Had an appointment for an oil change. When I arrive, told they are behind and it would be 2-3 hours before they could get to me. The guy at the front desk was rude and then proceeded to tell me information about a different vehicle. I left. Horrible customer service!

What an amazing place! Tom was very helpful. I had an emergency with my vehicle, and my alternator was about to be gone. We had sure I was able to get in asap and get it fixed. Within 2 hours, I had my car back, and it was back to normal. I would definitely recommend calling Tom for any needs with your vehicle. I'm gonna make this my to go place if I ever need anything. Please do check them out.

Check engine light still on. They don’t work on all vehicles. seems like they have techs that aren’t fully knowledgeable. Won’t return. So I paid for a service that wasn’t fully completed. They said drop it off we will get to it in 48 hours. After it was already supposedly completed. You guys have today to figure out how to give me my money back or I will call my bank.

Made a reservation for a oil change. I was quoted approximately $60 after mentioning my truck needed full synthetic oil. Arrived, they couldn't find my reservation. They performed the oil change but billed over $100 for the service. I'll just go back to Ferman Chevrolet if I'm not saving money on the service. Not worth my time.

For years I have taken my car to Pep Boys with no problems. The last couple of years it has turned into a salesmanship game. The Manager's special used to be the good reason I would go to Pep Boys, oil change, fluid topoffs, tire rotation all for under 100 dollars. Apparently not only the managers special is gone, but tlnow they put the sales game and how much they can bill out of you with no real consideration of loyalty. For example - they said I need to replace the rear tires immediately and it was dangerous. BS, there is still at least 10k left on those tires, easily. Then for the kicker. They apparently forgot to do the diagnostic which they said they would knock that charge, saving me $100. So the engine light was on. I took it back and they said it was a thermostat and it would cost me about 500 dollars to replace. Upon further review, I am familiar with bad thermostats, so it was immediately suspect. But I know I don't no everything. aAfter getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion. As well as a diagnostic hookup with me present, there is nothing wrong with the thermostat. I'll find a mechanic I can trust from now on.

I have been doing business with the location on N Dale Mabry for over 15 years, and over 10 cars total. I started with Paul and now Tom and Anthony. They always find a way to save me money but not at the expense of safety. I always drop off the car I'm having serviced. If they find a problem, they point it out and often send pics. They do run behind at times but that's why I drop off. There have been many times no charge shows up on my invoice. I have supported them all these years and will continue to do so.

I've been getting my vehicles serviced here for a few years now and have had repeatedly good service with each visit. On my most recent visit I worked with Anthony and he was very helpful in squeezing in another service on a busy day. He was clear on what needed to be done and what could wait or I could do myself. I ended up needing to add on brakes (I knew it was about time) and the service tech Dallas was able to knock it out even while short handed on staff during the holidays. They've been an honest group to work with and transparent which is why I'll continue to return here.

Made an appointment for 8 o’clock for brakes and rotors 3 hours later I asked what’s taken so long and all I got was ordered the wrong rotors trying to put a rush on the new ones. Wasted a whole day because of poor service. I will not be back

This sucks. Taking nearly 3 hours to inspect and change a tire. There’s no line of waiting customers anywhere today, Wednesday, to justify this. No bathrooms for customers. The lobby is still under constructions as per two years now. A bunch of cocky jerk offs attending the place, including John, attitude up the ass.

Was desperately searching for an immediately available mechanic with the check engine on. Got Pep Boys on North Dale Mabry to run a diagnostic that day. Very nice staff and was offered some financing options as well....along with some options for the work required.

I went to Pep Boys for a large job to replace the water pump and the timing belt. Ben helped me and definitely took care of me more than I could have asked for. I really appreciated his honesty and help. I would definitely recommend this Pep Boys. Still good but the retail is gone.

Yo fui a cambiar las llantas y el empaque del motor porque liquidaba, y ellos me jodieron el carro, a otro dia mi carro se quedó en medio de la carretera. Y fuimos a reclamar y ellos se niegan de cualquier cosa y aparte tienen una actitud muy mala. La verdad no les recomiendo para nada este lugar.

Had a great experience my last visit. It had been a while since I was there last, and grew tired of dealership pricing. Pep Boys took great care of me and my car. They were very quick and reasonable. I will be taking my car there from now on.

I do not recommend going to this location. Larry and Tom screwed us. We got our breaks repaired here in May. Paid overpriced, but was lucky to get 12 months warranty. Or were not lucky? Here we are in November and our breaks are shaking again. We made an 8am appointment. Tom wrote down drop off when we made it clear we will wait for the car. Keep in mind we planned our day around this appointment and anticipated the timeframe to be a couple of hours. We arrive and Larry says, "It will take all day. " The appointment said drop off when we told Tom we were going to wait. He also, told us to go to another location due to short staff. Tom also mentioned he would get us in and out. Our car wasn't even looked at. So we were on the bottom of the list because of our warranty? I can't forget to mention that Larry tried telling us that our warranty is 6 months not 12 months. These guys were so rude and I'm so disgusted how they treated us. They need to be held accountable for all of this.

I made an appointment 2 days in advance to get new tires put on my van. I drive 30 minutes to this location with a spare tire on just for them to tell me they don’t know why the website allowed me to make an appointment and that they didn’t see they had an appointment coming at 5PM and they don’t have enough people or time to do my tires and sent me away with a spare tire on my car. Clearly unreliable….

I had an excellent experience at Pep Boys! The service was prompt and courteous, my husband got a ride home from one of the service managers, and the Michelin all weather tires are the best—such a smooth ride and you can feel the grip that they have on the pavement when you stop.
