Remember to shop around and don’t take the first quote! People like to up charge on services you don’t need. I could have learned a very expensive lesson today. Stay sharp!

Very clean inside, staff was very friendly and helpful. I love that the diagnostic was free and I got a great overview of everything my car needed as well as all of the things that are in good condition. And from what I can tell, the price was very fair. I will be making Pioneer my go to place.

My skid plate on my civic was messed up. Called this body shop due to reviews and had great service on the phone all the way to the shop. Everyone was nice and greets you. For sure my new body shop from now on.

These guys seem to know what they're doing. I've been using this shop for a while now and I feel like a valued customer. Sometimes repairs are expensive, but I have never felt like they are trying to rip me off. They will advise me on what needs attention and what can possibly wait until a later date.

I had to fix their poor work. They stripped out two ac compressor bolt holes to the oil pan on a sweet old school Celica. They used whatever bolts they had available haha. And they charged my customer over $2500 in repairs, including twice the amount of refrigerant called for (32oz. vs. 16oz. factory) with their computer generated profit nonsense - hey dummies just read the specs on the hood. Didn’t even zip up their undercarriage as a courtesy.

I recently had only an oil change with a coupon for $59. The total charge came to $89. I asked how it went from $59 to $89. They said it took 6 quarts instead of 5 quarts. I said oil is $30 a quart? They credited me $10. But that still makes it a $79 oil change with a $59 coupon.

Summary: price check them before they do work. I have never felt like a $$$ sign more than my visit here. I called around 7 am to simply get a quote. (I have already gone to get an engine reading. In addition, I knew a place I could go but I didn’t want to drive a far distance.) I was advised to bring it in. Understandable. I bring it in at 8:07. I was told they could get me a Lyft to go home as it may be a while until they could look at it. Ok fine. I leave. I look up and it’s 11. I call to get some answers. They want to do a diagnostic test $189. My response, I don’t want that. I just want a quote for 2 things to be completed. Boy did I get a quote!!! $173 for 4 spark plugs. (Spark plugs cost $10 each. )$106 for an ignition coil. (Ignition Coils cost $40-50.) Then $189 for Labor. I asked for a Lyft to bring me back, and I refused service to my car. I purchased the parts for $98. And took my car to the shop I should have. They completed the job for $150. Honestly, had Pioneer not been money hungry I would be happy to return for the additional work before my registration lapsed. But I’ll be driving right on past them.
