Good customer service at this location regarding scheduling service and friendliness over the phone and at the store. For oil changes, make sure that you discuss proper oil capacity for your vehicle with the service advisor. I only received 5 quarts when I should have received 6 quarts per the digital receipt and the dipstick reading.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! I went 3 months without my car all because I decided to bring it to this location for a simple oil change. Somehow the mechanics managed to crack my oil pan while performing an oil change. Oil was flooded underneath my car when I came out of work, the same day I did the oil change. I brought it back and they weren’t happy to help. The manager, Jahrelle Benson, told me “sh!t happens” after he saw the synthetic engine oil pouring out from underneath my car after the oil change and “full inspection”. He told me that he would take care of it by having my car towed to the dealership where they can properly fix the damage that was caused. My car sat for 2 weeks before he even called the dealership or arranged to have it towed. I had to come out of pocket for the tow and they never reimbursed me for it. In the end Pep Boys paid over 5000$ to the dealership to fix the damage caused to my car. I still never got reimbursed for the tow and public transportation I had to take while waiting. It took a month for them to set me up with a rental. By far the worst customer service experienced I ever had in my life.

Had a 9am appointment for an oil change. No one ever showed to open the place. Left at 945. Came to Haverford with a 10 am appointment and being told I might get out by noon. What’s the point of appointments and why the claim that oil changes take 30 minutes? I’ve never waited less than 90 minutes.

Tire repair took 4 hours. I was originally told it would take 2 hours. When I called to check in, they acknowledged that they made up an estimate and asked me to wait for another 1.5 hours. When I said “thanks” for the context, the service advisors basically hung up and seemed annoyed that I asked the question. I empathize with the service advisors possibly under stress (because they were short on car mechanics that day) but I would appreciate professional encounters since I was being very patient with the situation. Despite the tire was repaired accordingly, I’d love if the service advisors could be respectful to customers going forward but with my most recent encounters, I’m unlikely to return.

I started losing oil, and the guys took it in to check. They confirmed I needed to replace engine valve cover. They ordered it and scheduled the job for next day. It was done on time and within the stated estimate. Thanks to the shop.

Save yourselves from this place. The person up front is not helpful at all, lack of energy, and just bad vibes. We came in for a repair and was told the repair would take an hour. An hour later, we came back to pick up the vehicle and was told it would be another hour.

I had a great experience at Pep Boys! I came in for an oil change, and the service was quick and efficient, taking less than 2 hours. The Service Manager, Jahrelle, was fantastic—he promised my car would be ready in time for me to pick up my son from school, and he delivered! Angel, the technician who worked on my car, did a great job. I really appreciate the professionalism and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back!

This is the worst Pepboys Horrible customer service. Bring back the old staff. The current manager is confused He tried to put me in another customer's vehicle. After I told him it wasn't my car. So I waited an additional 2hrs for my car because it wasn't worked on. He was not focused on providing customer service. The women who works there looks ruff and sloppy. She is a BAD Representation of Pepboys The men looks a whole lot better, in their uniforms , much neater and cleaner. They are not working with a duty duty bed scarf on their heads, Most of all, they have better attitudes towards the customers. Please bring back the original staff

People have to understand, if you come out of nowhere and expect right away service on a busy day it is not that kind of place. You can never rush perfection. Just go in, respect their rules of how they do things and be open with your time, then you will have a wonderful experience like I have.

I went there for yearly oil change and inspection. I alos asked for engine air filer and cabin filter to be replaced, and was reminded that last wheel alignment was three years ago. All work was done within a few hour. The price was of course more than usual yearly visit, but still reasonable. The front desk as well as the shop mechanics are knowledgeable about cars. Make an apointment to reduce your stay at the shop!

Their website allows you to book an appointment, but no mention that once you arrive they won’t be able to fit you in because they got a bunch of cars in last minute. At the very least there could’ve been a courtesy email or phone call.

These guys are the best @ what they do seriously going above & the job duties! I’m disabled ona fixed income raising my 4 Grand kids! My car is a necessity! These workers are so dedicated & mange’s 2 save me $$!! My car needed work so badly the service man called & explained it be longer than normal after his shift he was gonna continue working on my car! They’re so darn excectional they service men came on they day off 2 complete my car! I highly recommend Pep Boys @ least my one & only Pep Boys Ritner St Philadelphia! 10’s Across The Board!!!
