My car was brought in needing some repairs. But the initial quote of an hour and a half turned into two full days, and I ended up leaving with new issues with the car. When I brought it up to the Pep Boys on Lafayette, they told me to ignore it. And then that location went out of business. I took it to a different location and while they were very kind and professional, they said they couldn’t help me. So now I have to figure out and pay for an issue that I did not have prior to receiving service at Pep Boys.

Was visiting from out of town and noticed a wobble in my front end, it was a broken belt in one of the tires. Pep boys located 2 matching tires and installed them the same day. Thank you for the professional service

I had a great experience at Pep Boys. Even though they were understaffed and overwhelmed that day, they still got my brakes and rotors replaced in a couple hours, gave me multiple pricing options and talked me through the warranty differences. Friendly, clean, and professional. Saved me $200 compared to quote from Meineke.

I had to order a set of tires twice on October 8 and October 2. Both times I was redirected from the store because they did not have my tires. I drove 30 minutes back-and-forth to the first store to wait 45 minutes while in store to be told by the employee that they don’t have my tires. I drove 40 to 45 minutes back-and-forth to the second store as I was told that was the only location that would have the tires after the first order Was unsuccessful. I called customer service twice now after being told that they would look into a discount for my wasted gas in time, as a result of their lack of awareness of when and where the tires that I ordered would be. I’ve been informed both times that I’ve called in that they’ve successfully updated my customer service case, and then I should be expecting a call. I have yet to receive this call and it is over a month after I made my first order later.

I had to use this place due to an emergency. At first glance I was not really confident. But the assistant manager Karen was amazing. She handled my warranty claim to get my repair going quickly. She answered all of my questions and made me feel better about using this shop. She recounted to me that corporate had plans to close up this shop and had pulled some support but they were soldiering on and improving their stance every day. While I was there several local business operators came in to discuss business relationships to help everyone involved. Karen is keeping this shop together with a lot of help from her techs. Michael was one that I met and he was a nice guy that seemed to know what he was doing. All in all, I would definitely recommend this shop if you are close. It's not actually close to me normally so I doubt I will be back but only because it's not close to me.

Car trouble is never fun and trips to the mechanic could be rather nerve wracking. However, the store manager Karen and the knowledgeable tech Mike took great care of my little family’s Chevy Cruze (coil pack and spark plugs). I’m grateful for empathic employees in these post covid times. Thank you.

I am from Out of town and my tire was going flat. Picked up a screw along the way. They were a little busy. Karen was absolutely the best. The tech that fixed my tire was so kind and got it fixed in a timely manner. Thank you both. Best service I seen in a long time.

Karen, the manager, was so amazing. After I ignorantly ran over a curb in the worse way possible, damaging axle, ball joint etc., she and her team showed efficiency ,understanding, and compassion. they really do care. it was an excellent experience and so far, the car drives better, tighter than before!

Not only did I make a hour drive there just for them to give me a different price then they gave me over the phone😑 then pretty much forced me to tryed to get me to buy two more tires that I didn’t need if your a woman don’t go there alone go with out a man they try to get over on you

Karen went above and beyond to make sure my car was ready by the end of the day! An unexpected problem with my tire locks caused a delay and Karen searched e very supplier she could find to get a new key and was able to get my car back to me in great time. James, the technician did a great job fixing my steering coupler and my car rides like new! Thanks Pep Boys!

The Pep Boys location off Lafayette Rd. has given me the worst experience ever. They took over 3 weeks longer than promised to repair my car, they did not repair everything that was promised, my car was dead when I picked it up, no one explained any findings from the inspection, no one called the number I left to have my car picked up when it was ready, all the workers were uncoordinated, the entire shop is a mess! I will not be coming back. I'm extremely disappointed that I have problems each time I come. Absolutely ridiculous. And all just to get a 5% discount. A true embarrassment to the Pep Boys name.

Wasted time. I made an appointment for Sunday, only to drive all the way there to find the store closed. The funny thing is they have this huge banner above the workshop bay door that says "OPEN SUNDAYS".

Felt taken advantage of. Didn’t provide me no info on vehicle and kept it for a full day when it was just supposed to be a FREE service. But ended up with 100 out of my pocket. Very displeased. Was told I was gonna pay something either way. Terrible.

The shop was open on a Sunday, on Christmas Eve, and fixed our flat tire in about 30 minutes. Really, really appreciated their being open and able to help us out of a jam.

We had a great experience. My car was towed in with a flat tire the day after Christmas. They were very busy, but told me they would get my tire fixed that day. My car was done when promised. They made it super quick and easy process.
