Mike and Darla are amazing!! They were kind enough to fit my son’s truck in. They were our second opinion on a potentially $1,700 job! They put a lift on his truck a few years back and did an amazing job. He was having some trouble with potentially several issues. These amazing people took the truck in and we had it back in time for my son to travel back to college……safely. As a mother I couldn’t trust them more and as a financially strapped single mother I can’t begin to express my sincere gratitude for their knowledge, professionalism and kindness. I’m beyond grateful for this place!!!

Performance lives up to its name, as I was pleasantly surprised by the expedience, professionalism, and personal attention I was given when I brought my trailer in for wiring and tail light issues. During final checkout, it was diagnosed that a fuse in my car was blown, and it was quickly replaced at no charge! A truly en-light-ening experience!

Blew a hub right after launching my boat. Had to find someone, anyone that had a custom five spoke hub and performance hitch and truck accessories had what I needed. I left my boat and trailer to come pick up the hub, I met the owners and they gave me some advice on how to fix it. I went back but the problems were too much for me to handle. The bearings welded themselves to the spindle, I was in big trouble! I made a call back to performance and asked for advice. You would’ve believe it but five minutes later the owner, Mike, himself brought his tools and took care of the issue himself. He didn’t ask for a thing, he was just being a great human being. I don’t need to tell anyone reading this how rare that is these days. Mike and his wife went out of there way, for nothing, for a complete stranger. As a full time fishing guide and pro angler I rely on my equipment more than most and have a lot of maintenance needs. I’ll never take my trailer anywhere else ever again. They have my business for life!! Thank you again so much Mike and Performance staff, I’m sitting here at my son’s baseball game thankful for great people and great businesses!!

Performance Hitch and Truck Accessories saved the day. My fiance, Frank, was having one of the worst days and the best people (the owner Mike himself) came and helped him. Frank is a captain and owner of Turtlehead Charters guide service here on Lake Norman and he also guides in Florida and he’s never been so happy with such service for his equipment that he relies on. I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to get hooked up to be towed behind my camper. They did a great job with everything. Beyond that, I went to pick up my car with my camper to test out the towing, and Mike and Darla were right there to make sure everything was hooked up correctly and that there were no issues. There was an issue with the car (not the work they did), which they researched and found a solution. You can count on them to take great care of the work on your vehicle and they will take care of you as well.

Mike and his staff have taken care of me and my F250 on multiple visits. They're wonderful down to earth people who love their customers and go the extra mile. No one touches my rig for custom work except these good folk! They've done steering stabilizers and a custom rear bumper install for me and I couldn't be more pleased.

Mike and his team are the best in the business. They communicate with you the whole time, are extremely fair on pricing and go above and beyond to take pride in there work. I had a Pullrite super glide hitch installed and I was missing a part in the packaging. Mike contacted me right away and got everything done in a timely manner. He also fixed a small issue with my air bags that I was quoted 3 times the amount that he charged. If you want quality, attention to detail and that great family owned business this is the only place you will want to go. Thanks again Mike!!

They did a great job on my landscape trailer. They fixed the lights, leaf springs, and tires. They had it all in stock and got to it in a timely manner. I was super impressed that it was a "one stop shop" for everything including the tires! Very friendly people as well! They will definitely be doing stuff for me in the future!

We selected Performance Hitch for our Jeep flat tow setup install based on their expertise and knowledge conveyed in the first conversation. After the Jeep baseplate, lighting and brake controller installation, we drive our MH over and Mike went through the whole connection process, as we had not flat towed before. Just got back from our first flat tow shakedown trip and it went flawlessly. We would highly recommend Performance Hitch for this type of work!

I was in a time crunch and needed better tires and a spare to take my jet ski to Florida. I needed 3 radial tires and another wheel. After working with Mike, everything was in the next day. This shop is EXTREMEMLY busy, but he told me to bring it in the next morning, leave it and that they would work it in. By 1pm, it was done and ready for pick up. Price was very reasonable and the personnel courteous and friendly. If you need an expert in hitches, trailers, towing needs.... this is the place to go.

Great guys that really know their stuff. We took an old trailer of ours there to see if we can get it repaired. They were honest and up front with us. They told us the work would cost more than it was worth. And then took the time to give us advice about what type of new trailer to buy. I highly recommend this place.

Mike and Darla are super-nice and honest folks. They talked to me for an hour and gave me the confidence to purchase my 5th wheel. They also saved me significant $$$ vs. the dealer and istalled my sliding hitch. They also installed cameras on my rig and a bike rack. Jim is an excellent installer and they will be installing airbags on my truck. I'd rate them 10 stars!!! You'd be hard-pressed to find nicer or better folk! Their work is topnotch!!
