I was very satisfied with the service and attention given to my Cadillac SRX by Phils Excellent Auto Service. I discovered a coolant leak over the weekend and needed to get it repaired asap! The initial goal was to take it to the Caddy dealership but due to the distance I was hesitant because I wanted to avoid any additional damage or potential overheating. I found Phil’s by searching for repair shops online. It was less than 10 mins away from where I was…Perfect! Took a look at their reviews and was quite impressed with the certifications and how so many customers gave positive feedback. Well, I am the next to add to those accolades. The staff, Crystal, mechanic - Mario and Mr. Phil himself offered exceptional service from the time I scheduled the appt. until the time my SUV was fixed. A bit nervous, racing against the clock. However; Crystal eased my mind and advised me that they would do their best with taking care of it. Well, in less than 24 hrs with other vehicles being serviced. I received a call to inform my car was ready. More than pleased and all seem to be running well. I will definitely return should any other issues arise, as well as recommendations for friends and family. Thank you all!

I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else in the city! I needed a quick turnaround for a road trip and Phil assured me that’s it would be taken care of in time. My suspension no longer squeaks! I wish I knew about Phil a long time ago. Excellent customer service, transparency, & quality!

I had such a lovely experience at Phil’s! I got my oil changed at a separate Philly garage and they diagnosed my car with a ton of issues and gave me a super high quote for them — they were quite pushy for me to get the services done then and there, despite the high cost being out of my budget then. It left me with a bad feeling so I went to Phil’s for a second look. He easily could’ve sold me on the same scam diagnosis, but instead thoroughly and thoughtfully checked out my car and pointed to where the first estimate was off. I appreciated his honesty and transparency — he took photos of everything as my car was serviced and even helped walk me through a few parts once it was complete. I will definitely be back!

Went there for a estimate and the hospitality was not great at all the gentleman that I spoke with appeared to be suppressing his arrogance to a point where he had some kind of panic attack by way of coughing. I will not patronize a unwelcoming business even with a fare price.

I never leave reviews, but this is the easiest 5 star ever! I randomly chose Phil’s Excellent Auto Service after seeing all of the positive reviews. I have never felt so well taken care of by an auto repair shop before today. I damaged my bumper and headlight in a fender bender when my vehicle was only a year old (just got around to getting it fixed). My insurance company made the service take a little longer, not Phil’s fault; however, he and his team still went above and beyond to accommodate me for the time. I received updates from them consistently and left with a fresh wax and detailed interior (the photo doesn’t do the interior enough justice). They did not have to do that, and I will definitely be a returning customer! I also paid significantly less than what I was quoted at another shop a friend referred me to months back when the accident initially happened.

Lifesaver! They got me in asap when I was super concerned about an issue. Once they start the work, they text you an inspection link that has photos and descriptions of everything they've looked at, which is super helpful. Crystal was really nice and helpful too :)

You ever get on the phone with a shop to ask for a simple price quote, on having an aftermarket BBK installed. But before you can say that, the overbearing female receptionist, starts barking out the riot act🤮 We will inspect your vehicle and tell you what you need!!! We don’t use parts brought in from other vendors!!! We order the parts at our price and you pay it!!! NO THANKS😂😂😂 I need an already in my possession quadratec big brake kit heavy duty performance package installed. It’s all plug and play, new larger drilled and vented rotors, new 2 piston larger calipers, new stainless steel brake lines, new heavy duty pads. It’s the 2019-2024 JL front kit rebranded by Quadratec for JK Wranglers. I know exactly what I had and the work required to install, it is a plug and play, no modifications kit. YouTube has multiple videos on the conversion, its 45 min of work. So to have this condescending female phone receptionist, tell me how it was going to be.🤨 I’ll opt out and have my regular shop do the work, even if it means waiting till next week, since they are booked up. A testament to their quality and expertise🫡 If you need an overbearing dominating female to talk down to you, give this muppet factory a call. Otherwise if you’re a competent human being who doesn’t appreciate being spoken to disrespectfully, avoid this Bush League establishment.

I must say that I TRULY THANK Phil's Excellent Auto Service Inc for the Great Job they performed on My Jeep Grand Cherokee..It needed a new radiator in addition to other numerous repairs...As a result, they provided a full report that was professionally created in excellence, and MOST OF ALL the fact that HE TOOK ON A TASK that I wasn't sure could be resolved without possibly PAYING MORE MONEY$$$$ is the ICING ON THE CAKE of Full Gratitude!!!😊

I had the pleasure of working with Phil. Phil is a nobleman who strives for excellence. After months of figuring out the main cause of my shifting issues, I was in need to find another mechanic. What stood out was his promptness, attention to detail, and honesty. His communication system is top-of-the-line. It provided details of the problem, what is recommended, pictures of the diagnostic findings, and an estimate that explains all the costs associated with the job. After the service, he exceeded my expectations and gave me the confidence and knowledge to tend to my car properly. I don’t plan on using anyone else other than Phil to repair my car.

Took my car for service. Very bad attitude after sending over $2000. Went in for oil pump within 2 weeks car was total. Worse experience ever.

I live down the street and they never stop amazing me on how punctual and caring they are when it came to my car. I'm originally from a small town so I rather pick a family owned business than a big corporate company. I couldn't move my car due to it having a faulty starter and flat tire, they came out to my car; inspected and moved it to their shop without extra cost. They finished my car within the same day of me dropping it off. They did a full inspection to tell what also needed to be replaced in the car without any extra cost. The lady at the front desk provided great customer service and is always a pleasure to speak with. Mario and Phil both did an amazing job of getting my car back to me quick. Will be sticking with this business for anything that happens to my car.
