I went to Omar's Auto shop after my car died in Portland and even a tow could not get it started. I told the tow to bring it here and the mechanic got me in on a Friday with 1 hour before closing. He worked on it right away and found the problem within 10 minutes!!! It took just under an hour to repair and when I compared prices of the work online, it was still under what other shops ask for in labor. I am so thankful I took my car to them.

He kindly offered me water and tea with honey, which I truly enjoyed. He is honest and transparent about pricing, which I greatly appreciate. I’m very pleased with my decision to come here today. Having had negative experiences at other shops where I often felt uncomfortable, this visit was a refreshing change. I felt at ease from start to finish and would highly recommend his services to my family and friends. I will definitely be returning as a loyal customer.

I met Omar through my previous employer. I just had him work on my vehicle, and he did an excellent job. He is very polite and curious and all for a reasonable price. Saved me $150 dollars compared to the stealerships price. I believe that I have found my new mechanic. It's very hard to find a good and honest mechanic nowadays. I'm very glad that I met Omar. He's a good dude! 🧐👍

I brought my box truck to get the front brakes and hub looked at. They were brand new but something had gone wrong driving down from Seattle. I thought I might repack the grease to get back to my city but after assessment it was determined that it would be unsafe. Omar gave me a fair price but because of my situation, I had to defer to staying in Portland overnight and wait for the warranty repairs from the mechanic who installed them. It was a long day and Omar let me stay in his lot while I managed my business on the phone. Towards the end of the day, he told me it would be all right if I parked in his lot overnight, and in fact I could have the other mechanic perform the work there! I was speechless, he never asked for a single thing and gave gave gave. So here's a shout out to Omar, support this shop!

I cannot say enough positive things about Omar. The entire process, from diagnosis, to recommendation, to execution was a 5 star experience. Omar got my car in same day, provided a diagnosis and recommendation, and then proceeded to complete the work 2 days ahead of schedule. Car is running better than ever, and Omar is clearly an expert in his field. I will be back!

I recently had a stellar experience with Omar Auto following an unfortunate car accident to my Mazda CX-5. So far the best of the best. I’ve been fixing my car all the time with BMW dealership and I’ve done all kind of services. Recently I had some problems with my 428i and I’ve visited multiples mechanics and peoples that do electrical. Nobody was able to help me. When I found this shop , Omar was there and gave me one of the top customer service possible way better than anywhere else I’ve been before. He diagnosed the car worked for a really short time and figure out right away where the problem was coming from. The service was fast, efficient and I got back my car right away everything smooth with it and I’l drive it right now worry free. If anybody has any problem with his German car, he is the right guy to go to if you want to avoid stopping multiples times and all the headaches that comes with it. So far best of the best in Portland Oregon and the whole Washington, Oregon Area. Recommend him and will go back to him if anything happens with my car. If anybody needs body shop work too he recommended me one of the best body shops in the city that do clean work and fast. Professionals that don’t waiste your time and go straight to the point.
