I was very grateful that I walked in on a busy Monday afternoon and they changed my tire and had me out within 20 minutes. The owner was gracious and accommodating. Price was super affordable too. I’ll be recommending this place to peers and returning myself.

OB Tire Center is hands down the best! Wally, Michael, David (and the rest of the crew) are incredibly friendly and professional, even when they are super busy. We were about to leave for a road trip to Lake Arrowhead, but one of our tires just wouldn’t hold pressure. They assured me they’d take care of it, and they delivered! I left my minivan with them, and just a few hours later, I got the call that it was all set. They fixed the leak, and my family and I were able to head out for a relaxing vacation without a hitch. Huge thanks to the OB Tire Center team—you’ve earned a loyal customer for life!

THESE GUYS SCAMMED ME DO NOT GO HERE!! I recently bought a full set of tires from this place. They had trouble finding the correct size so I was in my vehicle driving away as the owner flagged me down to tell me he had found a set that will fit. I said “cool let’s do it” and they proceeded to remove the existing tires and rim the set they had. The set they had were not the same size as my tires but they did fit the rims. As I was paying I noticed the price was low (under $300) so I looked closer and realized they had put used tires on my vehicle. They were already on so I went ahead and purchased them and left. THREE DAYS INTO DRIVING ON THEM THE TIRES BEGAN TO COMPLETELY SELF DESTRUCT!!! One by one the tread of each tire peeled completely off on the freeway almost causing me to have a severe accident while simultaneously beating my vehicle up causing many dents and marks all over the body by the wheel well. I replaced the set they had sold me with new tires at a more reputable tire shop. When I contacted OB tire to inform them what had happened, they had me send pics and offered me less than a 40% refund which I thought was odd, but “hey it’s better than nothing” I thought to myself. After not receiving any refund I contacted OB tire again and when I mentioned the refund the man on the phone began trying to argue with me about it and said “hey, they were used tires, maybe you should buy new ones next time”. I felt so taken advantage of and was so frustrated at this point I told him to just have the owner call me and left my phone number. I have still not heard back from them and have not received a dollar of refund money.

These guys came in so clutch when I got a sidewall puncture on Nimitz and w..pt Loma... got a donut on but was in the middle of a work day with 4 dogs in the van and didn't want to risk driving on the donut all the way to North Park so the tow driver strongly suggested replacing the tire here in OB. Showed up, got a new tire, fast and friendly service and reasonably priced. Thank you so much

Got scammed here last week straight up. Ended up getting my car towed to a different place. This place isn’t a place for women to have services fairly provided to them, they treat you like an idiot and take advantage of you.

They repaired a tire for me for a very reasonable price, and so I brought my other vehicle in for some mechanical work. They did a good job and seem trustworthy, so I will be returning for future needs.

I had been putting off an oil change until I got a screw in my tire last night (cool, cool, cool), so I showed up when they opened and they replaced my tire, changed my oil, and had me out in about 2 hours. They were professional, kind, reasonably priced and so helpful! I will definitely be back

I was in such a tight spot (thanks Biden), having only 1/2 of the cost. They didn't fix my tire, they put a better one on instead. I cannot understand how these wonderful people can make a living, feed and support their families while giving away some of their necessities, I don't know. But grateful, nothing less, I am. As a matter a fact, words cannot describe what I feel for them.

I’m age 50, and I have never been to auto place where I’m as confident in the service as I am at OB Tire. These guys are honest, knowledgeable, efficient, respectful, friendly, great priced, and so much more! (Wally is my favorite). I love this shop.

These guys always treat me with respect, and they remember me by name. I went there today for an oil change and tire rotation. My car’s engine is more quiet and the car handles better over all. I highly recommend OB tire center to anyone that doesn’t work on cars regularly. These guys are professionals!

I brought my Toyota in today to get my 4 tires changed. Initially I dealt with Michael with pricing and then interacted with David and Wally. These guys are very friendly, helpful and gave me a great price that is unmatched elsewhere. I went to these guys a few years back with my previous Hyundai car aswell and they are always very professional, very honest and super attentive. I would highly recommend this tire store for any of your car needs especially tire replacement.

The reviews don't lie. This is a great place to take your vehicle. I called about a patch. Couldn't patch it so we put four brand new tires on it. Had me in and out in. The location is great for your wait went to the beach. Would highly recommend

I had planned on making this my new car repair shop after my old place shut down. When my check engine light came on it was time to bite the bullet. Well David was so nice and told me to bring it in to see what was going on (mind you it was then end of the day). Turns out I needed new spark plugs & coils. Left the car and had it back in 2 days. Car is running like a champ. Thanks David & OB Tire Repair crew :)

One of the best mechanic shops there is. Our car decided to have the splash shield under the engine bay fall half-way off on our trip to San Diego, and then drag on the road. Tried removing it myself by parking the car half on a sidewalk, didn’t work. AAA came and couldn’t help as usual. And all the other mechanic shops in the area were closed, except this one. With 30 minutes left in their hours, they took us in right away, no questions asked. Charged a very good price to remove it so we could make our way back home 2.5 hours away. Everyone was super friendly and kind. This is a Family-Run business that is honest, and very happy to do what they do. A+++ Customer Service and Quality Workmanship. This will be our go-to shop for any vehicle related matters in San Diego from now on. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

The best of the best. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times they’ve been there for me. Being a Lyft & Uber driver in San Diego, with its many dips and potholes, does a real number on my tires, needless to say. These guys come through in a pinch every single time to get me back on road in a jiffy. Plus they’re located 2 blocks away from my house. Give them your business, you won’t regret it!!! These guys are great! Friendly, knowledgeable, quick and honest.They took my car in without appointment during the Monday’s big flood as my window wipers died. They found the issue, quoted a reasonable price and I got my car n back within 36 hours. They even showed me the part that had to be replaced! First time EVER I don’t feel as I was taken advantage of. Very honest My new mechanic 💕

This was the best experience I’ve ever had getting tires and also one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever received. Thank you Ocean Beach Tire, especially Wally who was helping me from start to finish. My service requested was a couple new tires, alignment and an oil change which Wally gave me a great quote on. Best price I’ve found for the quality of work and value. I’m beyond grateful I went with a friends recommendation to come here, as it was my first time. I couldn’t recommend this place more and I will definitely be going back for future car maintenance.

Wow! These guys are fantastic! Friendly, courteous, efficient and right on the money. I’ve had a few issues in recent months with both our cars. At relatively little notice, the guys have slotted me in and had the vehicle back to me in short time. I highly recommend this family owned business to any and everybody! Reliable, great communication, excellent work and all for a good price. I’ll be using them as my sole auto repairer and tyre shop.
