People say hope and faith are lost or missing, but I say otherwise and here is why. I called this morning Sadie to mom who is elderly, her head lights went out. I bought the bulbs and called around and everyone was quoting me 80 to 125 to replace her bulbs. I called this location on San Matteo in Albuquerque and spoke to Jorge. I asked how would they charge my mom to replace her bulbs, he quoted me 30 plus tax, I said ok and I told him I would be there shortly. I got there at approximately 12:15pm and introduced myself and asked if he was Jorge, he said yes, he asked for the bulbs and keys which I handed them to him. He told me to have a seat that it would be a few minutes. So I sat down in the waiting area. I watched his professionalism and watched how he carefully put on his gloves and started with the drivers side. Then he moved to the passenger side. He maintained the trash despite the wind and kite snow that was falling. He closed the hood and threw away the old bulbs, came inside and handed me the keys and said have a nice day ma’am. I said but I have to pay you for what you did and he simply said no ma’am free of charge and have a wonderful day!! I said well I have to do something for you, he said well you can go on Google and write a review for us and I said no problem as soon as I get home I will. So here I am writing this review. This location has earned my respect and future business due to Jorge. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to help an elderly customer Jorge!!

Service above and beyond. I went to get my car battery tested. They tested and gave me a printout of the results. The results looked like the battery would not hold a charge. They put it on the charger for a while and then tested again and confirmed the results. I could tell already from the way the car was starting that there was an issue with the battery, but it was great to have it confirmed with diagnostic equipment. I purchased a new battery and they installed it in just a few minutes. Polite and good service.

I called to order tires from here and they said they would have to order them in so I used their partnership with ebay/caradvise for install and ordered them myself since they did not have them in stock. We had a install date and time settup but the tires had not made it yet so I called them to check. I pulled all of the wheels off my trailers to bring them to them but the guy said they don't do trailer tires which is not true because I have had them done before. They are the same as a econline van. I did not want to argue so I picked them up and took them down to Venado on comanche and San mateo. I got all 10 of them done in about 30-45 minutes and cost me much less. These guys are a small shop but they hustle and save you money.

Went in yesterday cause my jeep compass was giving me some issues and the staff was very helpful even though it was almost time for them to close they still helped me out and was patient appreciate you guys and definitely recommend them

I was told they dont have the best setup to fix the issue so I should go to the dealership instead. Don't make appointments for anything complicated on the weekend, they don't have the techs here to cover it even if their website says they do. In fact, just disregard the info on the website since this autoshop is apparently inferior to others with "not the best set up". Or better yet, go somewhere else that honors their appointments made online and makes sure they have the ability to help the way they advertise they can. Also, they spoke down to me because I'm a woman, a man wouldve have an entirely different conversation. They cut me off before I finished explaining the problem and symptoms and the research and troubleshooting I've already done on the issue. Not a safe business for women if you want to be treated respectfully.

Had a blowout Saturday afternoon and Mike came out to help me change tire and get to shop. Purchased 4 tires and with promotion was about $200 less than I usually pay. I would definitely use them again very friendly and go above and beyond!

I was traveling through town and needed new brakes badly. They were able to get me an appointment almost immediately and got the work done quickly. I was super pleased with how smoothly the whole process went and my car is driving much better now while hauling an RV. I felt they were quite honest.

Michael, the manager refused to honor an appointment for a warrantee tire repair that was made several days in advance. I drive from Belen for the appointment. There is no excuse for this poor of service. They need to find another manager.

The experience was enjoyable. I had to replace a tire. They went out of there way to get my tire from another location on their lunch hour. They worked diligently on my car after receiving the new tire. From the time I walked in then out with everything done was an hour and half. I will be back for any further work required.

Another bad experience with Pep Boys. They broke a sensor on my car and promised to cover the repair, but then I didnt hear back for almost a week. Texted the number they provided several times, but they say they werent getting my texts. Called customer service, and arranged for me to go to a second shop. This is now almost two weeks out from original visit, and the fourth time I have to take time off work to go to Pep Boys. From the moment I walk in it's clear the manager at this second location (Michael) is annoyed. Would not look me in the eye at all during our conversation. I am being very friendly and professional, but talking to him is like pulling teeth, he says "We'll get to it as soon as someone's free." I said No, that is not right. I have an appointment, I've made multiple trips already. He then quoted me a three hour wait. (Keep in mind this is for a small 20-min job to replace a sensor). I took my keys to walk out. He calls after me as I'm walking away "Have a nice day." EDIT: Went directly to Firestone after this, as a walk-in no appointment, and 45 minutes later drove away with a fixed sensor.

Upon dropping my car off I waited for a half hour before anyone even came in to check me on. 3 people in the service area, everyone of them looked at me and knew I was there. Never coming to Pepboys again

Was driving my Motorhome thru Albuquerque and towing my Ram Truck, unfortunately through an error of my own, my two rear tires were about to bust. One of a few shops open on a Sunday on a holiday weekend. Freddie had my tire size and was able to squeeze me in the schedule and got lucky that they had a buy 3 get 1 free tire special. It only took the team an hour to change them, so really quick for the job it was. The team was really friendly and got me on my a lot quicker than I expected. We made it back to GA without any issues. Highly recommend Freddie and his team and would like to thank them. I really appreciate it!

Came in last Thursday to get my truck looked at for a vibration when braking, lead to the staff doing a tire rotation. They showed me pictures of my pads and rotors worked down pretty good plus uneveness. Lead to me being my truck back that follow Saturday to get a full brake service done and the gentleman got my truck feeling like it just came off the showroom floor again. Much props and respect they even stayed late to make sure the job was done correctly. Highly recommend Michael at the front desk and Freddie as the tech.

Rates are very high when Midas is giving the same service for free and Uber inspection is not rocket science that you guys charge 60+ dollars for that. This is just unacceptable
