I called to get my car inspected for Lyft and the lady told me that they don't take appointments even though that's what their website says and to come between 12 to 4 Monday through Friday. I came the next day at 3 o'clock, and the lady said that she could not do it because it was too windy and her paper might fly away!? Are we living in the 1800s? Do clipboards not exist? She knew that we called yesterday but she just didn’t want to do it. It was the most insane excuse anyone has ever given me. It’s too windy and her paper might fly away!? I thought I was trippin in there

I came to this location for an oil change. My boyfriend had work done on his car at this location and was very satisfied. I mentioned this to the guy who was helping me with my appointment for the oil change and he did not even acknowledge what I said. I expected a good customer service person to say something like, that's great he referred you here. This guy did not say one word to acknowledge what I said. All I got was total silence. That was my first and last visit to this place. Comments like what I said should ALWAYS BE ACKNOWLEDGE. The guy that helped me is BAD FOR YOUR BUSINESS. This location always seem to be busy, so they probably DON'T NEED MY BUSINESS. It's sad how some business owners select the wrong people to deal with their customers. They are BAD for your business ! ! ! I need new tires but will take my business to someone that will demonstrate some customer appreciation. Just saying....

Great location, friendly knowledgeable staff. I’ve been taking my car there for awhile few years. My car always runs great after they work on it. Nice waiting room with free coffee, good wifi and very clean.

I had a disappointing experience at Pep Boys today, 11/18/24, at 3:00 pm. I arrived for a scheduled appointment to have my battery changed and was assisted by Alex. She informed me it was company policy for there to be a two-hour wait, even with a scheduled appointment. This made no sense to me—if an appointment is set, I expected to be helped at the scheduled time. Alex’s attitude was dismissive, and when I asked to speak to her manager, she claimed she could only leave a message for them. Frustrated, I called another Pep Boys location and spoke to store manager Tom, who was professional, friendly, and assured me their location prioritizes helping customers on time. Additionally, prior to my interaction, Alex was on the phone with another customer and rudely told them they were talking too fast before hanging up. She then laughed about it in front of other customers, which was highly unprofessional. Eventually, I spoke with the area manager, Tony (who Alex initially claimed was the store manager). Tony was understanding, expedited the service, and offered a 20% discount to make up for the poor service. This review is intended as feedback for management to use as a coaching opportunity for Alex. Professionalism and customer service are critical, and if delays like a two-hour wait are unavoidable, a courtesy call before the appointment would have been appreciated so we could reschedule. The overall experience could have been better handled, and I hope to see improvements in the future.

I got great service at Pep Boys!! I needed new tires on my Nissan Sentra. I spoke with a guy named Larry over the phone at least three or four times the day prior to going in. He was very helpful and answered all my questions when I went in the next day Larry had all my information, and he had the tires I chose ready to go. He was just as courteous and helpful in person as he was over the phone. They did a great job with my car. When I need more work done on my car, I will return for sure. Tony at Pep Boys on Lake Mead could not of been nicer with the exchange of the battery for my husbands car. He encouraged my husband to come back and have the car tested.. Great Service.
