I had an appointment at 10am just to install 4 tires, they said it would be done by 1 and never notified me of any updates. I finally showed up at 6 and everyone was standing around with my vehicle unattended. I didn't get it back until 730, 30min after closing. The rep claimed they had a hard time putting the tires on the rim. Worst experience I've ever had.

Last Monday I went for an oil change and couldn’t be seen that day and had to make an appointment for Wednesday which was fine. I go back Wednesday and the big black guy at the front desk said they won’t do the oil change because my car was dirty. I waited 2 days for my appointment just to be denied all because of a dirty car, they could have just put plastic on the seats I don’t see what the big deal was. Also there not very friendly and a bit rude and also there’s no waiting room or chairs to sit down. I won’t be going back there I’ll go back to going to jiffy lube again their much more professional.

The person at check in desk said he had to check if they had the correct oil filter (I made the appointment two weeks prior) I asked why wouldn’t you have the correct part, he sayed because my car was a European car ( Volkswagen) and people shouldn’t buy European cars because the parts were hard to find. Who says that to customers? The waiting area was extremely filthy, the tall trash can was overflowing and fast onto the floor the whole area was filthy. Pictures depicting the new lounge have been posted for over two years now! You have to walk through the entire storage space (including the tires) just to get to the bathroom which was horrifying absolutely disgusting the toilet hadn’t been cleaned for at least 2 years same as the sink, wet soggy toilet paper roll on the back of the toilet, floor filthy, I turned around and walked out. After this incident I will no longer be using this pep boys!

The website shows December 25th as available where as the whole world is closed for christhmas and it gives an option to book service. Overpriced. Took a long time for an oil change and took almost double the time than promised

Title: Superb Service at Pep Boys on Magnolia in Riverside! My recent experience at Pep Boys on Magnolia in Riverside was truly exceptional. From start to finish, the communication was outstanding. They kept me informed every step of the way, even sending pictures of my brake condition and providing helpful video clips about brake maintenance. Store Manager, Mr. Bryant Smith, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel like a valued customer/family. Technician Justin was highly professional and ensured that only Audi-recommended parts and products were used for my brake repairs (the rotors needed to be replaced) and an oil change. The pricing at Pep Boys was significantly more affordable compared to the Audi dealership, which was a major plus and I appreciated that the repairs were completed within the time slot estimated for the service. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the quality of service I received and highly recommend Pep Boys on Magnolia in Riverside, CA to anyone in need of car maintenance.

Bryant worked hard to find a radiator hose we needed that was on backorder from the dealer. He even stayed late so we could pick up our car the same day and be able to go on our Thanksgiving road trip. Very satisfied with the whole experience!

I called to check if they can replace the coolant fluid. They said yes they can do it. I wanted to check if they are using the right fluid. The guy was very rude and said that if I wanted to bring it in just bring it in and did not even tell me what kind of fluid will they use.

I went to pep boys in riverside to do a brake change and while they were taking off the wheels to inspect the brakes I saw the technician trying to take off one of the lugs and the whole wheel spun then he did it again and the same thing happened until he decided to hold the wheel with one hand and use the impact gun with the other and that is when the lug nut came off with the stud still in it and the tech said oh shit I didn’t realize that until after 5 minutes when they told me the lug nut was cross threaded onto the stud and it broke off then I am trying to talk it out with them and I said please tell your manager to give me a call (because he wasn’t in yesterday) then they said no I’m not going to text him it is his day off and I then told him I need to talk to the manager and he said come on Wednesday and they kept refusing to call the manager for an hour and they are refusing to replace it for me only under my dime but I didn’t do any damages.

STAY AWAY from this location! They will add and add and add and continue adding more to your bill, even without your approval! I took my car in for an oil change. After an hour I received a phone call stating that the cap to my oil filter had been so tight that it started leaking and it broke off damaging it which if I wanted to continue with the oil change I would need to replace it. Never offering me any other consolation other than my only option is to pay for a brand new oil cap filter or the oil change couldn’t continue! There are so many discrepancies here. For one how convenient that it was after the fact, 2- I had to have it replaced or else they couldn’t continue with the oil change. Never again am I going to this location!

They deserve a zero star do not go to this place. They blamed my car for eating oil and what they it was put a washer on my oil pan drain plug and that’s where it leaked oil if they would’ve tightened it or used a longer drain plug it wouldn’t of leaked. They wanted to charge me for another oil change now I have possible motor damage. They need to be shut down. Do not go here.

very happy with the car service I receive from this outfit. I have both my cars serviced here for mechanical issues, big or small. Its hard to find a reliable mechanic and PepBoys in Riverside is mine!
