Once again I received outstanding customer service at Northwest Imports. I feel compelled to write a review to inform other customers that there is an auto repair shop that really cares about their customers. The first time I brought my car to Northwest was over a year ago, and I was so impressed by the employees, the service, and the price of my repair. Well the first visit was not a fluke. From the moment I walked into the shop on my 2nd visit, nearly a year later, I was greeted with a friendly hello, and a "how can we make your day better " welcome. The service manager, Bob, walked in from the garage and recognized me, and not only did he remember me he also remembered most of my service needs from over a year ago. I've gone to other shops on a more regular basis to change my oil, buy tires, and have my brakes fixed. I go to the same places, most of the same employees, and not once has someone remembered me to extent that Bob did. The other employees that I engaged with over the two-day repair were just as impressive. Ross was friendly and joined in the conversation with Bob and me. The service technician Rudy worked with Bob to diagnosis my cars problem. They fixed my car, and the repair was done on the day and time as promised. Andrew followed with instructions on how to pickup my car after hours. He texted me promptly and I had a seamless pickup. Just like my first visit to Northwest Imports the repair cost was lower than the estimate they gave me..this is unusal at repair shops. Whatever the owner, and shop foreman Zac is doing in hiring employees he knows what to look for in those interviews. Great Porsche indie shop in Austin! I was able to get my oil change at an incredible price here as well as constant updates on the process. Bob and Ross were stellar in their customer service as well.

Brought these guys our older Honda that we passed down to my daughter. Excellent communication with Ross and Bob. They evaluated the car and gave me their recommendations. I already trusted them and asked them to proceed with the work. Got the car back after one day of starting the work. Excellent work. My daughter is so pleased with how the car runs and drives now. This is my go-to shop from now on. I'm a car guy myself but not a mechanic. More on the body repair side. But I know a great shop when I see one. Thanks guys!

Had work done here and it was quick and painless. Reasonably priced. Bob walked me through the work done and answered all my questions. I will be coming back here for any future work that is needed on my car. Thanks for the great job. It was much appreciated!

Despite the cost of the repair, we were very pleased with the service, promptness and communication provided. The cost came mainly from the price of the part which was only available from BMW. Not NW Imports’ fault.

Brought my car in for work the dealer said was needed. My experience with NW Imports exceeded my expectations in the following ways 1) scheduling was very easy 2) staff was SUPER friendly and informative 3) prices were way better than a dealership (like > $100 less) and finally - 4) they actually said that work didn't need to be done and said I should bring it back in a few months and they could do it then...this kind of honesty is very refreshing.

I've been taking my Japanese and Euro sports cars to these guys since I moved back to Austin in 2015. Recently moved to S Austin and tried a new place, but ended up bringing my Audi S3 back there for Northwest Imports to do it right. Bob and his team are communicative, fast, and they fix the right stuff. I'm going to continue to drive 35 minutes out of my way to bring my car there because I trust this spot.

Look no further. This is where you'll get 100% satisfaction on the service. I was on a business trip yesterday and my car broke. I searched for a good mechanics in this area. I saw this place with 480 reviews, all 5-stars. I was very skeptical. I thought they pay their customers to leave only 5-star reviews. But I had no choice because I had to travel to another city. I gave it a shot hoping not to be ripped off too badly. As it turned out, they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. And the service they provided was a prove that they put their customer's interest in front of theirs! The broken part of my car was beyond repair, but they did their best to make it safe to drive instead of ordering parts and charging on labor. Thank you, Bob and Andrew. I can only wish I had local mechanics like you.

I had my 2017 Porsche Boxster repaired by Northwest Imports. I was looking for an independent repair shop to take my cars to and I thought I would give these guys a try. Turned out to be one of my better decisions. These guys are great. I mainly dealt with Andrew Wostarek who I highly recommend. They keep in constant communication making sure all my questions were answered and made the repair in a timely fashion. The price was reasonable, the work they did was excellent, and they followed up later to make sure all was well with the car. Great shop, great guys, highly recommended. Really nice to have a local shop that you trust.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. I have never trusted any auto repair service without being skeptical. These guys here have the knowledge, the professional demeanor and offer great honest prices for the outstanding work they perform. Having trust goes a very long way. I continue to refer my friends and family as we do not have any reservations for their work. My bmw and 4 runner have lasted and continue to run very efficiently over many years. Again, great service for auto repairs. I hate ever going to the dealer- what a ripoff. Thanks northwest imports! Bob and Andrew are fantastic to work with... Until next visit.

Thank you for the service you provided in resolving the recent issue with my Audi. Your timely response and the effective resolution of the problem were greatly appreciated. I am particularly thankful for how well you (service manager) reciprocated to my feedback. I am appalled by the horrendous and rude service at Audi North Austin. The customer service was abysmal, and after being charged $2200, the work on my vehicle was still incomplete. Despite numerous calls and lodging a complaint with the service manager, there was no proper communication or resolution. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Great group of guys, they don't try to sell you services you don't need. They thoroughly look at all aspects of your vehicle and let you know their recommendations. They do a good job communicating and keeping you informed of your vehicles condition.

I have been a customer at Northwest for several years now and they always take care of any issue I have regarding the 3 cars they work on. They let me know what needs to be done and even check other things just in case. Everyone is super friendly and the work is always done in the time they predict and to completion. I have used Northwest imports for 20 years (with multiple vehicles including Porsche, Audi, Mercedes and Toyota) and always get the best service, advice and quality with maintenance or repair work. Also always beat the dealer pricing. I strongly recommend them for all you vehicle needs.

If I could give Northwest Imports more than 5 stars I would. My family has been a customer of them for years. They have always had the best interest of the customer and their car in mind. When I was looking at buying my first car, I bought it with Northwest Imports in mind as my service provider. Bob and Andrew communicate very well to set expectations on services. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for good, honest work on their car.

The crew is very knowledgable and give honest advice, even when they don't have anything to profit of! I took my car for an oil change and the guy noticed cracks in the bushings, and he suggested we talk to the dealer and get it covered under the warranty! what else can I say? I had previous cars that we repaired at this business and we were always satisfied.

Had my Subaru serviced here, and they were quick and provided a very detailed report of the work needed with pictures. I was able to get what I needed repair quickly and for a fair cost. Would recommend them to anyone.

If only my posting ability was as good as the work that Northwest Imports does. I've posted an older review in error but my recent trip this month was just as good. As always, the work is complete and accurate. I could go elsewhere for an oil change: I trust NW Import to do it right and to stand by their work and for me, it's more than worth it. A great crew and am so glad I found them years ago. I highly recommend Northwest Imports (and, they have snacks). ; ) Beth

Recently had a fan replaced on our 2011 Volvo XC70 and like always, NWI did a great job! The turn around time was quick and they had our vehicle up and running in no time! Highly recommend them for any import service!

Northwest Imports has been my repair shop for all of my cars (Mercedes, Porsches and Lamborghinis) for about 20 years. From my first completed service, I knew that David Wostarek is the quintessential "honest mechanic" offering excellent service at a fair price. Zac, the best mechanic that I have ever met, can repair anything. I have completed confidence in his abilities. If Zac can't repair it means it can't be repaired. Carl Hunter

These guys know what they are doing. I trust them completely with any of our cars. Have been going here for years and will continue. People come in from dealer service to have to get things fixed that dealers push on them. I won't ever get service from a dealer.
