I had an oil leak and the service department did a great job determining what it was. They gave me options for other things my car should have taken care of. I opted for all suggestions and am very pleased. I will be going here for oil changes from now on.

Sooo disappointed. I loved this location and it has always been my go to for car repairs and maintenance for YEARS but this time around was just unacceptable. I dropped off my car for diagnostic and picked it up to find a broken/busted window with no explanation, no accountability and no remedy or resolution for the fact that it happened while in their care!! Employee claims it happened unbeknownst to them, but considering that nothing was taken from my vehicle, mine was the only one damaged and there is apparently no security footage to purport their claims the whole thing is beyond sketchy. To add insult to injury, Ive reached out through advised channels per the owners response, several times and have had absolutely NO resolution whatsoever, onlythe run around of constantly being told that “someone will be in contact with me” and the matter has been “escalated”. No accountability whatsoever for the fact that i dropped off a vehicle for diagnostic and picked it up to them telling me the window shattered overnight. Not even so much as an offer to refund the cost of the diagnostic! If you dont want your vehicle carelessly damaged without proper remedy or explanation i suggest you try another location or company altogether.

The little front desk boy is very unhelpful and acted like I was interrupting his "chill time" They refused to check a part that they replaced without trying to charge a diagnostic for it again which is against their policy according to other locations. Beware, they're going to try to rip you off.

Exemplary service. The Pep Boys facility on Thousand Oaks Drive (San Antonio, Texas) diagnosed two problems on my 2017 Dodge Durango in an efficient & professional manner. One issue (electrical) was corrected by their in-house electrical systems technician, & the other problem turned out to be a non-issue that did not impede the function of the vehicle. They were honest about the status of both problems (thus saving me money). The three individuals I dealt with at this facility (Roland, Jesse & Jesus) were courteous, very knowledgeable, & friendly.

Horrible experience. Kept car for 24hrs to change 1 tire. Price was outrageous and could not answer why they charged more here than their other locations. I guess because my daughter dropped the car off, maybe I am a dad but I can’t not stand for women to be treated this way.

My car battery called it quits at 530 on a Sunday evening. I got to Pep Boys at like 5:50, 10 mins before they were scheduled to close. Instead of tiring me away or being annoyed that I was there just before closing, JC was super helpful and kind. They replaced my battery, without a complaint and had me rolling by like 615!! So grateful!!!

You guys are awesome 👏. I stopped at Pep Boys to have my tires checked out and in no time they were able to see that I had a nail in my tire. Lucky me they were able to repair my tire. They informed me that my brakes were really bad, that the rotors were metal think; which was a grinding noise that I had been hearing for a while. Since it was close to closing time, I made an appointment for the following day. I arrived at 3:15 pm and was out by 4:15. Very professional, and a reasonable price. Excellent AMAZING service! Mr. Roland was a lot of help! My dad usually helps will any problems I have with my car but he is now 6 hours away and Mr. Roland made me feel like home and figured out what was wrong with the car and it was fixed quickly! I highly recommend!

Of course my battery would quit on a Sunday. Went to this store and Roland was so nice. Even offered to get me a coffee while I was waiting. I guess he could tell I was stressed. I don’t live in San Antonio. Kind of upset as the last battery wasn’t correct for my car. Not good Pep Boys McAllen. I now have a battery that is right for my car.

The front desk was very patient. They were busy and had no openings, but somehow, they did preliminary diagnosis and gave me a decent time frame. They didn't have to help, but they did... They did find an issue with vehicle and told me they could get to it in the next couple days, which is OK. At least they gave me an idea. 6★

I called to get a quote from Jesus and he didn’t hesitate to give me one where other place wouldn’t do it. His quote by phone was exactly what I paid when job was done. Excellent service and trustworthy place to do business. I recommend them and Jesus for any job. I’m diffidently returning for next job.

I had a small nail in my front right side passenger tire. I took my vehicle to Pep Boys for repair. Roland was very nice and professional and the young man who patched the tire was extremely nice. This location is very clean and well maintained.

Was surprised with a completely free tire rotation with complimentary inspection. Will definitely be coming here again. Fast service, just make an appointment first hand, other wise it’s first come first serve.

My Recent appointment went really well. They completed an alignment analysis, and no repairs were needed. Also, a complete review of the front brakes was completed with the pads and rotors not needing to be replaced.
