I booked an appointment for an alignment/ overall service inspection of my car.. I’m glad I chose that option, because it turned out to be that both my shock struts were severely messed up… Daniel (the manager) was great in explaining the situation, and as well gave me the best quote to fix the problem.. Let’s not mention that Kyle E (the mechanic) did exceptional work on my car within 24hrs.. Overall I was satisfied with the customer service, and the service they do there. I do see myself coming back to this location for future endeavors.

Took car in for radiator repair, dropped off at 7:55 , left there at 6:05 p. Manager gave a different price the day before . As I was sitting waiting area another customer asked me what kind of car did I have and they were having issues with hood which kept me there two hours later, because tech put wrong screws in Ask for discount, was told it was cosmetic, wow,your tech jacked up my hood, which two hours later was fixed, but no discount. I will not ever be a return customer.

After having a flat tire and walking in 2 hours before close and dealing with 3 other customers at the same time. Dan was very helpful and took care of the vehicle and even did the maintenance himself. This place is great and I highly recommend it.

I had an excellent experience at Pep Boys! They not only took care of my car at a fantastic price but also went above and beyond by fixing a tire for me complimentary after weeks of installing my new set of tires. The customer service was top-notch—the guy at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and sweet. It’s rare to find such great service, and I will definitely be returning for all my car needs. Highly recommend!

Just picked up my truck after getting a new catalytic converter and spark plug change. My truck is running better than ever so happy with the service from Curtis the technician. Also big thanks to Dan for keeping me updating throughout the process! Definitely would get serviced here again! 6 stars!

My pick-up was pulling to one side, so I took it here for a front-end alignment. They claimed they aligned it and charged me for the allignment, but it continued to pull. I took it to the dealership, they aligned it, and it no longer pulls to the side. Pep Boys clearly doesn't know what they're doing.

Bullshit and lies everyday. “It will take 1-2 days to get done”. Next day “it will be 2-3 days to get done” every day after that. “ we just need one more day”. Apparently they don’t know what one more day means because “one more day” actually turns into weeks! If you believe people when they “promise” well sorry to break it to you this place is a damn lie. At this point i’m pretty sure they don’t even know how to work on cars.

It’s been two weeks since I’ve had my car serviced at pep boys. Two weeks of chasing an employee named Dan for my quote, that he was supposed to send after checking out. I can only talk to Dan bc the other employees are lazy to communicate with their manager about the services that were suggested to me about my car. Checking out had taken some time as well. Professionalism is not a practice at this location.. $40 down the drain and my car still needs serviced..

They were fast and efficient, and very, very helpful when my friend and I were in the midst of and emotionally/mentally challenging road trip where every tire seemed to fall apart on us. They were able to get us all new tires for a good price! Would highly recommend this place to help you out if you’re in a bind and also for your everyday needs.

This place is ridiculous. Store manager stood and screamed at me causing another customer to walk out. Every customer there was mad over the amount of HOURS it took to get their vehicles done. I will walk before I step foot in another Pep Boys. Obviously no one has ever given them the definition of Pep.

I am grateful that there is a company like Pep Boys who are willing and able to do a variety of repairs and services. I had a difficult repair that needed done on a 2000 Tundra at the 7600 S Walker location in OKC and they got it done. The service manager was very entertaining. However he is also slow on checking out. He has trouble with the payment system and checking out was very slow. He actually made me wait almost 15 minutes to pay while he showed tires to someone else even though I was there first. At a prior time I was told the job was done when it really wasn't which caused me and my wife an extra drive from Blanchard, OK. Nonetheless they are really good at what they do.

