I had an excellent experience at NTB! I needed a tire fix at the last minute, and they graciously squeezed me in right before closing. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was taken care of. Thank you NTB for your outstanding service! I highly recommend this place! ☺️

Called up here around 5:50 PM This evening- mind you, they close at 6 PM. I was in need of a battery for my vehicle. Terry was quick to assist me and made me feel comfortable even with the the time being right at close. Thanks to Terry. I didn’t have to miss a day of work tomorrow and I really appreciate that. Great customer service from a person who genuinely seemed to care for others and enjoy his job.

I rarely write reviews, but I will for this place. I tried them because of their close location, availability and generally positive reviews. I had a totally flat tire on a car with no spare, so had to get towed there. This place was great. I watched them handle business with the person in front of me. I used to work as an engineer for GM, so I know a bit about cars. The issue the person had could have been used to call for all kinds of work and the customer obviously didn't know a lot about cars. Instead, they gave him good practical advice and handled things very honestly with him. I got the same service with my tire. They repaired it for very little cost. The guy from the garage and the guy working the front that I spoke with seemed to be good, honest folks... Just the kind of people you want taking care of you. I'll definitely come back.

I had a blowout on Saturday night in my business as a taxi driver is dependent on being able to work on Sunday. I was happy that NTB was open on Sunday and so I went to the one nearest me the guy on duty there seemed totally uninterested in doing business with me. I ask him for the cost of replacing the blowout tire and he said something got $278 and then I asked him about doing an entire set since I knew my tires were getting worn. He went out and took a look and said you don’t need a full set of tires and I asked him well. Suppose I were to get one a full set. How much would the charge be and then he said something like $1100 and I asked him so you’re just multiplying the price of one by four is that correct and he said yes I didn’t told him. I’m sorry I’m taking my business elsewhere. I went over to a nearby Firestone Also open on Sunday and was cheerfully greeted, and they confirmed that my tires were warned and gave me four for the price of three for a little over $700 thus I give this particular NTB branch located on North Mopac in Austin Texas, a well-deserved one star rating

Update, new crew over here. Came in today and this place still rocks! Lonnie the mechanic is fantastic. Daniel at the counter took good care. Thanks Fellas! Andy and Jared and the guys at the Mopac near Steck location are great. They did my shocks and struts and did a fantastic job at a very fair price. Honest, experienced, skilled, great customer service. Thanks Guys!

Brought my car to NTB in North Austin in Mopac for a tire replacement (I replaced a flat earlier in the day) and they were incredibly helpful/professional. Didn’t even charge me when we found out the old tire worked. Highly recommend!

Found a nail in a front tire, grumbled about it. My usual tire shop is closed on Saturdays so I thought I'd give this place a try. Online appointment scheduling was easy. The shop is busy so when I got there I waited a couple minutes for someone to snag my keys and hear the problem. The actual repair took longer than I expected, but that's only because their tech was smart enough to check ALL my tires for nails, not just the one I pointed out. They ended up finding another one on a rear tire. While I was happy with my service another 'customer' showed up with no appointment wanting an oil change and grousing about having to wait for some time to open up for them to do the work. If you are the kind of person who expects white glove service, fancy waiting areas and has no chill, this is not your shop. First Texas Honda will take good care of you. If you've got some patience and understand how cars work this place does a good job.

My husband thought he had a flat so we came to replace it. The amazing guys here took a look and found out that the tire was fine and they looked at the rest of the tires as well free of charge. We are so happy by the amazing and honest customer service. Definitely will be back in the future for any tire needs.

Terry got me taken care of immediately and explained the root cause and educated me about tire sensors to help me to make an informed decision. Service was quick and comprehensive and fairly priced. I have been and will continue to take my Tahoe to NTB for all of my tire and battery needs.

Terry was incredibly kind and helpful! I stopped by last minute with a nail in my tire, having never been there before. He was so patient and managed to fix my tire, even though I was certain it couldn’t be patched. I’m very grateful for Terry and his team!

I came to NTB because I believe I had a nail in my tire. I came after work and walked in and Mr. Terry said welcome. First sign of good customer service. I told him what was going on he told me they will get right to my car and that is what they did. Mr. Terry at the NTB store located on Mopac was very helpful and wonderful customer service. I will be back again. Hopefully no time soon

I used to shop at a higher volume store, but these guys won me over by paying attention. Every time I came for the past couple of years multiple cars, many tires; Able, Jerry and the other guys are fantastic! They actually know things about cars and trucks. My next trip will be the brakes for my personal ride!

Visited this location a few weeks ago on a Sunday because my regular place was closed. One of my tires had lost a lot of air overnight so after airing it up took it here to see if there was a nail or other problem. The gentleman at the desk scoffed when I told him it'd been a month or two since last airing up my tires. He said the low pressure warning was probably because of the change in temperature but they'd take a look. Instead of putting it on a lift (they were not busy and one was open) he and another employee just visually scanned things while I was parked and had me drive slowly to check for a nail. They didn't see anything so sent me on my way. A couple of days later I luckily saw the nail they missed and took it elsewhere to get repaired.

After making an appointment. Daniel seems to be the actor in charge. He has no idea what he is doing. Plan on just watching him run around and accomplish little to nothing while his customers pile up. He has had me waiting for 35 min for a tire quote, only 2 customers in the store. Has 0 empathy for people's time. He handles one at a time like a child or someone operating within a spectrum of unstable mental health. Will not be returning

Here is what happened! 1) Brought in my car with a slow leak in one tire. it had four nice Falkens on it 2) Mechanics said they could not get the plug to work. 3) There was something unsatisfactory that happened where I wanted a Falken to match my other three tires, so they ordered it and said they would have it in two days. 4) They put on some shop brand of tire, Sailun Atrezzo SH408 BK SL 5) AND it was rated not a good tire as much as the Falken I had had. 6) I told them I would only drive a little bit. They said yes, please keep that tire in new condition 7) I tried not to drive my car much! 8) The new Falken I'd paid for never got there, even after a week. 9) I gave the store a bad rating on Google 10 Some manager called me saying it would give her a black mark on her record and she was leaving the store to go do a training, but you guys would give me a free oil change (possibly her name was Jade, but probably I forgot her name.) 11) she sounded sweet so I let her do that to me Now I want my free oil change, please! And NTB/Mavis is losing me as a customer since your Contact Us form is broken (i think the ajax is broken where I tried to select TX for Texas. it never loaded the choices.) Date was 03/28/2024, invoice number 443700003962.

Super helpful, and open on Sundays. Had a flat from a nail, and they assessed it and switched it out with my spare for no charge! (I have my warranties through someone else, so that’s why they just switched it out) Thanks!
