I went to Pep Boys because my front right tire was making alot of noise when breaking.  Tech stated rear pads needed to be replaced as well as a warped rotors. Replaced rear brake pads and rotors.  Picked up vehicle and attempted to drive to work. After getting on highway rear right tire started making horrible noise.  Immediately drove back to Pep Boys. Tech took me out to show me my tire saying he saw no visualable issues but that he did hear the horrible noise. He told me if id like to come back tomorrow the master tech will be there. I told him i did not feel comfortable leaving with the vehicle and said i needed uber home. Michael is  extremely professional and understanding. He then shook rotors saying "see" it's not lose. Then shook caliper which was not screwed in. Screw was completely missing. This is a not a simple mistake. It's 100% neglect and  the anxiety was absolutely horrible on drive back.  He then walked next door to get new screws and screwed back on. We did do test drive and at that time i heard no issues. I went to work after. During my shift i again expericed break issues. Thankfully caliper didn't fall off or i may have hurt myself or someone. Very disappointed!!! Next day horrible noise on front right tire again. Now pep boys told me it was the cv axel. The claimed they did full inspection but failed to notice cv axel leaking grease. Replaced cv axel Noise still there. Do not go to Pep Boys for break issues. Spent over $1,200 and still not resolved.

Very easy to make an appointment online for the next day. Everyone was nice and thorough. They explained exactly what needed to be done and gave accurate quotes. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Has a cheap budget rental located inside Update: this rental is the opposite of my last rental. I have been waiting for 40 minutes to pick up a truck I had a reservation for at 10 am. Still no one has come to the counter to assist me. I am standing here as I write this. The phone has rang with other people looking for who I assume is the name Deborah because that's who they asked for when I answered the phone.

Took my vehicle there on a Sunday morning without an appointment after having a nightmare at a different shop the day before. Michael was super friendly and they fit me in during the day and took care of the issue with a reasonable fee. I would recommend making an appointment but it is not necessary or required but I am really happy with everyone encountered there and will be back.

My daughter Andrea Soto bought life alignment deal few years ago. She has getting this service in different places like Houston, Austin and Mcallen. Her car is a Toyota Corolla 2017. And She needs this service now in San Antonio. Surprise Pep Boys does not have any record on the system. And now She can not do anything. This is really frustrated, because this is Pep Boys issue. She has to pay for alignment again. Can you believe that? Finally, She has to call to customer service and try to find a solution. But, She has not receive any information about this matter.

Took my truck in for brake inspection due to noise. I got excellent customer service! Ryan was very professional and thorough with inspection results. His repair estimate was very reasonable. It was so reasonable that I decided to get a complete brake job at a fair price. Extremely great service!

Absolutely outstanding service! I needed an oil change and tire rotation. Jake greeted me early on a Saturday morning, told me how long it would take and the cost. I went for a walk run, came back and Gonzalo had just finished the maintenance. I always look for a place I can call the only spot for these kinds of services and I am glad I found this place. I will continue to come here. Thanks guys!

Called on a Sunday, dropped off my vehicle at 9:30am and job was completed by 11:30am… same day service is one of the reasons i go with Pep Boys. excellent customer service

Nothing is wrong with the staff but why do you post tires online that's available but don't have it in stock at the store? Whats the point of me choosing a tire and an appointment if you don't have the tire in stock. Waste of my time.

We take our cars to Pep Boys for all of our maintenance and small repair work, new tire installations, A/C check and recharge, windshield sprayer and wiper repairs, head light lens rejuvenation, etc. We have three cars of different makes. They have done an excellent job of doing the work at reasonable cost. Their staff is professional and courteous. I strongly recommend them.

I made an appointment online for an 8am Saturday morning. My car needed a battery check and ultimately, a replacement. I was in and out by 8:30, new battery installed. Waiting room was clean and comfortable.

If they had a negative number i would definitely give them that, this is the PEPboys on Bandera. For a replacement hose in my air conditioner in car to take 6 hours plus is unacceptable. I even made an appointment at 8 AM, from what I could see there were a hand full of customers in the 6 hours plus, so far, I’m still here waited. I felt the more I asked how much longer, the more time was added. I am paying off their credit card and never coming back to any of the PepBoys. I know some of these part are time intensive but an all day is ridiculous. I am still here in the shop waiting while I write this review, so it could possibly be longer. Don’t do what I did, and give them your business, it’s not work it. Don’t expect any empathy from the employees, it will just upset you more. I am scared to get my care back and it’s worst or doesn’t work like it should. The killer is I am paying all that money. NEVER AGAIN! PEPBoys keep in mind, word of mouth goes a long ways you should do better!
