Needed 4 tires. The online appointment option was awesome. Dropped off 1st thing in the morning and picked up after receiving a text, smooth sailing through the entire process. The gentleman behind the counter was very polite and easygoing. Highly recommend.

I had an appointment at 10:00 yesterday for an oil change at 11:00 my car hadn’t even moved. I asked why he said appointments don’t matter, it will be at least 2 more hours. He was very rude. I didn’t get his name but he was the older guy working the front. I asked him for my keys he said no because my car was already written up. The younger guy was nice and gave me the key. I highly suggest you find someplace else to have your car serviced

As a 25 year old female iv had my part of problems with men overcharging me to repair a vehicle, but this place overall is the worst. If I give them my car for an oil change, they charge me more then what they said it was going to be when I dropped it off if I bring them my car to see what’s wrong with it they call me two hours later with a $3000 bill saying my car needs a new part and then when I take it somewhere else it’s never that I’ve been to this place maybe five or seven times and every single time I have left just disappointed and having to pay more than what I should pay on December 8, 2024 I took my car here told them something was wrong with it. Two hours later they called me to tell me that I needed a new catalytic converter and estimated me $3000 for the repairs something didn’t sound right so when I took it to another car shop less than three minutes away, they called me less than an hour later informing me that that was not the issue and in fact I needed new ignition coil set and iridium xp I got the issue fixed for $500 and my car runs a lot better. I am so done with Pep Boys especially this location

I work in Winter Haven and bring our company vehicle for maintenance here at Pep Boys. Simon and the other guys are friendly and helpful and the service counter and the guys in the back keep our Transit Van running nice and smooth. This team deserves a 5-star shout out. Also this place has good food options around their building if you have to sit and wait a while.

1 year ago I rated this location 5 stars being the management and staff provided exceptional service. However, after taking my vehicles there for nearly a year and half now the service is nothing like it used to be especially with the most recent service I had. I originally had an appointment the Friday before Veteran’s Day @ 6PM upon arrival the Tech explained the wait time I was looking at and I explained I wouldn’t be able to wait that long and I would return another. He mentioned that the corporate site allows multiple customers to book 1 time slot leaving them overbooked. I returned Veterans Day for an oil change, tire rotation, and repair to the protective cover underneath the car. It took an hour just for a tech to take my car back and additional hour for an oil change and tire rotation to be completed. Once done the Store Manager (if I’m not mistaken) was the tech to check me out, tells me absolutely nothing about my service if they were able to repair the protective cover underneath the car or even any suggested any future services that my car may need. Upon getting home after the service I also noticed the protective cover underneath was not even touched as it was hanging on the ground. Please save your time and go somewhere else.

Made appointment online for 4 tires and when I called to make sure they had them in stock, they put me on hold for 17 mins. Cool. Comes on the phone asking me for my name and info all over again and says hold on I'll check. Yea no thanks I waited long enough. I'll buy 4 tires from the next guy

Called and then went in with just under 2 hours before closing with an emergency replacement of just the spark plugs. They got us in and out before closing and they were friendly, respectful and courteous. Explained in detail the pricing and didn't try to pad extra things to make it higher and let me choose exactly what I could afford to have done to the car without giving me a doomsday speech about not replacing other things. I thank you guys very much for taking us in at such short notice and getting back out and back home without needing a tow.

I arrived at 10:30 AM for an oil change with an appointment at 11:00 AM. It is now 2:35 PM, and I’m still waiting. This place is a joke😂

Initially I was irritated because the tires I purchased online for two vehicles were not in stock. I was told they didn’t have the tires for my truck and that they would be there in four days. They actually had the tires in stock but had moved them to the reserved section of the shop so the truck would be done that evening. The second issue was with being told all four tires for my car were there and it would also be done that evening. One tire was missing for the car but they said it would be done tomorrow at 10 am. I went to the Pep Boys that evening to get my truck cause I could not be without any vehicle for the night. They didn’t tell me the truck was ready and I waited for them call or text. After 50 minutes I went inside to see what was going on. The worker must have been confused that I was picking them both up tomorrow. I got my truck and went home. The next day the car was ready when they said it was and I was satisfied with the discount they gave to make everything right for the inconveniences. I drove a mile down the road and the tire pressure monitoring system was alarming because all the tires were low on air. The car requires 45 psi which is indicated on the vehicle door jam sticker. They made everything right and I was satisfied. Everyone was really nice and accommodating, they didn’t argue to make excuses. Please check manufacturer guidelines for tire pressure requirements before sending someone on their way though.

Under new management huh?? So I come here to get 2 new tires and the manager convinced me to get my oil change here, so after waiting 45 mins after my scheduled appointment they take my car , then I get a text an hour and a half later that my car is ready, should of made me happy but they never put the new tires , they weren’t added on the to do list… so can someone tell me how this new management is better than the old one??? I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service here but no worries they made 68.00 off of me but lost 300.00 and I won’t be back🤬🤬 or ever refer anyone here. thanks Randy and Kenny.

9/6/24 Appt. @ 9am for a simple battery replacement on a company vehicle using a WEX Card. Arrived@ 855am thinking all the info was in the system since entering all the info on the website during the scheduling of the appt. Not the case. Had to state what I was standing in front of Randall for and all the info that had me standing there. I was there for a battery replacement and stated that is what was needed and expected, but of course, they advised they would do a battery test and make the decision and inform me. WHY, I am the paying customer and stated what I wanted, not needed or their diagnosis/input. 925am the vehicle was finally pulled into the bay area. 1030am, after silence and no info, walked to the counter to ask Randall (service advisor) what's the holdup and what's going.on. He stated he was just getting ready to ring me up. After 20 minutes of testing his patience dealing with WEX and getting no answer, I gave my AmEx for payment. It was 20 more mimnutes before the vehicle was actually pulled out the bay and I could finally depart at 1111am. Over 2 hours & 15 minutes for a simple 2 minute battery change that I was forced to use due to company mandates for company vehicle maintenance. This is the 2nd of 2 visits that I wish I would have taken the vehicle somewhere else. March 2023 for 4 tires and 4 wheel brake job that took over 5 hours and went downhill from there. NEVER AGAIN.

Had to bite the bullet and buy all 4 tires new at the same time. Talk about full adulting. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly, quick, and took care of everything we needed. 5 stars 🌟

My favorite pep boys location. Van is running like butter 🧈 so smooth! Always available to get my oil change done. They do such a great job my van feels brand new as i drive out of the shop. Thank you guys 😀

Very disappointed. 😢 waited hours and parts were not available. Offered other parts. Still waited. At check out. Asked about discounts (senior,military,aaa). Manager said discount would be applied and after checking out. No discount. Price of repair $528 so I should have received a 10% discount $52 but manager was unable to help in store and said that I would have to deal with Corporate office to fix the problem. Pep boy managers should be able to handle simple problems such as this instead of making valuable customers to wait hours. Days or weeks to see if anything happens. Plenty of other repair shops that are willing to provide acceptable customer service and not make customers who are spending hundreds of dollars 💸
