Pep boys as a company is usually a hit or miss for me but this specific location exceeded my expectations. I was VERY overdue for an oil change and called another pepboys near my job (Hatboro, Pa) to see if they had time to do a quick oil change today. It was stated that they were extremely busy and could schedule me on Monday… 3 days later tsk tsk. When I called this location I was greeted by a very polite and professional gentleman, and was told to bring it in and they’ll take care of me, I think his name was Alex. The two other employees that he interacted with were also very friendly. The oil change went smooth, available discounts were applied, communication was clear throughout the process and I was able to have my peace of mind again. Would definitely recommend this location.

The people at this pep boys are great. They are kind patient and explained everything well. Especially the person named Devonte. He really went out of his way to help me.

Whole staff for the duration i have been coming to this location, which is at least the last 6-7 years, ALWAYS takes care of me and my vehicle with no bs and explains any and everything to me regarding whatever work was done or is needed.. Until given a reason to go elsewhere I will continue with getting service thru this facility.. And fk Chapman Ford too. ✌️

I had an appointment at 8 am I came before they open when I get inside the front desk was rude and he told me you have to wait 2 hours. I do not know what happened to this location every time I go I found different people but same attitude. Never ever go there.

Service takes entirely too long & every time I leave my car with them I don’t get it back in the same condition I left it ie. Dirty interior, grease on my dash, papers from my glove compartment all over the floor, missing parts that they didn’t even work on). I’m going to have to find a new location.

Store worked with me in getting the best price for tires, the tires I wanted were out of stock, and keeping me within my budget. He went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the issues I had resolved.

Horrible experience I went here with a print out from auto zone it had an error code and engine light on , I made an appointment online I go there the manager comes down looks at my paper with the error code from auto zone and tells me they don't accept diagnostic testing from other places theirs is 100 just to tell me what's wrong, so the manager then says we can change the part that's 200 but no error codes would be cleared off ... so I said ok with your diagnostic snd the work what's the total he says around 800, very rude scammers and robbers I can't believe how Horrible customer service a manager has , knowing I already know what's wrong with me car and refusing to be any kind of help Horrible customer service bad poor attitude should NOT be a manager or in customer service dealing with people this is what you have to go through now a days instead of getting my car fixed I get anasty attitude and negative comments about auto zone and then guessed my name? Instead of just asking me my name ? Worst experience I ever had do not go to pep boys please they will Rob you you will pay 5 times the amount do not go there take my advice kids do all the work and the manager is very rude mean and negative

I understand that state inspection can take 1-2 hours, but then they had recommended repairs afterwards. I asked how long they would take and he said 30-45 minutes. I reluctantly agreed, since I had other plans in the afternoon. The recommended repairs took 2 hours from the time I agreed to them. I had to ask if there was a problem with my car or something to delay it that much, and all he could say was that he didn't know what took them so long

I went asking for an alignment because the car is pulling to the right. And the wheel is not straight. I was charged 118 usd for standard alignment. When l drove the car, l noticed it still has the same problem. When l came back, l was told that l need a kit for something, and l have to go to the dealership. Then l asked why you didn't tell me that before putting your hands on my car and charged me for the alignment that won't fix my problem?. The service advisor used that excuse treating people like they are fools. Why didn't you mention that when you delivered the car. I will be waiting for someone to call me and give my money back.

Big scammer. On 09/18/24 in 3 o'clock they check TPS and they guy told me ill need 2 TPS and they don't have and he can order it for total 380$, Walmart program old one for 15$ only.

I waited weeks before I posted this just to make sure nothing crazy happened with my car. Pep boys tried to charge me 784 for a coolant leak repair PLUS $1300 in labor!! Insane! I went to Honest about 5 mins away, the total job was 490! There are probably some great ppl here who are just victims to the high pressure sales tactics instituted from someone at corporate but the pricing is insane. Not to mention they tried to tell my wife that she shouldn’t drive our other car because of an engine issue (I forget what it was). They literally told her just take it home and park it. We’ve been driving that car for 2 years since he said that and have had no issues. Avoid pep boys, go somewhere else! I recommend Honest because they are very transparent about the cost of labor and parts. idc where you go just not here. I wouldn’t even let them change my oil at this point.
