Ordered and paid for a tire Sunday did not hear back from them I called Wednesday at 730 am they said they had the tire and to bring in the car. Got there 8 am the desk person Sandra said it would take 45 minutes I waited and hour and a half and my car is still sitting where I left it. I spoke to Xavier who was very rude he told me the technicians come in at 8 it was a few minutes to 10 at this point I told him why would you say it will take 45 minutes. The lady next to me said she was there since 730 and she said Xavier was rude to her also. At this point it's after 10:30 and I'm still waiting. Please be honest with people you have people waiting hours in a cold space with no rest rooms and employees are hanging around ordering breakfast you have Eddie eating breakfast at the desk while 6 people are waiting for hours very unprofessional

Soooo I might be a little old school but I came here for power steering fluid and reservoir.. and Pep Boys don't sell no parts! Imagine that an auto parts that sells no parts....Now the counter guys says it's been like that for two years , it's news to me .If you need to get ripped off by a mechanic this spot is for you , as Pep Boys will hit with a list of stuff that needs "attention" before they even get to the reason why you taking your vehicle in. Easy pass .

Needed to get my battery replaced and went in without an appointment. Kayla (sp?) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, she said it would take about an hour and her estimate was spot on. It was a completely stress-free experience. Happy to recommend them.

Avoid this place for your car services. I rarely write anthing negative about a business I encounter, but I needed to write this one because you need to be careful. I came in requesting a wheel alignment and tire rotation. A few hours after I bring my car in tech calls me and says that I need to have control arm replaced. He says that's what he needs to do to align the wheels. No thanks because I can't leave the car there for couple days, I needed the car later that day so I went to pick it up. When I pick up the car they still charged me 150$ and claimed they did a tire rotation. I check my tires and they were all in the same positions as I brought them in. I wasted my money, my time, and got fooled. These guys are crooks with a smile on their face. Be careful.

This is the first time I have bought my car tires at the store, the experience with the representatives is terrible and fantastic, when you want to buy anything you ask for David, because the other workers are an unbearable treatment, you should look for another job or hire better staff who want to work.

AVOID. This is one of those places that will try to upsell you on a laundry list of things that aren’t actually wrong with your car. You will pay, but they may not actually do the work. Good luck getting your money back as their customer relations team is a disaster and nobody ever gets back to you.

From start to finish I had the absolute BEST experience at this Pep Boys in park slope!!! (354 4th ave.) The reception and attention to the repairs we needed was precise!!! BIG SHOUTOUT to David Mills and his team!!! He was definitely on point, polite, extremely helpful and very much accommodating!!! This had to be by far the BEST car repair experience I had in all of my time driving. The brakes on our car was done in a timely fashion and everything was ON POINT!!! Friendly staff, but too many scheduling issues. Made an appointment, showed up it had been changed to another day without notification. Made another appointment, was told it was ready, arrived half the work not done and had to wait again.

I went to the Brooklyn 4 Avenue store and what should have been a simple tire balance and rotation plus brake flush took way to long, I was called and told my vehicle was ready and come to find out brake flush was not done because rep who checked me in forgot to put it in. I ask him to please get it done and it was another hour waiting around. I ask where the rep was and I was told he's probably on a break yet my car is just sitting in the lot. When I finally saw him I said forget it and left an hour later than I should have. Why is he going to put me in the back of the line when it was his mistake, very dissapointed. I came in at 9:30 am to get out early and due to this unprofessional behavior I left to pick up my wife late. Update, had to bring car back two more times to get steering wheel centered after alignment that was done on my first visit. They said my steering rack was bad but honestly I never had problems with alignment, it was just two years since my last one so since I was there... I really didn't want to keep coming back but steering wheel was bugging me a lot. It's finally back the way it was so hopefully I can stay away from this shop. My steering is quiet as a mouse, smooth and giving no problems so I'm moving on to another shop after warranty for repair is up. Update, apparently the tire rotation was never done as the slow leak on my left rear tire is still the same, if rotated it should be in the front now. I made mistake of not marking tires, this is one of the worst shops I have been too. All my tires are good but for that left rear that loses a few pounds a month. They didn't know about that so they are either crooks or incompetent, stay away from this place... REALLY BAD STREET MECHANICS.

While I had no trouble with the customer service at this location and the work was done relatively quickly(new brake pads and oil change). They failed to properly refasten one of my wheels. Once my car was doing 20mph it felt like I had a flat so I pulled over and checked it. No flat but all of the lugs could be removed easily with my fingers. Fortunately the wheel did not fall off before I pulled over.
