Excellent job. But, the fumes in the waiting area were horrible. Mixture of rubber and cigarette smoke. None of the people in the waiting area were smoking.

Made my appointment in the morning for that same afternoon. The two associates at the desk were friendly and were ready for my appointment. Had the tires ready to go. Great sale as well! Car was in and out in less than an hour! Couldn't of been better.

PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE GOING TO HAMILTON ROAD PEPBOYS!!! Let me just start by saying that Stephen is the only thing that made the whole experience somewhat manageable and that’s because he talked about nerd stuff with me. The actual service itself was a nightmare. First they tried to claim that my car wouldn’t start…which miraculously happened as soon as they got ahold of it. Starts right up for me, including in the shop on their lift, because if they can’t start it without jumping it then I shouldn’t be able to (oh and it has started every single time since then with no issues). Second, they claim they couldn’t do an alignment because it’s a solid piece and I have to take it to a collision place to find where it’s bent. Really? Again, didn’t have an issue beforehand. Heard an awful lot of banging around though while I was sitting there…wonder what that could’ve been 🤔 bending of metal maybe? Third, they said on the phone that it would only take about a hour. Only one car in the shop at the time I arrived and it was nearly finished. 2.5 hrs later, I was finally about to be on my way. Who knew that new tires would cause so many issues with your car that it now pulls to the left and bounces/jerks when you stop. Guess I should’ve looked at the reviews before I decided to take my car here. My wife looked after the fact and made sure to tell me that the reviews are horrible and if I take my car back and complain, they’ll probably make it even worse. Great job making lives miserable pepboys, 5 stars to that.

I went in for tire replacement. Steve and his technician were wonderful. Steve informed me that I only needed 1 tire replaced and still had life in my other 3. Steve took the time to show me my tread and how it wasn’t necessary to replace all the tires and explained when they should be replaced. I was grateful for his opinion and he saved me money. Good customer service is hard to come by these days and I was throughly impressed with the service I received today . Thank you !

They were very friendly, and thorough. They took time to explain the situation with my brakes. I usually fo this work myself but time is not on my side. The issues they called out were all actually issues not the typical upsell scams a lot of places do.

they lied about changing the cabin air filter. they never did. i found out when i went to get an oil change months later. never coming back again.

I had 2 oil changes scheduled for 4pm. 20 mins after the scheduled time, they informed me that they wouldn't have time to perform both services. So I told them which car to service. We waited another 30 mins. I checked the service area to see if they had started yet. They had not, so 50 mins after our scheduled appointment they had not begun the work on the now one car not two. We left around 5:40pm. With only one of our 2 cars having had the oil changed. Needless to say I won't be going back.

There labor cost is ridiculous there higher than the dealership Bob's chevrolet 2011 chevrolet malibu LS 13 dollars for the plugs the dealership told me that,only 230 with taxes 4 sparks plugs pep boys 550 that's without the taxes,plugs 13 dollars best call around before going pep Boys

The tires I had ordered were never delivered to the store I set up the services with. The manager of Hamilton Rd location made a call to the Morse Rd store and luckily they had them. He drove to pick them up and bring back for the service while my brakes were being inspected. Then the mechanic was awesome as he explained and showed me, my brakes were in great condition still and didn't need new. I would highly recommend Pep Boys!!

I visited Pep Boys located at 2830 S Hamilton Rd, Columbus, OH 43232. The manager, Stephen, assisted me with my appointment for a FREE Brake System Evaluation and a FREE Alignment Check. Stephen was very thorough and detailed with my inspection. He made sure I was very understanding of what the issue was with my vehicle; he even broke down the issue by providing me with a visual explanation, which always works best for me in order to process what’s going on and to feel reassured that I was not being taken advantage of. Stephen definitely went above and beyond in my opinion, with communicating what was wrong with my vehicle. I would absolutely recommend going to Pep Boys. Stephen didn’t charge me anything for the visit, it was quick; they quickly found the issues; they provided me hard cold proof, and they also gave me printouts as well as sent the information to my phone and email. Needless to say, they got me in very quick to do my inspection, whereas other folks I went to was either not as thorough, much more expensive, and/or could not get me in just for an inspection, at least not anytime soon. Thank you, Stephen, and Pep Boys.

I have had many great experiences at this location and my most recent was no exception. Staff was very good about communicating what was wrong with my vehicle, the price was reasonable given the extent of repairs my vehicle needed (my car is older and has a lot of miles), and they even called me to tell me when the work was complete so that I didn’t have to sit there and wait all day. Staff is also helpful in answering my questions since I don’t know a lot about repairing cars. Would highly recommend!

Beware of this pep boys especially if you are a female. They will scam tf out of you and take advantage of you. I came into get my brakes checked and before I could even check/ask the price of how much it would be they started changing my brakes and rotors. They told me it would be more expensive because my car is “European” but never once told me how much it was going to be until the very end. It ended up being around $1500 in total causing me to have to get a credit card which is absolutely insane when you can buy the parts for less than $500 at any auto part shop. This was around March I got my brakes changed and my brakes are already bad so they clearly didn’t put true “European” brakes on my car or they would’ve lasted longer than 10,000 miles. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the customer service was great but again that is probably because they were scamming me to make a profit.
