Chris was great and informative throughout the entire process. My car needed new rodors and brake pads and it was done in a timely manner all within my budget. I would definitely recommend the Pep Boys on 6530 North Central Expy Dallas.

Called the store because I needed my headlight changed. Spoke with Chris and he stated that I came come 20 mins before closing. Rushed up there and he changed my low beam headlight. Great customer service and very efficient. Thank you Chris.

Dirty crooks. They charge $30 to mount and balance a tire which is reasonable but they charge an extra $25 to clean the bead which of part of mount and balance for any reputable service shop. They charge you double to do the job the right way.

I have gone to this pep boys for over 15 years. Previous employees have always been incredibly helpful. I made an appointment to get my oil changed and when I showed up late because of my job, the place was empty and the guy claimed I’d have to now be a walk in and didn’t give me any other option but to wait over an hour to see when they can get to my car instead of making a new appointment for me. Incredibly rude customer service for loyal customers. Needs new management! Go to another pep boys!

Management: Chris and John were fantastic (5/5) Technician: caused damage to my vehicle; likely too busy / rushing (1/5) More context; My cars front lip and rim were damaged and the valve stem cap was misplaced, but John and Chris made everything right. Excellent customer service. If you go here and they are working deal with them nobody else.

Chris has always been the most helpful employee. All of the staff has been fantastic and I’ve gotten oil changes and my brake pads replaced at good prices. Chris was super friendly, was helpful, and made it the best possible experience. Would recommend this shop to anyone in the area

I just want to say that I had the absolute best customer service from Start to finish by a serviceman named Chris, He did the absolute most for me, made sure that I was set explained to me a lot of things regarding my tires that I wasn’t familiar with, Took care of my car and did it incredibly fast.

I have never left a review, but I have to leave one here. Scheduled an appointment for an 8 AM service a few days in advance. I have never been to a pep boys (and probably won't), and came in needing a tire rotation, oil change (which I was honest that I was overdue for) and needing help with replacing a tail light issue. I came in and was met with an annoyed employee who said he would probably have to charge me $120 just to look and see what the problem was with my tail light. He couldn't do my oil change because there was a recall on my engine and not enough oil left. That I would have to go buy oil and drive around for 500 miles before he would be able to do an official change (not to mention he just found a rag on the ground to test the oil). I hesitantly left my car, but immediately turned back to take it somewhere for a second opinion. That second opinion ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. My dealership confirmed there was no recall on my engine when I confirmed my vehicle details. A Kwik Kar had no problem doing my oil change, tire rotation, and ordering the correct tail light part to have it fixed before the end of the day. Again, I NEVER write reviews on Google. But the fact that Pep Boys thought I was too stupid to protest and was annoyed I showed up for an appointment that they approved was ridiculous! If you don't want to be open at 8 AM and deal with customers, I suggest changing your store hours. And at the bare minimum, don't try making your customers feel stupid.

The service manager, John was amazing! I was on a time crunch but he got me in and out super quick! He also got me a better and cheaper battery. I would definitely recommend going to this place if you are looking for good, knowledgeable, quick, and reasonably priced work. Thanks again, John!

I come here anytime I have a problem with my Volvo and the service is amazing. A couple years ago, I had to get a major repair where the engine belt broke and a friend had the same problem went to Volvo dealership and was quoted twice as much as I was at Pepboys. As a college girl I have never felt like I’m being ripped off. I will never go anywhere else for my car troubles.

Put in remanufactured parts, faulty parts, refused to fix it correctly. Left my car for almost a week in the corner. I had to move the car and had another mechanic fix my car. Ready to go in under two hours. Paid out of my pocket for a warranty job pep boys would not do. Terrible.
