Great service and very knowledgeable! Ben and the team serviced my vehicle in a timely manner. Car still was making noise when I picked it up, I called them back and they fixed the problem with no additional charge. Very trustworthy! Pep Boys was unable to fix my vehicle problem. They tried but were unsuccessful. I needed the speed sensor replaced on my 2011 Ford F150. After an unsuccessful attempt they admitted it was probably best to take it to the dealership to have it done which I appreciated and respected their honesty.

Scheduled an appointment to look over my exhaust. Once the warranty company i was using was mentioned everything changed and excuses started flowing from the gentleman working the front desk. Next time call the customer to save their time if you can't do simple bolt on exhaust work.

Customer service at Pep Boys on Bulverde used to mean something but not anymore. Normally, I just brush off a bad experience at a business but not this time. So, I make a second oil change appointment at Pep Boys for noon on Saturday (they didn't have any record of my first one at 9am). I show up on time, and the desk manager tells me it will be a little over an hour to complete the job. When I arrived a little over two hours to get my car, the manager tells me it's not ready. I ask him why and he tells me that he had five other cars come in and he had to take care of them first. I asked him, "what's the point of making an appointment, if you aren't going to honor that time? " He didn't have any answer, instead he just made excuses. Despite the poor answer, I was still going to let him do my oil change. Still a little upset, I asked him, "did it ever occur to you to call me and tell me that you were running behind schedule?" He said, "yes." Then I said, "over the course of two plus hours, why didn't you?" Once again, no rational explanation, just excuses. So, instead of apologizing and trying to work out a sensible solution for a customer who has been giving them my business over the past two years, he just said, "if you like, I can give you back your keys and you can go elsewhere." I said, okay, see ya later! Being in sales myself, I understand the value of good customer service, especially when you are wrong and you've obviously inconveninced the customer. This would have never happened under the old management because he (David) understood the importance of good customer service and taking care of your loyal customers. I don't recommend this Pep Boys location at all.

Went to get tire repaired (nail) tires & rotated and balanced three hours later tire was fixed but that's all took long time even with an appointment will not be taking my business there again.

Great experience, incredibly friendly and accommodating personnel. Spent the whole time speaking with the gentleman at the front desk. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone, especially military members who are new to the area and don't know where to go to get their vehicle serviced.

I have used this location for over 5 years. They have an all new service team and the new team did not seem as friendly or knowledgeable. The store manager was out on a family emergency. I think his absence left the store in a disarray. The store manager is easy to work with and I will be contacting him directly when he returns. I scheduled my appointment 4 days out for some extensive repairs. The shop clerk did not try to order parts in advance. Although I received the vehicle back in 1 day, several of the items that needed to address were not completed due to a lack of parts and experience from the techs. As I drove home I had to stop and leave my vehicle o. The side of the road because the coolant sprayed out all over the engine compartment. Will continue with review once I get in touch with the store manager and see how he is going to solve the issue.

This Pep Boys location is convenient to San Antonio North residents and Bulverde/Spring Branch residents. Not the most comfortable waiting area, but the manager and staff are truly considerate and helpful. They perform a great job.

Worst pep boys, they need new management. The other good review are lies. They don’t honor their hours of operation, the workers don’t care they will literally just lie straight to your face. Go down the street to Midas or any other shop cause theses people truly will screw you if are needing assistance.

i’m leaving three stars because this location failed to update Google maps about its hours. It also fail to update the booking schedule online. It allowed me to book a schedule on Sunday when they’re closed. I went to my appointment and it threw off my entire day after realizing that it was closed in a technologically advanced world this is unacceptable. Caused a lot of confusion for my pick up made me late to another appointment. Just a complete waste of my time.

As a Fleet customer, they took care to reschedule me when too busy to accommodate at the time of appointment. They are understaffed, as many facilities are these days, but made me feel valued as a customer. They were quick to change the oil and install tires ordered the previous day. Thank you for working with small crew and doing the best you can each day!

I had my car towed to this location after an emergency. I selected this location due to its proximity. However, after speaking to Devin I was very glad I did. He went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. His customer service was the very best. His kindness and care were so much appreciated. The prices are also very reasonable. Thank you for getting me out of a bind as I explained to Devin that this was my only mode of transportation so I had a Sense of urgency to have my vehicle as soon as possible, which he cared for immediately. Great Service

Don't do it. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person, but I know when my alternator is the source of the problem. All they had to do was replace the alternator, that's it, but they wouldn't do it based on their test deeming a $3000 job because it would "signal to corporate". It's too easy for me to replace all the other things listed; all I needed was the alternator replaced. Likewise, the customer service is non-existent. The dead-eye stare with no communication just leaves customers wondering what's going on. Do you want the keys? Do you want me to stick around until you make an assessment? I don't know because not a single word was spoken. But it's OK because I'm sure they didn't expect that I would just jump-start my car with a battery pack and take it somewhere else that would. Just because it came in on a tow truck doesn't mean it has to leave on one. Just avoid this place. I'm sure it'll go out of business anyway. With the growth happening around it and the minimal care that it puts into itself, that's evident based on the establishment itself.
