They explained everything clearly, and they didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. The repair was done efficiently, and my car is running perfectly again. But what really impressed me was the genuine care and attention I received. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. I highly recommend this Pep Boys location for their excellent customer service and quality work!

It took two hours for an oil change. Unrealistic time updates were given, and only when I asked. A tech did not show up that day, which I understand, but there was no apology, and when I asked for them to make it right, the service rep was argumentative and unprofessional. Stay away from this place.

This was my first time to use Pep Boys. The guys were very friendly and helpful. The waiting room is very nice with a TV and coffee. I waited as my new battery was installed. They texted me when my car was ready. I will definitely refer them to my friends.

I choose Pep Boys for my purchase and installation of Cooper Adventure tires. I had my vehicle towed in as the flat tire was not safe to drive. It ended up arriving later than my appointment time which was (10AM) but I did call them prior to then to let them know I would not be able to come with the vehicle. They received the car around 10:30AM. I was hoping to pick it up at lunch since I had an appointment in the morning however they said they hadn't pulled it in the shop yet, but were about to get to it. When I checked back at the end of the day, unfortunately, they still had yet to get to it. The staff member I spoke to over the phone demonstrated great service and was apologetic, mentioning they were understaffed and it was a miscommunication on their end. The job got done swiftly to pick it up that evening. I appreciated their honesty and ownership of the mishap. I totally understand things happen and was grateful for their communication of what occurred. Tires look great and have been driving well, about 3-4 weeks now since installation.

I made an online appointment for a tire rotation at $9.99, but like most shops they found other repairs that needed tending to. So, out the door after a tire rotation and a new serpentine belt and tensioner, I paid over $300. However, it had not had a new serpentine belt in over 90K miles, so I'm sure it was time. The service rep was knowledgeable and explained the situation to me, so I felt like it was warranted. I've used Pep Boys many times before and I feel like they're one of the more reputable shops, so I will continue taking my vehicles there for service. The most recent service was on my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500, but they've serviced my 2016 Kia Forte5, too.

My wife took her car in for an oil change, and after they told her the car needed the valve cover gasket replaced and gave her an estimate of $1600. My wife asked if they could do the work and they said yes. My wife came home and let me know what was going on and I checked her extended warranty which to my surprise covered this issue. We called and asked if Pepboys could take care of the gasket and if they worked with the warranty company which they said yes to. We dropped off my wife’s vehicle the night before so they could start work at 8am when they got in. The next day my wife called them at 9am because they never called like they said they would, Pepboys then said yes we are working on it but we do need to make sure we can get parts and we will call the warranty people and they let her know they would call back with an update. Fast forward to 1pm when my wife calls back since we have not heard anything and they said, “oh yeah, we can’t work on your vehicle because we don’t have the “tools” do work on it.” When my wife asked why did they tell us the day before that they could work on it, they said “well we just diagnosed the issue”. But that is not true when we dropped off the vehicle we were assured they could have the vehicle done the next day. Now they tell us to take it to the dealer. Seems kind of odd that the day before when my wife was there alone and there was no warranty on the table they could do it for $1600, then they back out when they find they don’t have the “tools”. They didn’t think to call us to let us know they can’t work on her vehicle? Instead we go a whole day without the vehicle when we could have taken it to the dealer right after they found this out. Thank you for wasting our day. PS - we checked you only need a few basic tools that any mechanic should have to do this job, so I guess y’all were trying to make some money off a woman who was alone trying to get an oil change? Seems kind of weird how fast things change and the lack of communication.

Never be too specific on what you think needs to be done with your car here. Told them the headlight was out and I thought that the bulb needed to be replaced. They replaced the bulb and I could see light coming out so I assumed it was working. First time I drove in the dark you would have thought they did nothing. Went back into the store to ask what we could do since the light clearly wasn’t fixed. Then I was told “you asked us to replace the bulb that’s what we did”. Probably one of the laziest responses I’ve ever heard. Take some pride in your work and business so that the customer doesn’t have to come back because “that’s what you asked us to do”. Funniest part is they were trying to pitch $1000 repair on a totally separate part of the car instead of actually fixing what needed to be fixed.

Matthew and his crew were amazing! I had a dead battery and came in 45 minutes before closing. They were so sweet and reassuring. They got my car in fast and I was out 5 minutes after their normal closing time. I've gone to other Pep Boys and the experience hasn't always been a good one, but this location is definitely on my list of favorites. Great job!

Brought my car here to replace the water pipe that was leaking. They charged me $500 to replace it and never even checked to make sure the problem was resolved but told me it was when it clearly isn’t as it’s leaking from the same spot. They stole my money and never even completed the work properly and I was there for 6+ hours. I wouldn’t be surprised if they stole my brand new oem part and put some trash aftermarket part on my car or the same exact part they took off and they stole my brand new bottle of antifreeze and tried to tell me it took the whole gallon jug to fill it. I’m no expert but when I know it absolutely does not take that much to fill it.

I prefer this Pep Boys location. I had all four tires replaced and was very pleased with the results. The staff was very professional, and the place was very clean. This might be my go-to. I’ll definitely be back!

I stopped in to get new brakes/rotors, and get oil changed 2 days before my baby was due to be born. They did the brake check and even though I came in late, they were willing to help me out by staying later to finish my car so it was safe for newborn. So so grateful.

The entire staff that worked on Labor Day 9/2 were all great! Very attentive and so helpful. I had a 1:30pm appointment for a battery replacement and I was out of there by 1:50pm at the max! As a first time customer of Pep Boys, I’ll definitely be back!
