I came home from a 12-hour shift and my tire blew out. I called Pep Boys and before they closed they were willing to serve me to help me get home safely. They replaced my tire within less than 30 minutes, Jalen D was an excellent help. The entire service team helped call my nerves and got me out feeling 10 times better. I highly recommend coming here to get a tire change or any service it's very affordable.

Another dissatisfied customer. Dwayne at Pep Boys charged a total of $533.04 for a battery replacement, and the wait time was over 4 hours. After speaking with him and politely but firmly discussing the charge, he spoke back in a very practiced manner. This made me realize he overcharges customers all the time and gets away with it. After a few more minutes of discussion, he offered $30 off which brought down the total charge a bit more. There are multiple other reviews with similar encounters. Don't bother replying to this review. I was very close to disputing the charge with my credit card company, but the battery does work.

Don't go to pep boys hopefully corporate reading this I wanted to get my car oil change it took them 3 hours when I ask to take my car back employee got loud and wanted to fight yes holding my car hostage never ever going to this place bad people work here and very dangerous people

Good service, good work, no complaints about the people or the service... but don't waste time with an appointment. I made one for an oil change, showed up 5 minutes early and it took 2 hours (they quoted 90 minutes... still absurd but at least I knew it wouldn't be quick).

I sent an email to reviews the information as mentioned below. Never heard back. Bad management Started brake job $159 ended up paying $1235. They keep coming back I need new rotors then came back I need new caliper. Dealer told me 1 week before that I need resurface rotor and new pads. They refused to put it back with no work. Left me with no choice. They created work. Will never go back and spread the word

We went to Pep Boys to review a Check Engine light, and Caleb and the rest of the crew did an excellent job with keeping us informed and giving us what we needed to get back on the road safely. Work was done quick and no more issues with the Check Engine light.

They tried quoting me $500 for a new battery (which costs $79 right beside them at auto zone), a cabin filter (which is $10), and a left tag light (which is $10) I told them that is insane and they were somehow magically able to lower it to half that price which is still more than any of that would actually cost. It took them TWO AND A HALF hours. I was first one there at 9 am and left at 11:20. I was the only one there for the first hour then two more people walked in. They zip tied my battery down and told me to be careful driving. Ended up charging me $257 for a new battery, tag light, and inspection. Still high but definitely better than the $500 they originally tried to charged me. They definitely tried to take advantage of me and thought I was stupid. Also staff is inappropriate and texted me from my number attached to my appointment. I was there alone stuck with nowhere to go so I played nice. But so inappropriate and weird behavior from this place.

Unprofessional employees. Long wait times even with an appointment. Waited over an hour for an inspection with an appointment. Came back with tons of suggested work. They tried to say some things weren’t working, when I have a report from another auto shop that said it was fine and once they saw the report they said it was okay. The employee said “you should really take care of your car”. I was very offended. Will never come back here again.

I came in today really hoping to fix this issue I came in with and not leave with any others because coming to auto shops always gives me anxiety with how expensive it can be! OV did a great job taking care of me and got me in and out within 20 minutes! I will definitely be coming back to this location for any other car related issues!

I came to Pep boys on South blvd to replace 2 tires. First off let me say the young guys that were doing customer service were very nice and funny. But I was told that my car needed new spark plugs and some other things. I thought that was weird knowing that I recently had a tune up. I was shown a spark plug that was black or burnt. The service was too expensive and I denied. After waiting way too long for my car after paying additional cost for alignment ant tire rotation on the way to work my check engine light came on. I check under my hood and a couple of plugs were loosen. Terrible!. After leaving a review I get a call from someone wanting to know what happened. After telling him he wanted me to allow pep boys to do the spark plug job! WtH?? Are you serious? And he gets offended when I say I was going to write a bad review and let people know to avoid pep boys due to their tactics of over charging and possible tampering! Yes tampering! Technicians don't make mistakes like that..

I can’t even tell y’all how much I am truly grateful for the service I received 1hr before closing. God Bless everyone working this night December 13th. One of my brake pads fell off earlier today and I came in as soon as it fell off to get my brakes fixed up and they helped me out majorly. I already know if I went somewhere else, a different mechanic most likely would not have looked out for me the way these employees did and I tremendously appreciate their hard work and effort tonight. They even informed me on certain parts of my vehicle that needed to be looked at, so that i can get work done on them later on. Big thanks to Duwayne the manager and every employee this night. This year has been a roller coaster for me and Y’all really did me a major favor cause I honestly would’ve been stuck trying to figure this out. God Bless y’all.

I made an appointment online and when I arrived was quoted about a hour wait so I decided to stay and wait for my vehicle. My appointment consisted of a preventative maintenance visit (oil change, tire rotation and alignment). My wait ended up being 2 hours and 25 minutes. When I shared this wait time when checking out there was no apology nor was there a reason given to why my quoted time was so inaccurate. While waiting, there also was no heat at all in the waiting lounge which didn’t make my very lengthy wait time any much better. In addition, my sticker wasn’t replaced in my windshield and my car steering wheel/door handles were left with some sort of residue and not wiped down. I will be having my car serviced at a completely different business due to this very poor service experience I had today at Pep Boys on South Blvd. I hope my feedback is taken into consideration and adjustments are made so other customers do not experience this.

I was recommended to go to this location because the master tech Brian was very good at what he do and I agree. But the front desk people have no clue what they are doing or saying I feel like they gave bad Salesman/CONmen mentality. My experience was not good. I would not go back here or recommend this location.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Tried to take advantage of me & told me my spark plugs were fouled amongst a LIST of other things I “needed” repaired when all that was wrong with my car was the battery. If I hadn’t taken my car elsewhere, they would have charged me $1100. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This place don't have real mechanics. They messed up my battery and then set my car outside their shop unlocked and somebody went into my car and stole all my stuff!

I called this morning about my car and they said they weren't busy, so I came in. I've been waiting almost 3 hours for them to just look at my car to see if there's a coolant leak. Not fix anything, just look at it. Meanwhile there's like 5 workers in the waiting area chilling out and joking around. Not coming here again.

I recently dropped my car off for service and was advised I would receive a call later that day with the diagnosis. Unfortunately, I never received that call. I phoned them the next morning and learned my car had not yet been worked on. Two hours later I decided drop in and get an update and my car was still parked in the same spot I left it in yesterday. There were at least 4-5 employees in lobby area and one who was actually checking out a customer. The others were simply holding up the wall. You have lost a $3000.00 job, and a longtime customer. Years ago, you had a service team that not only cared about the cars, but the customers. The people working there now are too busy having fun instead of doing their jobs.

This place is awful, They had my car for almost 3 months last year, couldn’t fix it, it was broken into while left outside overnight, items were stolen they did not replace said items and not a single employee deserves to be in the automotive field. I’ve ran shops for 10 years and this is exactly the type of shop that gives the industry a bad name. From the CEO down this company is an absolute joke in the automotive industry, and for good reasons. Please stay away from the entire pep boys organization. They work here because they aren’t qualified to work for a higher tier operation.

This was my first time at this pep boys and I had a great experience. Jalen and other staff members were very kind and handled my car promptly.
