The worst experience I ever had let me tell you I just moved here a few weeks ago came about a week ago they charge me 1000 for some stuff they made up I fixed it came back 2 days ago because my axel broke out of no where so they did a service check it came up too 2187.31 and that for an axel and to lower control arms they are very rude young and just careless to my time of service never really in a good mood and always hearing people complain please if you go no what you are going for

I made an appointment for a serpentine belt change and was given a date and time to arrive. When I got there I was informed that there were no technicians to complete the job. They never called me to inform me of this or made any effort to service my truck or find another location that could.

Terrible experience. Made appointment for 8am to have oil change and PM on vehicle. Asked them to check window on drivers side. They took 9 hours to do an oil change and sell two tires. Did not diagnose window issue. 9 hours with an appointment! Pretty sure they didn’t even start it until late afternoon.

UPDATED: I had to go back to get a tire replacement under my road hazard warranty. The shop was understaffed and it took over 2 hours to replace a tire that was at the shop already. As with most repair shops, the prices for parts and repairs is exaggerated. They charge you to figure out the problem but do not fold that cost into the cost of actually fixing it. I do feel they tried to "get over on me" because I'm a woman. Nothing seems urgent to them. My car was ready for 15 minutes and no one said anything to me. I had to go to the desk and ask.

BUYER BEWARE ... I would not go near any of the Pep Boys Locations again ... I went into one to have a car checked because most shops are closed Sundays. Their business model of ripping customers off was revealed by their own front desk staff ... This lady was irate complaining loudly that she has been made to replace everything in the past 4 months. In a recent repair, she spent $1600, including a tune-up in the past few months. During today's service, the Tech put in her work order to ... REPLACE SPARK PLUGS. When she went to her trunk to bring all the work orders and charges and showed her, the front desk staff pulled out several customer work orders and showed her that the Tech put the same thing on every other car repaired. WoW ... so Pep Boys would tell unsuspecting customers to replace parts without even checking. The lady was upset because this was not a suggested recommendation but noted that repairs were needed. She probably would have ordered the repairs if she had not done a recent tune-up. I was offended that they also tried to make a fool of her ... The Tech positioned himself so that the lady was backing the front desk staff and she was gesturing with her hands to the tech about what to say to deflect the complaints of this ripped-off lady. Very disappointed that this place treats its clients as fools and puns to be taken advantage of.

I recently stopped by to have my tire patched, and the entire team was amazing from the moment I walked in, until I left. Hailey and Jake were especially helpful even though everyone I came contact with was amazing!

Very professional business from the front counter to the employees in the shop. I could not have been more pleased with the service. I had 4 new tires done, and Justin, the tech, was so friendly and very knowledgeable. I will be taking my car to them from now on.

Horrible horrible place. The people at the service desk will rip you off and do not care about their customers or employees. WATCH OUT!! Especially if you have a car either a rental like hertz or enterprise! THEY DO WORK THAT IS NOT NEEDED ON VEHICLES!! Especially on hertz vehicles. HERTZ and All Other rentals and regular customers, DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Manager will lie to your face, try to fast talk you and make it seem like it's you. All while recommending things that are not needed. DO NOT BRING ANY VEHICLES HERE

The folks at the Pep Boys on Capital Blvd are the best! They repaired previous work done at the Triangle Town Center location that was done incorrectly ( plugging a tire). They repaired my tire properly and spoke with the manager at the other store to let her know what happened and secured me a refund for the work done incorrectly. The Capital Blvd team are professionals and really care about providing outstanding customer service! I will be going back and recommend them to anyone looking for fair and honest auto repai and service. Thanks again for all you did!

They are so helpful here! All I needed was a state inspection so I went to the Jiffy Lube across the street...I was told that the individual who completes inspections was on break and that I should come back tomorrow. A bit strange but I'm not even going to pretend to understand this industry so I just looked up the nearest alternative and BOOM, Pep Boys came up right across the street. I just bought a house minutes away so they have gained a customer for life. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Thank you Pep Boys!

Got tires and alignment on August 27. Discovered damaged rim while washing vehicle next day. Pep Boys had it repaired at Auto Recon Pros. On September 26 had NC inspection done at BMW of Raleigh, 29 miles of driving later, all four wheels out of alignment. Back at Pep Boys getting another alignment. Michele at front desk very professional and helpful, but technicians seem questionable. Had new alignment finished within one hour. Given alignment report( none provided with initial alignment). I’m satisfied that I’ve been treated fairly, although not impressed with having to deal with getting rim repairs and proper alignment. I’d not known about that if I hadn’t had the vehicle into BMW of Raleigh.

I made an appointment for an inspection. When I walked in, I was ignored. When I told them I had an appointment, they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. When I asked how long it would take, they only would tell me "not long" It took over an hour for a simple safety check. Front desk was gruff and rude. The waiting room is disgusting. Chairs are all torn up, it's cramped and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the store was opened. Would not recommend.

I stopped in today on my way home from work cause I noticed my tmps light was on. The guy at the front checked it to make sure there wasn't a nail or something in it. He had a tech check the air and it was low. They put air in it for me and I was out the door. They were nice and helpful! I'd come back for repairs if needed! (: Thank you!

Had an oil change and tire rotation. Upon getting the car back I checked the tires (which I had marked) and they were not rotated. Now I have questions whether the oil change was done (I hope so).

These people are the worst. I went there on 08/21/24 to get an estimate for installation of a camshaft position sensor and oxygen sensor. I didn't mind the wait because they were clearly understaffed. But when I got my estimate they wanted 1,000.00 for installation. The service tech couldn't find on the computer what a camshaft position sensor was. Then I was told by the manager that I should take my car to a mechanic that specializes in imports. The mechanic that usually does the work was able to provide me a quote for nearly half their price. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!!

Went in to get a tire patch, and I waited much longer than told it would be. Finally got my truck, and now I either have a broken sensor, or they just dont care about proper tire inflation. Also, when a person says they are in a rush, it is not the time to take the vehicle for a test drive down the road.
