This is the place!! Hands down! Customer Service-Excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. Allen is the manager. He answered all of my questions. The work was done correctly and in a timely manner. This is my new place from now on. Bye bye Firestone ☺️

I went to pep boys to change my headlight bulb ( right beam) for my Mercedes sprinter he said oh Mercedes it’s hard and took about 3 hours. And cost $400 for $400 for labor and need to move all headlight assembly to fix it. I took it to Mercedes dealer just 15 min for $70 that’s it. I don't trust them anymore.

I am beyond upset. I ordered tires and made an appointment almost two weeks an advance. I made the appointment for noon. And I was told it wouldn’t be ready until 5pm! It shouldn’t take 5 hours to change all 4 tires…

I don’t know much about cars. But took my car to state inspection and it didn’t pass because I need to get my high beam replaced. I went to this location and I said “I need my high beam” he was smoking in a bad attitude and just send me to buy highlights (again, I don’t know about cars and I trust what he said) he ask me to buy two even though I knew only one was bad. 3-4 people working on my car when they finished he said “I won’t charge you” well it would be very cynical from him, because my high beam still not working. If I was the expert I would change it on my own. I went to a place where they’re the experts you can trust.

Honest, fast service at Pep Boys to repair my punctured tire. Don't go to Walmart or Firestone for superficial damage to your tire because they both lied claiming irreparable damage, insisting on replacing the tire. Pep boys earned my business on a future set of tires. I would consider the other maintenance services at this location in Frisco, TX as well. Thanks for your help and honesty.

I took my vehicle to do an alignment and balancing, when I picked it up it had all these sensors on and this warning of some problem that I had never had before, my car did not have any lights on now it has all this, the person who helped me in the afternoon He was very polite but at night a very unpleasant and disinterested guy, now I will have to take my vehicle to another place and with more problems, don't go there

I was working out in Frisco today and had two hours to kill, so I dropped my truck off for a full synthetic oil change before driving 900 miles later this week. I was on my way home to Roanoke after I picked it up and around 3:45pm, about 27 miles after the service, my "low oil pressure" light came on. I pulled over and realized I was leaking oil like crazy. Luckily, I was about 10 minutes from the Roanoke location. I limped over there and when they got it on the lift, they told me the new o-ring on the oil filter was never put on. With the vertical filter towards the top of the engine compartment, there is now oil leaking down into every crevice. The Roanoke guys got as much as they could, but could not get all of it. 100% Karma for being lazy and not doing it myself like I usually do.

Staff was professional and courteous but took way too long to change out a set of tires. I was the only customer in the shop at the time and I had an early scheduled appointment. There were 4 employees working and it still took them just short of 2 hours to change a set of tires.

The first time they did it, I don’t remember his name, but this second time I believe they did not do the front in line, because it came back in 30 minutes, then I called back and ask them did they do all four tires he said no they do the problem they see, but I paid for tires balance and front in line, long I have that car, where’s the young man that did it first Bring him back

The full synthetic oil change was done efficiently and met my expectations—great work on that! However, I was disappointed with the tire rotation service. The mechanic claimed it was completed, but I noticed it wasn’t done and brought it to the store manager’s attention. While the oil change was great, honesty and thoroughness in all services are equally important to build customer trust.

Schedule appt 6 days in advance and when I showed up they hadn't confirmed the appointment so the tires hadn't been delivered. Had to take time off of work to come back and not one person apologized or put a priority on it when i told them about their screwup.Took over 2 hours to install which is excessive.

I have had good service and good pricing on several different visits to this shop. They have just serviced my needs and fixed specific problems without trying to sell me anything I don't need. I appreciate the manager Alan who got my car in and out very quickly

If I could leave zero starts I would!!! Do NOT trust these ppl with your car! They will up sale you and make false claims about what your car needs, just to mess up your car and keep you coming back. I went there for a routine oil change and asked them for coolant top off… the guy told me they had to do a coolant flush “for my car type” they can’t just top off… that was the first red flag! They have untrained people working on cars with little to no experience. They literally let anyone work here. The second red flag, they had child working on my car!! By the time I drove off I had checked engine light on, a few days later my car said I needed coolant agin !! Fast forward to now my car has a coolant leak and has smoke coming from my hood, because it wasn’t done correctly! The dealership told me to return it to this same pep boys because they messed it up and needed to fix it ! Keep in mind my car had no issues prior to going here! All I needed was a oil change. When I went in there the same guy tried to tell me some bs story about how this is normal for my car and he had the same happen to his car recently!!! He said they have to do a leak assessment and I would have to pay for them to make sure it’s a leak…. Even tho I specifically told him the car has a coolant leak was looked at by the Porsche dealer…. My car has been sitting there for 2 days! Nothing has been done. They kept giving me the runaround about how they are waiting for parts to fix it. Every time I called to check on the status the guy out right told me he hadn’t called to check if they found the parts needed at all… Finally today i had my car towed to a new by auto shop and sure enough I NEVER needed the coolant flush “for my car type” ! Just like the Porsche dealership said, And they indeed messed my car up ! I will be holding these ppl responsible for all repairs, corporate has been called and a complaint was filed! The dealership and I will be filing a lawsuit! I’m very unhappy with my experience overall they were very dismissive and also when I returned my car a diff machine look at it for a few and came back in and told the guy what was needed also told him they put in the wrong thing the first time! All this was said in front of me at the desk !! These ppl are scammers dressed in machine uniforms! Do not trust them !! Do NOT go to pep boys, if you value your vehicle !

On 9/21 I took my car to the Pep Boys Frisco location to have a fuel pressure sensor put on . On Monday 9/23 I put gas in my vehicle only to run out of gas and leaving me stranded. I attempted to put more gas in the car and it all leaked down to the ground, and it was still leaking while on the tow truck on the way back to the location. It was determined that they did not secure the fuel filler neck properly. I was out the 472.00 for the original repair plus the tow back to the location 192.00

!!!! Scammers alert !!!!! Came for inspection , they had said it failed because of low thread , it had got barely 21k miles. I had taken it to a different store ….. just in it passed They tried to scam me so I can buy tires from them.

I am very grateful for Mr. Balam! This morning I noticed I had a very low tire. I decided to take my chances and head over to PepBoys without an appointment. Although, they had a few customer’s pending with appointment slots, he managed to squeeze me in, replace my tire with a new one, oil change service and got me out of there in plenty of time to pick up my daughter from school. I’ve been working with this particular PepBoys for two + years. Always fast courteous and professional. They possess old school professional customer service which is so lacking in too many businesses. If there is poor customer service at any business then it’s easy to point the fault towards management. I’ve been to other big name auto maintenance operations, whose name I won’t mention, but even the competitors best day can’t compare to PepBoys worst day. When then chips are down you can rely on PepBoys for a win win!
