Happy to say that after having some misses early, I believe the team at open road automotive has made a change for the better. They worked with me through a bad experience and gained a return customer through their steps to resolve the issue. Respect and appreciation for all parties involved, and my vehicle was quickly back on the road at a reasonable price. Thank you for listening to your customers! 🙏

I took my car in for a suspension issue. The car did take a little long but I’m not mad I’m glad that the problem got solved and taken care of. I want to thank Chris for making sure everything was good before letting me take the car wonderful job.

Open Road offers impeccable service, and is probably the best shop I have ever used. Chris is supremely knowledgeable, communicative and friendly. I brought in my Audi for a second opinion on a thermostat replacement. He quoted me $1k less than my other shop. Even when the aftermarket part turned out to be defective, Chris replaced it and even called a few times afterwards to follow up and check on me and the car. I've already recommended this shop to my brother and his friends.

This was gonna be a 1-2 star review but the owner, Chris, really changed my opinion about the whole ordeal. He took the time to listen and not interrupt me as I explained why I was so disappointed initially. His willingness to work with me and resolve all the issues that had come up during this repair was beyond reproach. He is a very fair businessman and I would highly recommend using Open Road for your automotive repair and maintenance needs.

My first time taking my vehicle to Open Road mechanic shop. I needed an oil change. The oil change was done in no time and seemingly done well. The mechanic and personnel explained everything done and other things needed to be done later if I desired with no hassle from them . Really professionally people. Good job Open Road. Went for an oil change and they beat the price of the dealership by far. Same quality work. Had a problem with the oil filter that was ordered (bad oil ring) so my car leaked. The owner noticed right away and said that he’d have to order another which would take a bit more time but said he’d get me an Uber home so I wouldn’t have to wait. Got me out of there in half the time AND didn’t charge me for the oil change! Was very apologetic even though they had no control over knowing the ring would be bad coming from the place it was ordered from. I informed him that he just gained a lifetime customer. Also note, very clean environment and the receptionists are very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend. -Dame Caples, 2017 Audi A6

I took my two cars for state inspection. Extremely easy to book, very quick to perform the inspection, and very nice customer service. What else could you ask for?

It’s always hard when you have to pay for car repairs- it usually comes up at a tough time when money is right and you can’t be without your vehicle. That has happened to me 2 or 3 times in the last 2 or 3 years. I’ve taken my car here each time. During the last repair, we had a couple of delays in the repair- one was no one’s fault and the other was just one of those things that happens sometimes. It wasn’t fun being without the car or paying for the repairs, but the owner of the shop spoke did what he could to make the situation as painless as it could be. As a former business owner, I know that’s the sign of a someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience.

Originally I posted a good review, but unfortunately I had to change it and I hate putting negative reviews, but want folks to be aware of the dishonest upsell. I was initially very excited to support the local shop and this was my 3rd time to them, but to tell you the truth on the 2nd time they tried to upsell me also, but not a hard upsell. However what broke the camel’s back was after I sent my 16 year old kid there for an oil Change. They strongly recommended we get $3k worth of repairs done immediately as the car was dangerous and the wheel could fall off as the steering rod was in bad shape. I would say my son misheard them if I wasn't on the phone with him and then the repair guy myself. So worried that the car was undrivable I took it to a trusted mechanic and he could not find a thing besides a slight misalignment, which they said was not even in need of attention. Well I ended up taking it to an alignment shop, and having that done, and also inspected for the other issue. Shocker, nothing found. I did meet with the owner afterward and he seemed nice enough and try to claim that it was a miscommunication b/w the mechanic and my kid, which being on the phone, it certainly was not. I would be very wary of this shop, especially if you want a trusted mechanic. Can they do repairs well, I believe so, but be careful of the upsell, of the 3 times we brought cars in, twice they have offered me services I didn't need.

Open Road Automotive. These people are Fantastic. I had to get my oil changed. As I've done business with them in the past, having some work done on my truck, I stopped in to see if they could work me in to change my oil. They were great. I didn't have to wait very long, got everything checked, changed, and was on my way in a lot less time than I had thought it would take. They do great work, and I recommend them highly to everyone. If you need your oil changed, or need automotive repair.Please remember Open Road Automotive.

Overall great experience working with Open Road Auto! I would take away 1 star due to lack of communication while my truck was there. (I had to call the first two days for an update on the diagnosis.) But they made up for it with great customer service at pickup. Will definitely be bringing my truck back when she inevitably needs more repairs lol