Just get my fleet warranty oil changes done here. Haven't had any issues. Staffing issues happen. But my experience has always been good and efficient for work being done.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, We called ahead of time and was asked that we could come in and we arrived at 11:45 a.m. The car was on the rack with all tires taken off and was told it would be ready around 1:00pm. I walked to Academy around 12pm. So around 130pm, I headed back and the Asst. Manager came in and said the tire tech had walked out and quit and he would try and get someone else to come in and when he spoke to the manager , the office rep was told he needed to work on the other two vehicles that were there before mine. The rep had an injured hand yet the manager still told him to work on the vehicle. The manager, Dan Osban, finally arrived around 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. he never apologized for the inconvenience. The office closes at 5 and our vehicle wasn't done about 6:15pm. We had plans and had to cancel. Our whole day was shot. Thank you Dan for not acknowledging your customers. This is the location on South Walker. Will never use them again. I sure hope the Asst. Managers hand is doing good since he injured it working on vehicles he wasn't supposed to be doing.

Couldn't do an alignment on my 2012 Jetta due to my car having "lane assist" and after I told them I didn't have that and asked them to show me where the sensors where they told me they didn't know and that I should just google it. I called to verify they could do it and they said yes. I made the appointment and still had to wait 3 1/2 hrs for them to tell me this.

Probably one of the worst pep boys you could possibly go to. The people that work here are severely incompetent and do not know how or care to do their jobs. Pay over 400 for my car to get fixed then 1 week later the same issue happens. Not to mention when it was dropped off, they kept it for 3 days for a job that is only supposed to take 3-4 hours. They have terrible customer service as well, call them to bring it back in for them to actually fix it, yet the guy that fixes the issue i have is never there. Steer clear from here if you don't want to get ripped off or waste your time on terrible mechanics

Towed my Camry to this location. It was there for nearly 8 days before it was repaired. The problem? A brake switch. Pep Boys was apparently severely understaffed. They kept saying the mechanic would be in the next day when I called to check on the status. And then, four days later the brake switch goes bad AGAIN! I took it to the dealership where they again replaced the brake switch (OEM) and reported the one Pep Boys installed was faulty! After all was said and done, I was without my car nearly 10 days, someone left a grease stain on my carpet that fortunately came out with some elbow grease, and I paid A LOT more than I otherwise should have. The guys at Pep Boys were nice enough, but I would advise people to call them, especially if you need to tow your car, or take your car somewhere else.

I took my car to Pep Boys on Walker with an appointment and specific notes requesting a check of the wheel bearings. When I arrived, I mentioned my appointment and the notes, but they were completely ignored. Instead, I was asked to reiterate everything that was already documented. I was charged $30 for a suspension and steering check and was then incorrectly told the issue was with my transmission, not the wheel bearings. When I asked for my Customer Vehicle Inspection (CVI) from the appointment, I was infuriatingly informed that not all technicians at Pep Boys perform those because “it’s new and some of our guys are old school.” Absolutely not. Frustrated, I took my car to AAMCO for a transmission check, but they couldn’t find any issues. AAMCO suggested I take it to Hibdon’s for a full safety inspection. At Hibdon’s, they immediately found that the problem was indeed my wheel bearing. There was absolutely no evidence that Pep Boys initially checked my wheel bearings. I am beyond disappointed and extremely angry. As a woman, I can’t help but feel that this blatant oversight was intentional because I brought in my car alone. It felt predatory and negligent regardless. Wheel bearings are an extremely important component, and a damaged wheel bearing requires immediate attention. If Pep Boys had done what was requested, this review would be much different. Their lack of urgency and competence could have caused my car to be totaled or worse. This lack of discernment and professionalism is utterly unacceptable and dangerous. If I could rate zero stars, I would. If you’re looking for anything to be done with your vehicle, go to Hibdon’s.

Update (since my first review was deleted). It has been almost a year and my poor experience continues to haunt me and I am still out $110 from an alignment that I was charged for and was not done. I, originally wrote a long review detailing my poor experience and was told to email the corporate offices with details of my complaint, but of course never heard any response. I went in for two flat tires and after finding out I had to have a moderate to major repair, ended up waiting several days despite about 10 promises that my car would be done within hours. After using all of my sick time for the year because they kept delaying the timeline for completion of the job, I also ended up spending over $300 extra on repairs not done (the alignment) and on a battery after they killed it doing the job. Beware visiting this site. You may end up out of an enormous amount of time, energy, and money trying to get car repairs.
