CAUTION…MUST READ Dear Oklahoma City Residents and Military Veterans, I strongly urge you to think twice before requesting service from PepBoys. Before my appointment, I was quoted $360 (after my military discount, tax exemption, and a January $50 coupon) for front brakes and rotors. However, upon arrival, Service Manager Lenin Colon Torres suddenly quoted me $600—a $240 price hike with no clear justification. Upon reviewing my receipt, I noticed a mysterious $35 “Shop Fee.” When I asked Mr. Torres to explain, he could not confidently justify the charge. He scrambled for an answer before finally settling on: “Well, every job has it.” This, in my opinion, is nothing short of blatant price gouging. Essentially, I was charged $35 just to receive an invoice. To make matters worse, the so-called military discount was an insult. Instead of honoring a fair discount, he randomly applied 5% to a single item—a pathetic $1.73 off my bill. Considering that PepBoys was founded by Navy veterans, this level of disregard for military customers is absolutely disgraceful. If you’ve read this far, do yourself a favor: ✅ Get a printed quote in advance. ✅ Examine every charge on your invoice. ✅ Consider supporting local, family-owned auto shops that actually value integrity. I have learned my lesson—I will never trust PepBoys again. ~~~ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ~~~ Is it possible to give a 10 diamond 💎 review ? I rarely ever give out 5 stars because even great places have room for improvement ! Wirh the manager Tommy at the helm, this particular store will always be successful. 1st) open on a Sunday 2nd) stock tires of difficult sizes. I shredded 4 tires in 3hrs on US40. Called EVERY SINGLE PLACE google "sponsors" & NOTHING ! Pep Boys popped up, & had 4 com truck tires in stock !!! Great service from the desk & helpful staff have out of a desperate emergency situation & motoring back home !!!

It took almost 2 hours to fix a nail in my tire and then they brought the car out but they forgot to do the oil change. I got there at 9 and left around 1115.

These guys folks have done my mechanic work for 20 years or more. Tommy is one of the best shop managers in the business. Their mechanics are great and their prices fair and up-front.

I scheduled an appointment 3 days ago; and it was confirmed by Pep Boys (appt. ID #075652742362), the next day for today. When I checked in, they said I would be next, which would be a 1.5 hour wait (after I asked). The dude was really nice, but kinda laughed when he told me that all a scheduled appointment would get me was the next available stall, although their website didn’t say that. There’s no need for Pep Boys to respond with their generic reply: “We apologize that you had a poor experience, Please allow us to review your experience by sending us your contact info and details of your visit to pepsocial@pepboys.com referencing (Google Review), so we can investigate further. Thank you.” I gave them 2 stars for their easy on-line scheduling and being friendly while they told me how long the wait would be. That was my first and last experience with them.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️this is a bit long but worth the read I waited a few days to write this review because I wanted to be sure that was the standard when you go to reputable companies and spend your hard earned money. Last Thursday I scheduled a appointment and whilst I was at work I sent my son in to get my services completed as we are driving to my family for thanksgiving I wanted to make sure my car was in tip top shape. The services I was requesting was an engine diagnostic a fuel system diagnostic brakes check and a wheel alignment. My son got there at noon everything was going smoothly until services were “complete” my son then called me because he wanted me to hear the diagnosis long story short I had no engine problems $99.99 I had no fuel pump issues he just suggested that I use only 87 because other gases has too much water in them which will cause strain on the fuel pump $99.99 and a partial wheel alignment because they said the back struts were leaking and they needed to be replaced I said oh okay how much would that be he quoted me $900 I said I looked for the part and it’s only around $200 how much is labor? He said labor is $158 per hour ?!?! I swiftly declined and was charged the full $99.99 for the wheel alignment he only did on the front and not the back he said he would do the best he can but full price for half a job is crazy! So it’s time to pay out and my balance was 345.59 I cashapped my son the money and he used Google pay they told he it didn’t go through on his end and he tried again and they said it didn’t go through a second time. My son goes into cash app and notices that the first transaction took 345.59 and another transaction took 56.62 he then calls me tells me what happens and then I speak directly to the person who was assisting us I asked them could they make a note that this occurred and they obliged. I gave them my debit card info and this time they claimed it went through. The charges were still pending on cash app and I was told that they couldn’t look into it until the charges cleared Sunday night they cleared confirming that pepboys did receive the money both times I’ve called several times to remedy the situation and have been given the run around for days!!! No one seems to care enough please be careful here! Proceed with caution ⚠️ I will be putting this on social media cooperate has the 48 hours they’ve promised to remedy this.

