I think the gentleman that helps me his name was Adam but regardless everyone at this location was super nice and professional. I got a flat tire early on a Sunday morning and they patched it for me so quickly I couldn’t be more thankful for these folks!!!

The staff over at the NTB on Long Street are amazing. I've been taking my car there for maintenance and repairs since I moved to the area. They always take really good care of me. I highly recommend them!

We had a dead battery and needed the new one installed. Was recommended this location. Upon arrival, it was clear that they were very busy with lots of customers. But Sallie went out of her way to help us install the new battery, and we were quickly on our way. I appreciate her going above and beyond to help us out and would recommend this location.

Amazing service. My tire got a screw in it and they were able to repair it for me. They were fast and very friendly. Second time I have been to NTB and it has been a pleasant experience each time.

I got a free brake inspection and then had my front brake pads and rotors replaced all within two hours. I was also given an unexpected discount at checkout which i appreciated. I will be returning here for future automotive needs.

I had a nail in my tire and started somewhere else in town. They said it couldn’t be patched but wanted to sell me a full set of four tires for $1600. I came to NTB, they worked me in, patched the tire and got me back in the road in an hour. Wonderful experience!

I've never been to an NTB store before, but fate and circumstances led me to this store yesterday. I was greeted by Sallie who heard my tale of woe and turned herself into a pretzel getting the 4 tires I needed for the right price. I had to get these tires installed yesterday. Sallie and the crack NTB team worked me into their already busy schedule and got me back on the road. Sincere thanks to Sallie and the terrific crew who did a masterful job under the gun. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I returned to NTB/Mavis Automotive on Long Street in Charlottesville on Thursday, 11/7/2024, to have tires installed and an oil change. I had called earlier to confirm that the online appointment I made had gone through. When I spoke with Manager, Chris 2.0, he not only confirmed the appointments, but at his suggestion, he also confirmed that the tires were in stock. Even though I was buying low-cost tires, Chris 2.0 didn't try to upsell me to higher cost brands. Dropping off the car was easy, as was checking on the status of the work when the shop reached out to me to show me how a wheel lug nut and stud had to be replaced. The work took a reasonable amount of time and checkout was easy. Lastly, when setting the appointment online, I obtained a Mavis credit card that I used for the purchase and qualified for 6 months of 0% financing and a $75 rebate. NTB/Mavis has become my go-to place for tires, inspections, maintenance and repairs. Thank you, Chris 2.0 👍

I'm from out of town and was driving to Charlottesville for a doctor's appointment when I ended up on the side of the road with a flat tire. Long story short, I was towed to NTB (which I'd found with an online search since I'm not from the area). I was immediately welcomed and taken care of. 4 new tires later (all-wheel drive, so this was unavoidable) at a great deal, and a discount on top of that, Sally got me on my way and I managed to just barely make my appt! Great customer service and a comfortable waiting room.

Listen, they haven’t even fixed my car yet and I already have to give them five stars simply because of Sally, who is probably the kindest human I’ve ever met. After watching her calmly and politely handle an elderly, disgruntled customer, she told me she always treats folks like him as though they’re her grandparents. Shortly after, she spoke with another customer’s mother over the phone, assuring the mother that she’d treat the customer like her own child and only wants her to be safe on the road. It truly warmed my heart. Everyone should be more like Sally.

Payed over $500 for pads and rotors & less than 2k miles on the brakes and already scoring. Probably due to them using cheap car quest pads. Would give 0 stars if possible. Jiffy Lube in pantops charged 380$ to replace pads and rotors and put full ceramic Silent stop brake pads. Buyer beware

This NTB location is THE PLACE to go. A couple months ago I had some serious tire trouble and Chris had my back big time!! Sally is wonderful, and most recently made sure that my car was fixed right away before a long road trip. I LOVE this crew so much, and I’ll continue to be a loyal customer. 🙏
