I made an appointment online for first thing in the morning and got an email confirmation for my appointment they opened late the associate kept telling me I had to confirm the appointment over the phone even though I had an email confirmation and that there wasn't a 100% chance I'd get my car seen when I make an appointment but also said the mechanic doesn't come in for another hour so why have an appointment if they don't acknowledge it? Why confirm the appointment if it's not actually confirmed? Why even have an appointment available but not even have a mechanic there to service the vehicle or even be open when the appointment is supposed to be?

If i can get the place zero stars i would have. No professional experience with vehicles whatsoever @dmv MUST take their inspection certificate out this place. They use anything to make you replace stuff for money to give you the inspection. They say my four tires need to be replaced as they are a threat, well my tires were just changed few months ago. They say they wipers need to be changed, i would say that they cracked it from top a little bit then sent me a picture. Attention to everyone, please report to the state the abuse of power they are taking to make money out of nothing because they have state inspection certificates !!!

I had my oil changed here. The staff was helpful and suggested a coupon on the PepBoys website, which saved me money. I did have to leave my car and come back later, so I do not recommend if you're trying to drive up and have service done while you wait, unless you schedule in advance.

This is my 2nd time taking my car in for service which included an oil change my wait wasn’t long at all I had a great experience staff was pretty nice and welcoming and was very concerned about the needs for my vehicle I will definitely be back.

Had a great experience! Went in thinking I needed a new tire and Troy was helpful telling me I only needed to repair the valve on my tire. Will be back for all future services!

The service worker was rude and curt. The assistant manager could not answer my questions and was on a personal call while I was asking questions. Extremely unprofessional and rude. They left my car documents from the glove compartment strewn on the floor of my car. Overall the customer service was terrible.

Worst store, bad customer service, unprofessional , longest wait , 5 hours for just oil change. Manager is creepy looking at people , bad attitude, why would you take off tires to get oil change done. Mechanics don’t really do the job well and wasting a lot time for people. Like we got all day for just oil change. Missed all my appointments because of oil change. And not just that they have a baddd bad attitude like I owe them something not that i pay to get done my things. Wouldn’t recommend it at all. If I can take the one star off I will and I cannot take pictures to prove because this is not my thing to do but what I think you should do is either close the store or change the whole staff and system. And sorry for saying to much but sitting for 5 hours is too much as well I have back problems and other things to do.

I had a very bad experience here. The manager Raul installed wrong tires. When I came back to point this out, he tried to deny it for 45 minutes, hoping to get away with it. This is deceptive, unprofessional and unacceptable. It cost me most of the day to deal with. They also did an inspection which was full or errors, including giving a tire pressure of 42 psi for each tire, even though one was almost flat. I would not trust their work at all and recommend going elsewhere. The area manager which we involved did give us a full refund which we appreciate.

Came in to inquire about tune-up and oil change service and was condescended to for five minutes- the attendant was rude and when I confronted him about his attitude he pointed to the door.

The people were friendly and the prices were reasonable, but the place was so tremendously understaffed that having a tire changed took over **4 hours** on a weekday. Definitely don't recommend waiting for any service to be done here, unless you have the ENTIRE day to waste - drop it off and pick it back up if you're at all able to. This place needs to hire more people if they want to keep functioning.

They instructed me that I needed my front brakes done bc they were scratching metal to metal. I pay $500 to get them done, but when I pull off I notice my brakes are still scratching. I take it back they look at it again, tell me it’s actually my back brakes that need to be done and it basically going to be another $575. Management had no sympathy whatsoever(think his name is Andre) and said pay or leave even though they TOLD me to get my front brakes done. Very unprofessional and I was essentially robbed because my back brakes were the real problem but they didn’t say anything until I already paid, and obviously no refund.

This location just DESTROYED my sister’s car! The heat and charging ports don’t work, the steering wheel is shaking and the car interior is covered in black oil and soot. I’ve never seen anything like it. Don’t bring your vehicles here!!

Unrelated to Automotive maintenance, I stopped by this establishment to use the bathroom. I wanted to be dignified and not urinate outside but I was refused to use the bathroom. It tells you a lot about a company when they do not have the courtesy to allow someone who is practically about to urinate on themselves to use the bathroom. I recommend not supporting businesses like this.

I brought my car in multiple times only to be told the mechanic had left early for the day or was on site but was unable to service my vehicle. I tried calling in advance and making appointments, but this did not solve the issue. When the mechanic was finally available (on my 5th visit) I was told there would not be any guarantees my tire could be patched the same day.

This Pep boys did not keep me informed about the work. They ordered the wrong part, but did not let me know. So a job that should be 1 day is over a week and not completed

This used to be my go-to, out of convenience, a decade ago. Getting the service right was almost always a chore, but I was willing to put in time to challenge the nonsense I sometimes got, so I made it work. Fast forward to this weekend, I realized I needed an inspection, and everyone else was closed, so I reluctantly called PB North Broad. Andre introduces himself, and immediately I think... This guy talks a good talk. He's very clear about availability and expectations, so I drop my van off. The whole area has changed and so has this Pep Boys. No one's looking stressed, Andre is cool as a cucumber, and tells me he'll call before any work needs to be done. The next day, I get text updates with pictures! And it's no BS. I even see if he'll try and upsell me on brakes that I know I don't need yet, and he gave a very informed and honest answer. Genuinely impressed! I wish I could still walk here from home in five minutes like I used to, but maybe I'll make the trip on SEPTA next time.

I called to get an inspection, they say come in by four and make an appointment online. I made an appointment, and drove out of my way to come in. The refused to service me, saying it’s first come first serve, even though they told me to make an appointment. Apparently someone elses care failed, so that means I don’t get inspected. They said come tomorrow morning. I’m a teacher so this was my only time. Why didn’t they tell me I my appointment was cancelled? No Idea.

I dropped off my car for an 8 AM appt to get new tires put on, but no one even touched my car until after 11AM. It was difficult to get any information from staff about when my car would be done. When I finally came back to get my car around 3 PM (almost 7 hrs later), one of my tires was missing a lug nut. I asked the staff to please find it or tell me what had happened, and a staff accused me of being “crazy.” While my experience wasn’t ideal, the staff did a completely adequate job replacing the tires and packing up the old tires, and for that I am appreciative. I would recommend this facility for only emergency/last second situations.
