I truly enjoy the young lady..plus workers there..they show respect..they fully explain to a person the reason..this or that happen..and truly work with you money wise..also you receive a full report in details what was done to your ride. The prices..they show detail photos..and pin point the area thats being worked upond. Also they show plus explain what else need done to your ride...I appreciate all they done for my person..before leaving..I'm more aware as too..what must be done to improve the life of my ride..would tell anyone I know.. Go too Pep Boys..they take care we as people.I trust their jugdement..and now realize where to carry my ride...and leave with a 😃...truth..Reggie C

Although they do good work, they didn't repair everything I asked them to. The young woman who answers the phone has a major attitude. She obviously hates her job and wants to take it out on everybody else, including customers.

I arrived at Pep Boys on Laburnum midday on a Saturday and needed an alternator on my car. They informed me that they couldn’t fit me in that day, but they could on Monday. I explained that my vehicle would probably cut off if I left. So I sat in my car, and the entire staff worked to find a solution for me. They walked to my car and told me they could fit me in. The mechanic tech Travis said he would stay later if needed to do the install. I would like to send a special thank you to all of them. If I ever need any other repairs, I will be bringing my car to you guys. Thanks so much! L. Jones

My car issue was taken very seriously, and I was treated with care and respect... Not just a person that had to pay them money. Issue was discussed in detail and they made sure it was resolved, and I was totally satisfied. They cared enough to build a lasting trust, and gave me options. I would recommend their service to anyone, especially if not treated fairly by other companies, and I will continue to use their services.

Do not go to Pep Boys on nine mile road! I came in for an inspection and left out with a missing hub cap! I did a walk around like I always do when I take any car in for any kind of service. My hub cap was on. The service tech was lying about how it was already missing then he went back and whispered something to the other tech.This whole time I was watching them and they became nervous when they seen me staring at them. I asked to see the footage on their camera but all of a sudden they don't know how to check the camera. My self and my daughter have been coming here for years. It is disappointing that my granddaughters first experience at a car shop was upsetting to say the least. Pep boys just lost three generations of customers!

Had an issue with a tire losing pressure slowly. After inspecting it saw a piece of metal stuck in my tire. Made an appt here and my husband took it to get plugged. Unfortunately he told me that they had taken it off and done a leak test and could not find a problem. Wasted 2 hours and still needs to be fixed. Well once he got home- I took a picture of the metal stuck in the tire. Which was of course still there. I called and was told “sorry, you can bring it back”. Not sure how 3 people “checked” the tire and could not see it. Will not be returning to pep boys.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your facility today. Despite scheduling an appointment around five days in advance, your team was unable to locate my appointment when I called to confirm. I was then informed that I would have to wait approximately two hours for a walk-in appointment. However, after waiting for nearly seven hours, I received a call stating that your team was unable to perform the oil change due to an unusual sound emanating from my vehicle. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I received, particularly given the significant delay and lack of communication. As my vehicle is in urgent need of an oil change.

I made an appointment for an oil change at 11:30am, I arrived 10 minutes earlier and at 12:17pm they said that maybe is going to take another hour to start with my car ! That is not respectful at all.

If you come here be sure that they give you papers saving when your next service is. My oil change light came on then my car started acting funny brought to they they said that my oil was suppose to been be changed how would I know if you didn’t give me a next service sticker or paper

Travis and Keyah were very welcoming and informative about tires. On top their great customer service we laughed and joked. Travis helped me with financing options which was very clutch, especially during the holidays. If you need tires etc I'd recommend stopping by here. I am very big on customer service. So this was a great experience. Thanks team all of them are a funny and pretty down to earth.

They did use my online reservation so I had to provide all information. I went in for a headlight that took almost 2 hours for them to do despite having the first appointment of the day. Then when my car was finally ready and parked out front they were rude when I asked if I could check out and made me wait so they could just chit chat at the front desk.

i went in for my scheduled appointment at 10am and was told they were "too busy" and i'd have to leave my car. when i explained i was unable to leave my car i was told to come back later in the day. i came back and then waited 2.5 hours for my new tire installation. during the installation the tech broke my pressure sensor off my tire. after that, he was unable to have my pressure read in any other of the 3 tires and my tire pressure light on the dashboard wouldn't shut off. he told me to come back the next day and another tech would fix it and it "wouldn't take as long as this time". came back the next morning. two hours later, they couldn't find the problem and i was then told to go to the toyota dealership to have diagnostic test ran. when i got upset because now i have a problem that i didn't have prior, nor do i have the time with my work schedule to continue dealing with this they responded "well it's not like we're asking you to pay for anything" the only good experience i've had is when toyota called them to get the payment they were willing to pay for the problem.

My experience was so good. I made an appointment for an oil change. My appointment was at 1. I was done way before 2. The customer service was great. Brian, Travis and Tia are great.

The manager, Travis, was incredibly helpful and hospitable to us when we had an emergency flat tire. The team works hard and really tries to get things done in an appropriate and timely manner. If you are in need of tires or tire repair, definitely go here!

BEWARE OF SCAM! Went in with a flat tire. Dan told us there were 4 punctures in the tire. He marked them and told us the tire could not be repaired, because one puncture was too close to sidewall. He offered to sell us a new tire for $320. We went to another tire shop just down the road. They showed us that 3 of the "punctures" Dan marked were just pebbles. They plugged the one actual puncture for $15.

My experience at Pepboys was amazing. I went in for an oil change on my lunch break and the guys did a great job and had me out on time. I will be returning in the future. I wish I knew the gentleman’s name who helped me at the counter and the young man who did my oil change. It’s so refreshing to see genuine customer service. GREAT JOB!!!!!

The Pep Boys staff were great. I drove in with a flat tire already assuming I needed at least 1 new tire. They advised me to let them try to fix it before discussing purchasing tires. Turned out I did need to replace the tire due to location of the nail, however, I was told my other 3 tires are in good condition. I drove away feeling very satisfied with the service and plan on returning when needed.

Worst place to get fix your car or at least never bring your car for State Inspection here. I brought my car here to get copy of the paper from state inspection, and they told me that my sticker was fake, something that really suprise me due i just bought the car 1 month ago from a dealership. So i was hurry to get the state inspection done so i can use my car for uber/Lyft rides, i told them do it again, so they come back to me with my car didnt pass the inspection due all rear brakes were really bad. I went to the State Police and they told me inspecion was good, they gave the paper that I need it. So the Pep boys technician was lying to me, so they lie to me saying that my car sticker was fake, how can I believe my brakes are bad. So this is the next stop, get my car inspected again for another technician, so i can figure out if they just were trying to steal my money. So I really recomend to everybody never go the Pep boys in Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA.
