I would not recommend this location for vehicle service. After dropping off my car for a simple service, I noticed something was off upon receiving it, but I initially dismissed my concerns. Unfortunately, the vehicle's performance deteriorated significantly afterward, leading me to take it to the dealership, where I discovered that I am now facing double the costs for repairs. This experience has taught me that trying to save money in the short term can result in greater expenses down the line. However, I must acknowledge that the manager was helpful and courteous during my interactions.

The man who assisted me at the counter and over the phone was exceptionally kind and didn't make me feel pressured into anything other than what I needed, which I really appreciate especially as a woman. Car service with men can be absolutely atrocious.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE PEPBOYS ON ARAMINGO AVE. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME READ THE REVIEWS. I TOOK MY CAR IN BECAUSE THE ENGINE LIGHTS CAME ON THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE AIR MASS SENSOR, SO I PAID TO FIX IT. ON MY WAY HOME, ALL THE LIGHTS CAME ON THE Dashboard LIKE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. I CALLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY TO TOW THE CAR BACK TO PEPBOYS. COME TO FIND OUT THEY PUT A Refurbished part in my car, AND MY CAR rejected it like a transplant. PLEASE DONT TRY YOUR LUCK WITH THEM. PEPBOYS PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO MY REVIEW ON HOW YOU CAN MAKE IT BETTER.

I had my car towed there to repair power steering problem. There was no power steering. My son picked it up this morning and told me power steering was still not working. I took it back this afternoon and the manager started telling me that something else might have broken between the time my son picked up the car and now. I asked him how the mechanic could drive the car out of the garage and not notice there was no power steering. He told me it might be a defect pump, maybe air in the lines. I asked again how could the mechanic not notice that driving the car out of the garage. He then told me something else might be wrong with the car. There was nothing wrong with the car when I had it brought in. It just sounded like a lot of BS. He said he would look at it. I asked him to take the $1500 I paid off the credit card until it was fixed. He said “ I don’t give back refunds. “ He then handed me my key and told me “ your done, I humored you long enough. He refused to work on the car. Mike was the mechanic who worked the car. I filed a police report and will dispute the credit card charges. I’m 100% sure only thing wrong with the car was the power steering since there was power steering fluid all over the street. All I wanted was to get the car fixed. Also was sent picture with diagnostic information. When we called to see if car was ready they couldn’t find the car. After going back and forth they found the “paperwork on the desk under some other papers. Jose was supposed to price out the parts but got busy doing something else “. Call the next day and was told the “master mechanic isn’t in today, it should be ready tomorrow “. Since Mike worked on the car since it was brought to the shop, it he the “master mechanic”. ?Ps : I paid $119.12 for warranty. And the manger gives me back the keys and tells me to “ get out of the store “ !! I’m 69 years old. Don’t piss on me and tell me it’s raining.

I made a 1 pm appointment for a routine oil change, showed up 10 minutes early, and by 3:38 pm I hadn’t received any updates, so I called only to learn that they hadn’t even started on my car yet. Their reasoning was that even though I made an appointment “other people make appointments too” and there was 10 cars in front of me. When I dropped off my car, the gentleman at the desk did not give me an estimate on how long it would take, or any other information/expectation (I could have walked home instead of sitting at Starbucks all afternoon). Instead, when I called, I was met with “have you ever been to this Pep Boys before? We’re very busy”. So I guess this is their normal standard that they’re fine with, and you should only come here if you don’t mind appointment times that don’t mean much at all and have 3-4 hours to spend waiting around for an oil change.

I took my car in for an oil change and a tire rotation/inflation (my tires needed 33 psi and my back left tire was 26, the others were around 30) on Friday with an appointment. When I picked up the car, I saw that I still had the low tire light on and just thought they forgot to fill it up, but my maintenance light for tire rotation was off. On Saturday night I realized the low tire light was still marked for my back left tire, which tells me the tires were not rotated and that they just reset the maintenance light. Some scuff marks allowed me to easily see that the tires were still in their same positions. I called on Monday and was told to bring my car back in Tuesday to get the rotation/inflation. I dropped it off Tuesday and picked it up 5 hours later just to see that the back left tire is still 26 psi. However for some reason they inflated my front right tire to 45 psi and left the other two at 30. So after bringing my car in for a tire rotation twice (and paying twice), I believe they still have not rotated my tires. So those 8 total hours my car was with Pep Boys was wasted and now I need to find a different place to try a 3rd time to get my tires rotated, and I will need to check to see if they even changed the oil or just turned off the maintenance light like they did for the tires.

