Someone give Lamar Morton a raise! I was dumb and locked my keys in my trunk, and when no one could help me, he came to the car and fixed it just like that! He walked across the street to the visual arts center of Richmond and gave me access to my keys again, saving me HOURS of time! Thanks to him, I could go home to my mom for her birthday and not miss it. Sending love from the Visual Arts Center of Richmond! He doesn’t understand how much trouble he saved me from. Life can be crazy, and then there are people like Lamar who come to the rescue.

Lamar, I hope I spelled it right. This man is terrific. He works for this garage, we came just past closing knocked on door. He was referred by a woman that works at office. What a gentleman. Being from Ohio with truck trouble and knowing of no one or garages to help us, God was looking out for us. He was able to steer us in the right direction so we could fix our truck! He helped with suggestions & a quick water fill up and hose clamp! Thank you, kind man! Thank you, Paradise Garage!

Went here after another shop quoted me $1000 to pass inspection. These guys cut the cost to almost a third of that. Went recently and was helped in their closing hours and a team member even test drove the car with me to find out the issue. Couldn’t recommend this shop more

$1000 mistake bringing my car here. Complete misdiagnosis and part replacement. They sent me home with the problem unresolved, a shrug and a lame "it's a Beetle" excuse. I do not recommend bringing a VW to this shop. I paid a second mechanic to do the job right. Never again.

Efficient, friendly, and affordable. Dropped off my car Friday morning for inspection and got a call back before lunch. Also gave notes on what i need to keep an eye on for my next visit. Plus the pugs were very sweet and friendly.

Fantastic turn around time, competitive pricing, and friendly service. I called for a vehicle inspection around 230 and dropped the car off by about 3pm, and received a call that it was ready before close that same afternoon.

I brought my car in for an oil change and they failed to properly secure the cap on my engine oil pan. This caused me to leak oil for a while before I realized what the problem was and took my car somewhere with more competent mechanics. I will not be returning to this garage, and I always tell friends and family to steer clear of it.

My go to shop for all vehicle repairs. They fixed my Land Cruiser this year and my Blazer in 2019. They always charge less than expected and get work done faster than estimated. Thanks guys!

Paradise is a great shop to bring your car too. I can typically figure out what is wrong with my car myself and then shop for the parts before bringing it to them. You can say "i think X is wrong with my vehicle, i have the part here...could you please install it?" and then they get it back to you super fast! I've done that the past two times I've had trouble with my vehicle and just don't have the space or tools required for the job. The service is always fair and the people are always friendly, also they have a really cute little shop dog that snorts and grunts a lot so that's a huge plus.

Yet another auto shop that charges ridiculously high prices for labor and price gouges the customer. Drove away and my car was doing the very same problem now $2,300 later. Called back they said it was fine. Took it to an alignment shop they told me it needed the same part but on the opposite side. That fixed my car and their labor price was much better, and they were also fast.

I needed to find a local garage to repair my vehicle and asked around for recommendations. Paradise came HIGHLY recommended by a neighbor who had been going there for two decades. They were able to fix it the next day as well as give me an oil change and inspection. On the way to pick up my car, my Uber driver also said that this is the best garage in town. They also support local arts and music. My bill was much lower than I was expecting, which is rare in my experience. I will be coming back for any and all issues with my vehicle in the future.

Literally the only place I will ever bring my car. They work quickly. They don't try to upsell you on anything. They give you options when big decisions have to be made. Prices are fantastic.

Took a 2013 hybrid there for a brake sensor issue that was intermittent. They cleared the code and charged me a $65 diag fee. I talked to the tech and told him it was intermittent. Nothing further done. About 3 months later it became a constant DTC. Took it back to paradise and they said they “didn’t work on hybrids”. Well, they do enough to charge me for a diag fee for doing nothing. Avoid.
