We had a positive first experience with Pinnacle. They handled our hybrid car's first annual inspection well. We were in and out of their shop in less than 2 hours with our sticker and a detailed report of services performed.The price was reasonable and they didn't try to upsell us. This is a drop off and pick up car repair place. We didn't see a place to hang out and wait while your car is serviced. Don't be put off by the shop's no-frills exterior. The mechanics and other stuff are friendly and know their stuff.

I have been to pinnacle before for car inspections, and though they were pricier than other places, I have trusted them to properly inspect my car. I had my car towed to pinnacle recently due to a battery issue that I was not certain was a dead battery, plus an oil change and tire rotation. When the tow dropped off my car at pinnacle, they were instructed to drop it across the street (which I later learned was a school zone and got a parking ticket that was just left in my car). For the new battery and diagnostic, oil change, and tire rotation: over $700. I was shocked but knew there was not much I could do, I needed my car back after it had been there for 2 days (I made an appointment for early AM the previous day and it was not looked at until the next day). I have no doubt of their expertise and want to honor their time and effort, but the price was unreasonable for what was performed, in my opinion.

They charged me $124 for a state inspection, whereas I paid $60 last year. I asked them to check my tire pressure and fill to 36 psi. They said they did, but they left it at 33. They also managed to scratch my gauge cluster.

Called the day before to book a 10am inspection. Dropped it off on time, and was quoted at about 2 hours. Cut to 3 hours later, and they tell me it’s gonna be another 45 minutes. Apparently they prioritize walk-ins, so they don’t see a problem with disregarding appointment times. They also had to replace my rear wiper to pass (it was working fine), so total cost was $150. I called KX Auto and they charge $75 and only take an hour and a half. Staff was insistent that my concerns were misplaced, didn’t try to make it right at all. Oh and lastly, there was a covering from the rear wiper sitting loose on top of the hood, so I had to click that into place myself.

Charged me over 100 dollars for a brake check which is usually free with an oil change at places I've gone to before. I used to love Pinnacle, but things seem a lot more disorganized and overpriced in my past few visits. I once dropped my car off to have a noise checked only for them to put off checking it for 3 days - seemed like they had totally forgot they even had my car.

I had a state inspection and tire rotation done on my Tesla Model Y. I was able to get an appointment within a few hours of calling. They were able to finish the job efficiently . Their price is comparable to other places. Only have street parking, but I was able to find a spot easily. Staff is courteous.

I've been coming here for years, for inspections, repairs, and standard scheduled maintenance as required by my car manufacturer. Until about 15 years ago, before I knew the people at Pinnacle, I was always wary of just how honest a lot of the shops in the area were. I had the same trepidation with Pinnacle when I first went there, but they went out of their way to clarify to me what was actually wrong with my vehicle, and even made a point of showing me the defective aftermarket part that had failed. I expected The usual over-inflated repair bill, only to be pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the cost actually was. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE WITH ANY OF MY VEHICLES. WILL B / 215.605.3400

It can sometimes be daunting dealing with car issues as a woman… we’ve all heard the stereotype of how mechanics deal with women, etc. The men at pinnacle have erased that stereotype. These guys have a great deal of integrity. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years and have always received the best service. The prices are fair, they work swiftly and efficiently. I couldn’t imagine ever going to another mechanic.

very well run, professional repair shop My second visit, this time for 38,000 mi inspection and maintenance. Those folks are clearly careful and knowledgeable, a well run business. Only negative, which can be big, is that they have no place to park cars waiting for or completed service, will either park cars in a nearby 2 hour parking place on the street if one is available or in a school zone across from their shop - which means that a customer has to be around to pick up the car promptly after the repairs are done or risk a ticket. A good coffee shop is close by that does not mind Pinnacle customers hanging around a bit and using their laptops.