When I dropped my vehicle off there were three people literally sitting around but told me they wouldn’t have mine done until end of day because they still had three other cars to do. After hours of no update I called to see where my car stood. Here the mechanics all left already stating they cant do my tires/oil because the lift broke. No excuse why I was not told and my car was just sitting there. Then they helped me reschedule my appointment. When I took it in again they had no idea about my appointment even though I had a confirmation number. I was told it would be ready by end of day again. After hours of no update, I called again to hear my car was ready. Again. Why am I not getting an update. When I picked up my car they tried to charge me $800 for what should have been $440. It took a solid ten minutes for them to sort it out just for me to find out they only did my tires and did not even complete my oil change. Also they were very sloppy with putting my brand new tires on, there is white paste all over them and they look a mess. Brand nee tires should look nice a NEW not destroyed. This place is horrible. My boyfriend tried to go here for his car a couple years ago and after three days they still didn’t get his oil change done. Simplest thing and they kept holding the car.

Avoid at all costs. I don't know what these people do here. Called and made appt yesterday. Arrived and they said no appt was made. Only need new windshield wipers which they had to order out for. Took 5 hrs. I keep torturing myself by going here bc it's close but honestly it's not worth it. AVOID AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Car was dropped off for a diagnostic. I called 5 hours later just before they close and the guy puts me on hold for 10 minutes and then says "Well, the mechanic thinks it's probably the battery. It'll cost $550." The text message status tracker never showed a mechanic even assigned or any work completed other than the "Free inspection" that advised I need new windshield wipers. Cool. When I went in to settle up the diagnostic cost I asked for something showing what tests were done and what the results were. He couldn't show me. I asked him flat out, how do I know you did any work on my car and it didn't just sit here all day until I called and then you charged me $110? He walked me over to the OBD scanner to pull up the test details and he couldn't find anything and alluded to the fact that the diagnostic wasn't actually done. Then he said he couldn't refund me the diagnostic cost because his manager was out for the week. He then offered to have me bring my car back for a full diagnostic at no cost... which is precisely what I had dropped it off to be completed and what I was just charged for. This isn't bad customer service, this is robbery. I was charged for services that weren't performed and was then upsold on a battery that may or may not even be the solution to the problem.

I went to have my oil leak fixed which took 3 to 4 hrs long. Left and picked up my car the next day. The trouble started when I took my car back after paying over 700.00 to get my oil pan changed. I kept hearing a revving noise that my car had not made when I took it there. I was told that if my car went back to the shop and what was wrong was not covered by the warranty, I would have to pay over 100.00 and pay to get it fixed. What I found out is I have an exhaust leak that was not there when I took it in to get my oil leak fixed. I had a choice: either let them look at it again and if it had something to do with the oil, fine; if not, you would have to pay more money. Now I just gave them over 700.00 you mean to tell me you could not look without charging me even though I brought the car right back. I am so disappointed. Also, the mechanics were back there talking, laughing, and playing around with each other, cussing, and very unprofessional. I am a disabled person and the fact that I had to leave and come back. When the mechanic came and looked at my car, he heard the noise and started naming 99 things that could be wrong, when one of my church members who fix cars knew exactly what was wrong without seeing my car. They moved or hit something and did not want to own up to it. Now I have an exhaust leak I already gave them over 700.00. My Church member looked at my invoice and said they charged me twice for oil and found other discrepancies on my receipt. I really would like to resolve this unfortunate situation with Pep Boys covering the expense of having to get my exhaust leak fixed, that they damaged.

Took a flat there that torn the side inner wall of the tire. Of course had to get new tire to replace the tire I only got about 5 months ago. Guys there were very professional, Eric was the service advisor that waited on me

Never going here again. I had a 12:00 appointment booked to get my tires changed, which I arrived 5 mins early for. When I got there, they said they didn't have 2 of the tires in stock even though it said in stock online when I set up the appointment and ordered the tires. While they were trying to sort this out only 1 other customer came in so it's not like they were swamped. The guy didnt know to work the computer and it wasn't until 12:45 that they actually sorted it out and sent someone to another store to pick them up which they said was only 10 mins away. No one wanted to be the one to go pick them up and they didnt end up getting them until 2:19pm. It took them another 22 minutes after the tires got in before they even started working on my car. I gave them a heads up that there were wheel spacers on so they wouldn't drop them when taking the wheel off, and they still ended up dropping one of them. During this whole time, one of the employees took an hour long nap right in front of me. They also suggested that I not use the online system to set up an appointment and to just call the shop instead. If you don't want your customers to use the online system then it shouldn't be available. I took two hours off work thinking that was more than enough time to get a scheduled appointment done. I didnt end up leaving until 3:20. Horrible experience, would give 0 stars if it was possible.

The Guys were efficient, determined, and kind. Didn’t stop until my tires were taken off and new ones put on. They had a very hard time taking the lugs off. But got the job done . Thanks To Pep Boys, Men

Took my car in for an inspection and tire needed to be replaced. Went from taking 4 hours to 3 days, and didn’t even notice the broken tail light that the cop gave me a ticket for even after I mentioned it 3 times…quality and professionalism is a real concern.

Very easy process to get an appointment and great communication throughout my service. As a female it is easy to get ripped off at mechanics and I can happily report that I did not and was treated with respect. Will come back again!
