If I could give this company a 0 I definitely would. First of all I called this company upon arrival and asked how much for a tire and if they had the tire that I needed. I was told that they did and that it would be $50. Mind you my tire blew out and I was practically riding on my rim with my children in the vehicle and it was getting dark. I drove a good 5 miles. When I got there I was told that the total would be $60 and that he was going to get the tire. I was then told that they didn’t have the tire and to “google” another tire shop! This is completely unacceptable considering I called before I came! Please avoid this place at all costs! They are unethical and greedy!

I’ve taken several cars in a total of 6 times. These guys are not only smart and honest but they go the extra mile making sure the vehicle is totally ready to go upon pickup. I’ve been to a lot of shops in the city and north end is now my go to general mechanic shop. They are fast on turn around and great at finding obscure parts to boot!

Thank you to the Northend Auto Repair & Tires Team for taking good care of my only vehicle that I use daily. This team were so nice and accurate with their work, they were so patience to understand and diagnose the mechanical problem in my vehicle, their price and quotes were reasonable compared to the number of services they've completed to my vehicle. I highly recommend them, and especial thank you to Yehia the Manager who has 10/10, A+ customer service skills. :)

I had a negative experience at Northend Auto Repair, located at 8900 Oakland Ave, Detroit, MI. They misrepresented the necessity of certain parts and services, charged me for work that was never performed, and engaged in deceptive practices. I recommend seeking automotive services elsewhere to avoid potential scams and ensure your vehicle receives honest care.

From chicago going on a road trip to Detroit Canada Cleveland thks to them my road trip was completed had car trouble fix my subaru forester thank you thank you. You guys where friendly and great people. Thks to the Detroit team mechanic. My car got us threw are mini vacation thank you again young man in office and his mechanic. You need to keep your employee by the name of Mo, the most honest, straight forward and direct front desk associate I meant in any auto. He broke down what exactly what was wrong with my vehicle to the T, excellent service and beyond a fair person when he sees a costumer is about to pay a heavy price, he'll work with you, and the other mechanics are nice and does a perfect job fixing job fixing your vehicle. 👍👍👍

Mo and his guys at this place literally turn a stressful car issue into one that seems routine and easy to solve. I pulled up here on a flat tire within 20-30 mins of them closing, they had my specific used tires in stock, and put them on in no-time while having a great conversation during the whole thing. Pricing, hospitality, and being treated like a long-time friend here made it an awesome first time experience. I recommend this spot to anyone who wants to leave an auto shop with their car taken care of, as well as being put into a good mood on the way out. I will be coming back here soon for my brakes and other scheduled maintenance.

Took my car in to get it assessed after getting an engine code for a faulty transmission input speed sensor - after the replaced the sensor and I got my car back it was still hard shifting and the check engine light was still on. Took it back as it was under warranty and was called saying I now needed an output sensor as my "only shot at saving the transmission." They even offered to replace the output for free for an improper diagnosis the first time. The whole thing felt sketchy so I picked my car up. Sure enough, no diagnostic of a faulty output. Took my car to Mack Garage and they let me know the input sensor North End had put in was damaged and probably had been dropped. Overall I felt so uncomfortable with the whole experience. Only good thing I can say is they gave me my money back for the input. Glad I trusted my gut on this one.

Needed a flat tire assessed this morning - the guys at North End Auto were efficient, friendly & super helpful. I ended up just needing it patched and they had me out of there in 15mins tops and the price was super affordable. I would definitely recommend them!
