Gone to hank for 15 or more years and have been very satisfied with his work and have referred several others to his business . Is very knowledgeable and always finishes the work on schedule. Will not use any other automotive business in this area . I give him a five star rating .

Was very pleased with the service. Everything was explained in detail and the issue repaired. Cost was what I was told it would be, a few bucks cheaper actually. My old mechanic just retired and I think I found my new mechanic.

Had an issue with the start/stop on my vehicle that the dealer’s shop dismissed (such as scheduling the appointment the day after the warranty expired). Hank and his crew took the time to trouble shoot and fix it. 6-months and no issues. Great service all the time!

I've had the pleasure of using Hank's services for over three years for inspections, regular maintenance, and miscellaneous issues, and I can't recommend Oak Hill Automotive enough. The customer service is outstanding and is a shining beacon of what you’d expect Texan customer service to represent. Communication is very transparent with clear expectations. If there’s a problem, Hank will explain it in layman’s terms so you can understand. If he says something can be done, he’ll do it. If he says he’ll call you, you’ll get a call. Lord knows how rare it is these days to find someone who actually does what they say they’ll do. What’s even more impressive is that Hank has maintained reasonable pricing even throughout the past four years’ worth of COVID and car part inflation, a courtesy that my auto insurance company has not extended me. For the quality of service he’s offering, he would 100% be justified in raising prices (don’t tell him I said that). In summary, if you live in South Austin, Hank is the man you need for any of your car troubles. You will not find better value and customer service elsewhere.

My wife and I have been going to Oak Hill Automotive for the last 3+ years since we moved to Texas. Hank and his family run an awesome shop. From safety inspections to regular service, he has been able to assist us with all of our automotive needs. The work they do is top notch, and he will be very candid with you about what you MUST do versus what would be “nice” to do - something that comes in very handy when you’re balancing the automotive budget.

Two words to start with...trust and thoroughness. Needed an oil change, and troubleshooting an unusual fuel issue, which they solved and fixed. They fix things that need fixing and tell you about things that will likely need close watching. It's an excellent business and that's why I go to Oak Hill Automotive exclusively.

I brought my car in to Oak Hill Auto to (1) fix rodent damage and (2) troubleshoot malfunction alerts that the local dealership couldn't figure out. Their reviews were good and when I called, the owner answered all of my questions before I dropped the vehicle off the following week. The communication was really great and they fixed all of my issues within a week. The pricing was fair and you can tell that they take pride in how they run their business. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a no-BS experience when it comes to automotive repair or service.

Oak Hill Automotive and the owner/mechanic, Hank are awesome! I am a Realtor and my car is my office/lifeboat and I need it to be in excellent working condition. I have taken my vehicle to his shop for 3 different major repairs and my most recent routine oil change this past year after having been taken advantage of at other repair shops the previous year. I can't say enough about how glad I am to have found an honest, ethical, and extremely knowledgeable mechanic who doesn't shy away from giving you the truth about needed repairs without overcharging. I was very satisfied with the service I received at 0ak hill automotive-arrived at 8.30am was told it would take 2 hours from time of arrival, which was absolutely on time-I must add that the waiting was "quite luxurious" compared to most places-Would definately return
