I’ve taken my truck in here a couple of times before and gotten great service. Today my starter went and I had it towed in not expecting them to even look at it before Monday. My starter was replaced and my truck back in my driveway within 3.5 hours. William is the go to guy! He and Eric were friendly and I couldn’t ask for a better place.

I purchased a new battery from Pep Boys. Approximately 3 weeks later my check engine light came on. I took it to get scanned and the code came back that there was an issue with the fuel sensors. I took it to an experienced shop I have used for 20 years and trust. The battery I was sold was sulfated and was causing communication errors throughout the rest of the system triggering the check engine light. I contacted Pep Boys to remedy the issue and they were less than pleasant to deal with. Not only did I have to spend almost $200 on diagnostic fees, I was out a vehicle for 2 days and several hours of missed work. Of course Pep Boys didn’t take any responsibility or offer any kind of compensation. Pep Boys selling me a faulty battery ended up costing me over $500. I was also passive aggressively told it was my fault I took it to a different shop and if I had brought it back to Pep Boys I wouldn’t be in this situation. I drive a newer Mercedes and many shops don’t even work on them. It wasn’t a battery light that came on, it was a check engine light and I had the code ran BEFORE I took it to a shop. I am not obligated to trust Pep Boys to service my car, although the manager apparently thought otherwise. Horrible experience all around.

I appreciate the pepboys team honoring what another location said. However if your a manager in customer service, you don't say in front of the customer "I'm not losing $$$". Say it in the back where custom9 can't hear you.

A tire rotation, that I’d made an appointment for, took an hour and a half. When I do it myself at home, with no lift or pneumatic tools, it takes me maybe 30 minutes all said. The shop was not busy. Not acceptable. Not a lot of pep to be seen at this place.

Went in for a 4 wheel brake job. After a good 10 minutes of typing on the computer, the tech prints up a quote for almost $900. Odd, since their website says it’s $185 per axle for their premium brake job. The quote included 4 new rotors. When I questioned why they would think I would need new rotors, another tech, who looked to be a higher up, chimed in that they couldn’t resurface the rotors because their machine was down and a new machine was coming in a few days. So I’m supposed to buy 4 new unnecessary rotors because their machine was down? Why not just tell me they were unable to resurface the rotors when I asked for a quote. Never again!

My 20 year old van drives like new after a spa day with these guys. Everyone I spoke to both over the phone and IRL was very friendly and helpful. Competitive pricing. Don't know why so many people are giving bad reviews. My experience was positive.

This is my 2nd stop at a pep boys and the guy tells he does lyft inspections after 4pm. That he is the only one who does them and he to busy. To come back at 4pm . That how Lyft drivers are treated .Will never come back.

With an appointment, it took PEPBOYS (W Ina), a professional tire company, 2 hours to replace/change a defective tire including an alignment (they did not rotate the tires). Not happy. Uncomfortable waiting room. Perhaps I wouldn't have noticed that had i not been there for such a long time.

We were on a 10 day road trip when our brakes began to fail. Although I booked an appointment online, the shop was not ready for my repair. No parts had been ordered, and the vehicle was not even taken back for one hour after we arrived. The estimated time for repair was 2 hours, but after 4 hours, they still didn't have all the parts required. In the end, we waited 5 hours (three hours overdue) for a scheduled repair.

Mother had her car towed in. She explained that they are super busy. They squeezed her in to find out the problem. Fuel pump needed to be replaced. She explained it was outstanding service and explained all details on the car and what it needed. Thanks for taking care of my mother. 👍

William at Pep Boys was a great person to deal with and I had a very good experience. Service was faster than expected. I am definitely going back for most of my car repairs. Toyota tried to sell me a repair service that wasn't necessarily, no need for that repair at this time. Saved me over $400 on the repair that wasn't needed. Also was almost $200 cheaper than Toyota even with a Oil Change included. Thank you William for your honesty. Nancy

I made a appointment on line and was able to get an appointment that very day. I got two new tires the same tires as the other guys but without the week wait for an appointment. The employees there were friendly and took my truck in right away. This place is the best kept secret in Tucson when it comes to getting tires. I kind of hate to tell everyone about this place. I wouldn't want it to start getting like the other guys.

My husband went in for an oil change on Friday afternoon. After paying and leaving, he noticed the oil light came on by the time he reached our home, just 5 miles away. Upon checking, the oil level was completely dry. We immediately called the facility and were told to have the truck towed back, as they were certain there was oil in it. On Saturday, we waited five hours for the tow truck to arrive. Both the tow truck driver and our neighbor confirmed there was no oil in the vehicle. When the truck arrived back at their facility, they pulled the plug, and only about two quarts of oil came out. Despite this, they insisted there was oil in the truck, though a Chevy Silverado should have much more than two quarts. Despite their obvious mistake and the inconvenience caused, they refused to give us a refund. Their customer service was not only unhelpful but rude. They continually insisted there was oil in the vehicle without acknowledging their error. We reached out to the corporate office to request a refund, but they redirected us to the general manager, who never called my husband back. We are extremely disappointed with the service we received. The least they could have done was refund us for the incorrect service and the inconvenience caused. I would not recommend their services due to this experience.
