I made an appointment to get headlights adjusted and it was very fast only 15 minutes the desk attendant was very nice and the mechanic was very professional and fixed the issues very fast

Mr. T the mechanic there literally did not finish fixing my car because he asked me out on a date and I declined in which he decided he wasn't going to finish putting my car back together. He was my mechanic for about 3 years before this happened. I never thought he would do something like this. And he's married. Please ladies don't allow T to work on your vehicle.

I just bought my sixth and seventh tire here (3rd time I’ve been here) and am seriously questioning why. Don’t bother scheduling an appointment because it still took OVER 2 HOURS for a tire repair. I came in 10 minutes before my appointment and there was one other person in there that was getting their vehicle worked on. They were not busy. My car didn’t get pulled in until 45 minutes after I got there. I had to ask when they were going to start working on it. It then took an hour and a half after that to put two tires on my car. They explained that it only kind of matters when you schedule because of walk-ins and how many people they may have working, etc. For the cherry on top, after they finally finished and I checked out, I realized they didn’t even put caps on my new tires. I went back in to tell them and they said the guy just forgot. Basic attention to detail stuff I’m glad I checked because apparently expediency and quality control is not important here.

I would like to contact someone on behalf of my statement, my name is Kameron Coulter and I was recently at this Pep Boys(Columbia) to get a new car checked out before I bought the car to see if anything was wrong with it and nothing came up. It said I would only need new tires and engine was good, also transmission. But after I bought the car I went to a Pep Boys(Lexington) near me to get it checked just the last time and I came up with a a lot of problems the Previous Pep Boys(Columbia) did not really check on. First, my transmission is out of wax, so I would need a new transmission, and the brakes on the new car needs to be changed(things the Pep Boys(Columbia) did not bother to check. I was going to get my new tires from the Pep Boys in Columbia but because they just didn’t bother to do a real diagnosis on my car, I’m not doing it, ever.

Traveling from Western NC to the SC coast and we undoubtedly hit something going past a wreck,tire went down.Being Sunday evening I didn't think we would find anything open,but the pep boys on broad river Rd in Columbia SC was and got us back on the road even though they were near closing time.I can't say enough good about the technicians at this location Professional,kind and cared enough to get us going as we had to be at our destination that night.

They didn’t have my online appointment that I wasted time booking. Had 1 technician working with 3 people ahead of me. Appointment was at 1:30 and my car wasn’t ready till 6:30. Plus there was grease or whatever on my door and various places and when I mentioned it to the manager he could care less..actually looked like he wanted to fight me lol. Zero customer service with a stank waiting room

4 days in advance I scheduled two appointments on their website at 8am and 9am for new tires and tire rod replacement. Not only did it take until 9:30 ish for them to finally pull my car back. It took them until 10:45 to acknowledge that yes i need a tire rod and they of course tried to up sell me on other stuff I don't need. Then they said at 11:30am it would only take 2 hours more. Other people came in and out before my car was done when I had the earliest appointment. My car still wasn't done at 4pm. Unreal. Never going back.

They didn’t replace the bulbs in my car’s headlights like I asked and the very next day my tire was flat so apparently they didn’t even check the tires they just put air in them. Nobody lets you know when you’re car is ready you just have to keep getting up to check! These services are too expensive for what you get.

Went to pep boys today with my niece. She was having break problems and since pep boys replaced her pads for her, we decided to take it back. Found out it was a pinch break line.