Wow!!!! These guys really saved me. Walmart didn’t have the filter for my Porsche, AutoZone also didn’t have it, I was left with going to the Porsche dealership where they quoted me almost $600 for an oil change and then another local shop that works on Porsche, for $330. Luckily my local PepBoys did everything for under $150 and were super fast!!!!!!! Really saved the day! Thanks guys.

Brought my car in for 1 new tire and an oil change. They left my engine shield unscrewed, didn’t refresh any of my warning badges, and did not check tire pressure on any of my tires. I returned when I saw the engine shield hanging off the car and the mechanic told me it was like that when I brought the car in… I can almost 100% confirm that is not true. I asked if he could fix it and he said they didn’t have any screws. I also asked about the air in my tires and he said they lost the air pump, and that I should go to discount tire to get them checked (they claimed to have checked them on my receipt). They did below the bare minimum with my service, leaving stuff unfinished and with no explanation. I never leave bad reviews but I recommend going to a different auto place unless you have time for bs.

Couldn’t be more appreciative of Charlin and the Pep Boys staff for the quick turnaround on a tire patch. They saved me from what could’ve been a miserable experience! 10/10 would recommend!!

Customer service here leaves a lot to be desired, but it pales in comparison to the BS we dealt with concerning their technician, Anthony. He told us he could do the work cheaper if we did it on the side, what in the world kind of place is this? The work he DID do on the car was not good, he actually made the problem worse. I would avoid at all cost.

Customer service here is TERRIBLE! The girl that works at the front is unprofessional and at times been down right rude and ghetto. I spent hard earned money for a full set of tires but my rear tire keeps going down. Every time I go by to try to get it fixed (part of the contract) or at least some air in it she says my technicians are on other jobs. I ask her could I just get some air in it she told me to go to a gas station and put air in it. I can not believe that they treat their customers that have spent hundreds of dollars thousands if you count over the years like this. I am done with Pep boys and will not go back. I will tell everyone I have influence with my church my job my following my friends my neighbors how you made me feel and how I was treated. That’s ok Pep Boys. WOW wow wow 🥹

Did not follow instructions and instead of installing new tired on new OEM wheel purchased inside vehicle, they installed tire on damaged wheel against my instructions. Also no wheel alignment was performed as my steering wheel is crooked.

The prices are decent and the sales lady was great, (this is the ONLY reason I’m not leaving a 1 star review) - fast forward to actually using the road hazard warranty and they NEVER cover it. The last time I came in for a nail in my tire, it wasn’t covered bec it was in the tread on the edge, so it was considered “sidewall”. This time the screw was in the deep groove between the treads- so I set up an appointment to fix it. My appointment was the next day at 12:30, at 3:30 I called to ask if there was an update- I was told there was only 1 tech on location and it would be done by 5. 4:40 I get a call that my tire is “not repairable”. They claimed it was a sidewall fix, and I need to purchase a new tire AGAIN. Idk if the tech was just ready to go home, or if this is the standard when they can’t claim your tread is too low, but it’s extremely frustrating. Previously I had come in to get my tires rotated, and had marked the tires before dropping it off. When I got home, my tires were in the same positions. I went back up to the store and was told they didn’t rotate the tires because the tread was too low on my front tire. I asked why they never stated this- instead I was given an itemized receipt showing the tire rotation had been done?! They didn’t have an answer other than it must have been a clerical error. My family will never spend our money at this establishment again. I recommend any other auto service company.

The service performed was good. My only complaint was that I booked my appointment for Sunday at 11am and they kept my car overnight. I didn’t get it back until the next day at 10am. All I needed was new tires installed and an alignment. I had to miss several hours of work on Monday because of this delay. The representative at the store said it was because they only had one technician working that day. If that was the case, I feel like they should not have booked so many appointments for that day that they could not service them all timely.

Vehicle has same issue, was told if I had the work on the brakes and alignment the car would not vibrate when driven over 60 mph. I picked up the vehicle. Same issue. Brought it back. Tech flushed put brake fluid, charged me, was told the vibration was because of the tired, they're cupping. If I was told tires and alignment would be sufficient, I would pay that and fix the brakes at later time. I don't have the money for tires at this time. This situation has me depressed and I'm a veteran, should have been treated better than this. Car still vibrates when driven over 60 mph

Kevin is the mechanic that works on my car he is the very best I have ever had. Kim the general manager is also very knowledgeable and very good. Went in because the check engine light was on and thought I had a dirty air filter. Pep boys found out it was a more serious problem and was able to quickly fix it in no time. Car runs like new now. Would highly recommend.
