I've got my gmc yukon denali tuned here they did a great job . But now I'm trying to get my 04 chevy silverado 2wd truck tuned by them and I'm being told I can't get a in-person tune only a mail in tune . Because I did the work on the truck ..and I was told to do all the work on the truck before I got a appointment. I've talked to them on the phone and conversation went well I'd say, about bringing them the truck and dropping it off for 2 or 3 days when my appointment time is . Sorry but I was told to do all I wanted to do to the truck then they would tune it .. it only a truck norris cam kit in it with a 2800 stall with a 4l80 transmission.. very disappointed . It maybe just the person that's emailing with me idk . This type of work not alot of people doing it .. or doing it right. I'm happy with there work .but not this time .

These guys are AWESOME. I am a 35 year master tech and these guys wowed me. Please, let me explain. I built a mild 6.0 LQ4 for my 3/4 work truck. The base tune was damn near spot on to begin with. I made some mechanical modifications after the install and the tuning started as well. These guys can read a data log like a blind librarian reads brail. Sent back a log and they immediately responded with, "There's a vacuum leak." I said bs. I checked with the old propane and brake clean tricks. I visually inspected, watched O2 readings... didn't see anything. They INSISTED there was a vacuum leak. Finally drug the smoke machine out. Guess who was wrong? ME. The new throttle body (pos Jegs FAST knock off) leaked badly around the shaft and IAC. That's not all... as we narrowed down the tuning, he said there must be a fuel leak... you are missing fuel at WOT. Found small leaks in a couple of lines under the truck. Never smelled gas or even noticed... but they did... IN THE DATA LOGS. Anyway, these guys were fantastic and legit proved to me they know EXACTLY what they are doing. They even had suggestions for parts they have had excellent luck with and they were dead on right with those too! If you are doing REMOTE TUNING... These are your people! Can't wait until I'm in NC and we can do the final on a dyno. I will not trust anyone else with tuning.

Mail in Tune for Cam swap did not go great. Works fine enough. Mail in tunes for other Gen 3 LS mods went well. Was recommended for a local street tune upcharge. Why offer a cam tune for mail ins if it really needs a street tune? Had to have my rev limiter RE installed & got attitude after driving across 3 states

Went to get my pcm tuned and a wiring harness. Didn’t take longer than ~5 minutes for them to finish everything. Staff were very helpful and had answers to all of my questions on the phone and in person. Great service and products, highly recommend this place!

I can only comment on my experience with a mail in tune involving a AFM delete for a motor I built to be a stock replacement for my Silverado. I was new to this and had some questions so I called and spoke to someone in tech support. They were very kind, patient, and helpful explaining the process to me. I mailed it and nervously awaited the newly tuned ecm. This was a two day turn around mailing it from greenville SC. After I finally got everything put back together, it fired right up and worked flawlessly. Thank you for walking a newbie through your process, and I will be happy to recommend this service to others.

Fast service and delivers what it promises. I am very happy with the results I got from their PCM tune-up. I have an Envoy XL. Before they tuned it, it felt heavy, acceleration was slow, i would step on it to pass or get on the freeway, the RPM's would get up to 5k, and it wouldn't move. Now, acceleration is great, it shifts gears on time without reaching such a high RPM's, the SUV feels light, my city miles went from 14mpg to 17 or 18, the ride is smooth, engine idle is smooth, and overall very happy.

Hello Internet! This is my 2nd review for this place. 1st one was for a bench tune they did to get my beast running after a new motor/Cam/tans combo was put in that got me down the road and started. Did it sight-unseen and I just brought in the ECU/TCU. Now that is was all broke in and ready for primetime, Kelly and the team there got this thing running to perfection and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend PCM of NC!

They remote tuned my ls3 auto c6. The car has a 231/246 .640/.615 cam, long tubes, 3200 stall converter. They responded quickly and accurately. Any issues I had they gave me an answer or solution. I had this car dyno tuned by 2 separate shops before, both of which failed. My car was dying at idle, lacked a ton of power, and was very inconsistent. PCM of NC fixed all of my problems! Took several emails with data log reviews to get me happy but they delivered. Car runs great now and is consistent. I will be a back for any future mods. Thank you

In a nut-shell, the team at PCM of NC is awesome! I was in a bind with a performance engine in my truck and needed a fix. Mark took my call, talked me through everything and I was able to drop off the ECU and TCU for what my application called for. Sight unseen with not much more than cam-specs and a Dyno sheet from the builder... these dudes put in a bench-tune to get me on the road and this thing runs like a scalded dog already just with that. I will be back to get some fine tuning done when the break-in period is over and I upgrade the gearing. That's a promise. Price was more than fair and for me, in and out in a day given the situation. You just cannot find that kind of help when youre up against a deadline and they got it done!

I contacted PCM of NC to get a email tune for my 2014 Corvette after installing a A&A supercharger. The part of the country where I live the closest reliable tuner is 8 hrs away round trip plus he wanted me to leave my Corvette for a few days. With the help of PCM of NC my Corvette is running really great. I highly recommend them. All emails were quickly replied and turn around times from data logs to new tunes was in less than 24 hrs. I'm from the UK but I own a 2014 Camaro SS and the support over here is pretty much zero so for things such as tuning its a better idea to use someone in the USA that works on these cars day in/day out. After being bitten by a usa tuning scammer (see my other reviews) a few years ago I did quite lot of research to find a company in the USA that had good reputation, the more I researched PCM of NC, the more impressed I was and after a few emails with Kelly explaining my situation I decided to let PCM of NC tune my car via hp tuners. My Camaro is the auto L99 with only 16k, I got a BTR stage 2 cam kit deleting the vvt and DOD, ls7 lifters, che trunnions, 3 bolt pulley, ls2 dogbone tensioner, dual valve springs, k&n, long tube headers, no cats. Once I did the work, I paid pcm of nc my cash and within a day I had a good basemap. After about 6 revisions the car was dialed in. Great power, great idle, drives so smooth, shifts faster I really can't thank PCM of NC enough for their great service, communication and skills, absolutely brilliant company to deal with and hopefully I'll be back in touch with them in the next year or so when I supercharge.

Ordered an electric fan conversion harness for my truck. Got immediate notification that there was about a 1-2 week lead time on making them because of supplier issues. Contacted support to make sure I was ordering the correct harness and they responded quickly via email. Part arrived yesterday(only 5 days since I ordered). Awesome service and part installed without issue. I was replacing an already installed, sub-par harness, so I didn't need to follow the instructions closely, but the instructions included were detailed and easy to follow from what I saw. Thanks again and I will definitely look here first before making any future purchases for my vehicle.

Had a 100% positive experience with PCM of NC! Did an AFM/DOD delete on my 2012 Silverado. Shipped the ECM on Tuesday afternoon and it arrived back to me Thursday morning. Just recently got a tune for a 4.2 vortex inline6 Very pleased also they updated the PCM before turning and it fixed a intermittent problem I was having with reduced engine when cold out the best part now I have traction issues 😁
