I took our MattLaw truck in to the Olin Mott location on E Hillsborough Ave this week to get a nail removed from the tire. The service I received from Karl Newby and his staff was impeccable. If you need tires or service, you can’t find a better place!

I went here today in a panic because I lost a lug nut on my front tire and had an hour and a half ride home and it was getting dark. The gentleman at the desk confirmed the size needed, put it on and had me on my way in minutes. Maybe it doesn't sound like much, but to a female who knows very little about vehicles yet drives a ton of miles on I-4, I was very nervous... This visit eased my nerves immediately. Thanks so much for quality customer service!!

was a pleasure. got 4 new tires yesterday great customer service and price. I literally drove by saw the place stopped in,he gave me a few different options on tires I picked a set an they slipped me in right then an there. even tho there were only open till 12 an it's now almost 11. I'll definitely be back in the future if I ever need tires.

Karl, Bryan, and Scotty went above and beyond to fix my trailer situation and they did it at an incredibly reasonable price. And the customer was just impeccable. Some of the nicest guys I've ever worked with and it was my 1st time coming here and they made me feel like they've known me for 20 years and took care of my problem. Will definitely be coming back and they've earned a life long customer

I feel like I have been conned. My initial stop at Olin Mott on E. Hillsborough was to have my car's rear passenger tire's valve stem checked and/or replaced. I ended up with a large puncture in my tire that was not present before. I took a video, and honestly, it looked like it had just happened, like the mechanic had just done it. I'm having to spend $300 on a new tire for something that could have been fixed for $35/$40. I'm infuriated!

It was almost closing time and I didn't realize it when I arrived at Olin Mott Tire Store on E. Hillsborough Ave. Once I realized it was near closing time I turned to walk out of the store. Mr. Darin spoke up.... How May I Help You? I replied, I will come back tomorrow since it is near closing time. Mr. Darin said, I can help you. I was touched and I received help. I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience with Olin Mott Automotive Services. I brought my vehicle in for what I was told were necessary repairs to the crankshaft sensor and catalytic converter. After four days, I was informed that the work was completed, only to find myself back at square one less than a week later. Upon returning, I was told by Darin, one of their staff members, that the issue could no longer be fixed. This left me perplexed and frustrated, considering the initial diagnosis and supposed repairs. To add to the disappointment, when I inquired about a possible refund due to the persisting problem, I was met with rudeness and a flat-out refusal from Darin despite my vehicle still misfiring after their "supposed fix". This lack of accountability and refusal to address the ongoing problem not only reflects poorly on their professionalism but also leaves me questioning the integrity of their services. I expected better from a reputable automotive service center like Olin Mott. Unfortunately, my experience has left me with unresolved issues and a sense of dissatisfaction. If this issue is not going to be resolved regarding my refund I will be reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau tomorrow!

People from Hillsborough County and everyone else. Do not come to this location or maybe any other location. These people are scammers. I spent 5-600.00 on my truck. On tie rods. Just came from another shop. And they told me it was not the tie rods. So I spend all this money on the wrong part. And they told me nothing after I left. By the way these are new people in that shop.

Quality service has gone down at the hillsborough location since the older staff retired. They didn't rotate and balance my tires when I asked them to. There's now a card fee.

The worst customer service ever..they don’t know how to simple maintenance on work vehicles..the service managers are RUDE…they return your vehicle worst that it went in..do your self a favor and GO to a different mechanic shop. They also over charge for repairs …SCAMMERS

I've been using Olin Mott since 2016. I've had nothing but great experiences. Financially painful sometimes, but fair and reasonable. I mean my vehicle is 16yrs old and almost 200k milage, expensive parts are going to break down. They are attentive and courteous. *2023 update- I have a different vehicle now that has had its first major repair. The parts purchased turned out to be defective, Olin Mott has graciously and consistently fixed the problem on their own dime after my initial repair cost. Now that is customer service!

The Olin Mott Tire Store on East Hillsborough is a good store they changed my sister's four tires in less than 2 hours that's with balancing test driving Plus they were very polite and courteous and the best part is it only cost $975 for four brand new tires plus all the work that's a good deal thank you Olin Mott Tire

They were a good place to get your tire changed they change all four tires and balance them and test drove it to make sure it rides smooth all that in 2 hours I recommend anybody that wants there tires fixed go there they also have a mechanic shop so they do it all it's a win win I definitely would go there and I highly recommend them

We just installed some Michelin RV tires and folks here were great. Karl is a master at multitasking (they stay busy), very professional and knows commercial truck tires. He made some very sound recommendations (which we followed) and we got the tires I wanted at a great price. We also had them check the alignment after tire balance and install. It was all done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place and will bring my future business here.
