Ok so I had an oil leak and called them for pricing, was told 38 dollars would be the price to look at vehicle and let me know what was needed, I agreed and 29 minutes later was told it was my valve cover gasket and it would run me 380$ with a one year warranty so I called around and found someone to do it for 240$ so I told them I’d pass on it and just pick up the vehicle and just pay the 38$ for the evaluation, upon arrival the women at the counter asked me why I was passing on them and I let her know that the pricing was too steep for the work that needed to be done, she then dropped the price to 257$ which I accepted and 2hrs later was called to pick up my car, I payed 270$ because of taxes I’m guessing , no biggie but when I got home I open the hood and heard a high pitch whistle and gurgle sound and my engine was leaking coolant , so I took the vehicle back and was told it was my thermostat housing gasket and that it was leaking when I brought it in , and it was not them who did it, I’d never had a coolant leak problem before they worked on my vehicle and mind you that they had did an evaluation in the beginning and told me it was leaking oil from the valve cover gasket, no mention of a coolant leak which was an obvious issue the second time I took it in, I ended up paying another 250$ for a new thermostat housing and gasket and had to pay for labor to fix a problem I didn’t have when I took my car in the first place , this was the first and last time I use a place like this, it’s very frustrating especially when a simple valve cover leak ended up costing me over 600$

My wife and I went in this past Sunday to get some tires installed that we bought elsewhere. I was quoted approx $18 per tire, but they told they only 2 guys on and they were swamped, that it would be a long wait. He asked if I could bring the car back tomorrow at 5pm and set the appointment up for me. I came back the next day and was told there was only 1 car ahead of me so I sat in the lobby and waited. During this time, I'm watching 2 service tech guys just chit chatting but doing absolutely no work at all, in fact there were 2 cars on racks with nobody working on them. An hour goes by, and by this time other patrons are now coming and going, including what seemed like a personal friend of one of the service techs that promptly had his issue taken care of. My car is still right were I parked it when I first got there. Another hour goes by and still nothing, but now I'm frustrated beyond belief, sitting in this filthy lobby with spilled coffee and trash. The restroom was a disaster, with ceiling tile rotted out and drooping. I couldn't stand waiting around anymore and asked for my key back. The tech said, did I just need to get something out of it, and I said no I'm leaving. He handed me my key and I left. Absolutely terrible service just a couple days before Christmas.

Pepboys on Nacogdoches did a great job repairing my vehicle. I was having some serious issues with no acceleration and my vehicle shaking and they knew exactly what repairs needed to be done. I got my vehicle back immediately and paid very minimal for the repairs. I am definitely going back to this location. The staff was professional and friendly, and there were no unexpected surprises.

Check engine light was on in my daughter’s car. Wanted to be sure the car was safe for her to drive until we could get it to the dealership., where it was under warranty. JC was so helpful! He got us is in and out quickly!

Got an oil change a couple of weeks ago and they were quick. Went back yesterday and they were awesome again. Staff is very friendly. JC is the best. They always treat us good and their normally very quick

I looked at five places before i found Pep Boys to obtain and install a battery for my 2005 Buick. The staff was great. Took a bit longer than promised to get the battery to the shop. But an extra hour was fine After going to 5 places. Thanks Pep Boys.

I've been working on getting Ford F250 HD/All terrain tires. Rosie had found just what I needed for my truck on my budget and travel plans to northern Michigan Unfortunately I was unable to take advantage of her special deal of the day. Lucky for me "JC" was working when I finally got finished with an electrician working on a home issue. JC with calm and professional took his time to find me replaced tires for my trip. JC took care of everything from getting the tires to military discount for me. I'm very happy with the team work and attention to the customers. I'll continue to get tires from this Pep boys. Thank you

Alignment went well. I did some DIY repair after getting an alignment from them. I needed another and they upheld the warranty period on the alignment even though I did the front end work.

The manager and Tony went above and beyond the call of duty. My husband is not well and can not drive at this time. The manager, Rosita Pacheco, came to pick me up and took me to pick up my car. When our second car needed service, Tony, came and picked it up and brought the car back to us. I call them our 2 angels. It is difficult for older people like my husband and myself and Rosita and Tony made it possible for is to get our cars in working condition. We have been get service at Pep Boys for years and plan to continue. Thank you, Robitaille and Tony and God bless you both.
