Misdiagnosed problem to the tune of 3000.00 was not the issue. Ended up taking car to dealership.

The guys at pep boys really went out of their way to help me out. Ive got an older truck that the previous owner messed with. These guys did all things possible to get back on the road again. Friendly folks that will take of you. 10 out of 10 would recommend

I called twice on different days to get an estimate for brakes + rotors. When I showed up for my appointment I was told they have to do a inspection/diagnostic check even though I already told them what the problem was. After inspecting I was told a $ that was double what I was told over the phone, her excuse was she gave me the $ for brake pads. It makes no sense, I was very clear about what I wanted and would not have made an appt had I been quoted the correct amount. Other than that they offer good service.

I only left 5 stars because that was the most I could. I was in town on a business trip and had car problems. Larry gave be great customer service Let me focus on the work I had to do there He was great.

This is my new go-to spot to fix on any vehicle I have when I come in town. Larry is great with timing and the actual mechanical aspect of fixing any issue on a vehicle. My car drove smooth, from the moment I left Memphis, all the way back to St. Louis.

I took it for an alignment which created a new problem afterwards. My car now squeaks whenever u turn the steering wheel all the way on either side, it rides like a wagon, I can feel every imperfection and bump on the road, no matter how minor the road imperfections are, I have to grip the steering wheel very tightly with both hands just to have control of my car! I regret taking it to them! UPDATE 8/16/24: So, Lee from their Leadership Team reached out to me and he was very rude and dismissive. Is there anyone else besides Lee with the Leadership Team to reach out? He pretty much dismissed everything I've said and made excuses without hearing me out, saying that my complaints had nothing to do with the alignment that was performed.

I was thereon time for my appointment to have 2 tires mounted & balanced. Only 1 technician was on staff at 8:30 a.m . So, they rescheduled for the next day. Same thing, had to wait over 2 hours to finish the job. Not good.

The prices are affordable. Definitely better than taking my vehicle to its dealership. With that being said, I got the free AC evaluation which comes with a lot checks/perks And not really free, lol.. but it's worth the package. I need a new cooling fan. They could have did it in the spot, but they also didn't judge me for saying " I know what the problem is, I can buy the part myself and take it to my repair man." And they have good customer service and knowledgeable. So thank you. My car is an 2011 Lincoln.
