I wish I could rate this higher than a 5. We made our trek into Indy and had a car accident driving through. Made it (barely) to the hotel but car drove horribly. Called first thing in the morning and spoke with Julie who got us right in to take a look at the damage, make a plan and get going on it. Just as we were coming to terms having to delay our trip and missing my son’s engagement celebration tonight, Julie stepped right in even further To say Julie and the mechanics team at NorthEast were beyond amazing would be such an understatement. The car required from our perspective significant work to make it safe to drive home.the team got it done same day and delivered to an alignment shop to get that done. We are currently driving home and projected to arrive in perfect time. This team is thorough. Julie and team were very communicative and made a point to meet and exceed expectations for us from the starts. It needs to be praised from the rooftops on their professionalism and their commitment to their customers! I’m so grateful to this shop! As a swiftie visitor in Indy for the first time, this entire situation and the caring levels by this great team was nothing short of miraculous! I will shout it from the rooftops every day that this is the team I would want working on my cars if I lived in Indy for sure! Thank you again for taking such amazing care of us!

Heard about Northeast from a friend who is a gearhead who trusts them with his personal cars. Emailed request for cash quote for timing belt and water pump service. Received quote within 24 hrs, price was very reasonable (given the amount of labor this job takes), and was scheduled the following week. They knocked it out in one day. Very impressed and appreciative! Will be back! UPDATE 9/2/2024 - Northeast continues to be exceptional. they just knocked out a very technically difficult AC compressor and condenser replacement to fix my 20 year old car's dead AC. Julie up front is an angel. fast quote, frequent contact with updates, super fast turn around time, and incredibly reasonable pricing. thanks to whole team!

If you're in the Indy area and you need any repairs to your vehicle, you must take it to Northeast Auto! I took my vehicle there for some major repairs a few months ago, and just last week I had some issues with my vehicle that turned out to be caused by an error made by a mechanic at Northeast Auto. I was far away from Indy and had to rent a car while my vehicle was being serviced in Pennsylvania. When I finally got back to Indy I took the repair invoice and the parts in to Northeast Auto, and the wonderful customer service rep (Julie) took all of my information and gave me the owner's email address to send all of my documentation. Right away I heard back from the owner (Earl), and he apologized for the mistake, asked what I thought was a reasonable offer to make it right, and within a day he authorized a check to cover the parts and labor for the repair, and he also reimbursed me for the cost of the rental car I needed while my vehicle was in the shop in PA for six days. I can't express how grateful I am to Earl, Julie, and everyone at Northeast Auto for their care, concern, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service above and beyond what anyone expects these days. They immediately acknowledged that one of their mechanics made a mistake (which happens!), and they made it right. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else - Northeast Auto has my business for life!

Northeast Auto has been my go to spot for years now. Its in a convenient location and open early for car drop off. They do great work and are professional and honest. I've referred several of my friends who have also had great experiences dealing with Northeast Auto. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and work in record time to get the work done and your vehicle back to you. Julie at the front desk is extremely helpful in keeping you updated as to what needs to be done and what options you have in regards to repairs. I recommend this shop above all others in the Indianapolis area.

Note for new customers: they have limited space for cars as they can't keep them in the lot overnight- best to call ahead to check if they can get you in! This was my first time here- I was recommended by a friend. The service was quick and reasonably priced, and Julie (Julia?) Was great to chat with while I waited. While I hope I don't have anymore car troubles, I'd look forward to coming here if I did. Thanks for all your help!

I brought my Chevy Silverado in to have all leaks checked The lady at the front desk, said that they may have it for a day or two, but once it got in, they were able to get right in and diagnose it in a timely manner end up being just my oil pan gasket and I was done by 5:30 that day I would refer the shop to anyone. I am new to the shop and area I didn’t even know it was here until someone told me about it. I checked out the reviews and figured I’d give them a shot. I’m very pleased with the customer service and the service from the mechanics, I will definitely be back for more service.

I have been taking my car to Northeast Auto for nearly 2 years now. I was referred by my insurance company and now use them exclusively. I’ve had nothing but professional treatment from all but the front desk manager (Julie) is amazing. She goes above and beyond for her customers, ensured I stayed informed on all my repairs. I even purchased a vehicle from a local used car lot, and had their mechanic look the vehicle over. He identified multiple issues that I decided to return the vehicle to the dealership to return the vehicle. I was able to make an informed decision about my vehicles. Great job by all. I will 100% be returning to this auto shop.

I have brought several cars here and will continue to do so for years to come. The customer service is always great. The jobs are always done well, whether it’s a simple job like tune ups and brake jobs to tracking down and correcting much larger problems. The techs go above and beyond and most importantly, I’m never worried about them trying to sell me on jobs that do not need to be done to begin with, which is something I often worried about with other automotive services. There will never be another shop for me! 5 stars across the board!

I have gone to this shop for anything car related including oil changes, AC work, and tune ups. All the work was done quickly and Julie explained everything to me so I understood what was going on. They always have great prices and even better work! Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get their car looked at or worked on.

Top notch auto service. I’ve been taking my trucks to Northeast for about 8 years. They’re highly professional, timely and communicate well. Julie at the front desk always keeps me updated on exactly whats going on with my vehicle. Never any run arounds, no overcharging, and no questionable service like i’ve encountered elsewhere. A couple months ago the intake on my truck blew out. I was looking at a substantial repair cost. The shop went above and beyond to get the costs to more manageable level and gave me the option of breaking the bill into separate payments. I live on the west side of town but still take my truck to Northeast for repairs because I know I can trust them. Highly recommended .

Very impressed with this facility,, the staff was beyond polite, the job was done in a timely manner, had no way to pick the car up since I live very close they came and got me, I expected a huge bill on my transmission and was shocked at the very low price, I recommend this place for fair and quick treatment.

I can’t say enough positive things about Northeast Auto. We have taken my brothers car here about 4 times over the past two years for different things and each time they have provided not only the best customer service but they really care about the work they are doing and care to make sure work is done in a timely manner. They are affordable and have been extremely convenient for our needs. Julie is an absolute gem of a woman and all that they do is very much appreciated! We won’t take our cars anywhere else!!

Highly recommend!! Very reputable and great customer service. Julie took great care of me. I had to return for a second repair shortly after having my water pump replaced. It might have been a coincidence that the car needed two repairs in 1 week, but they covered the second repair for me free of charge. I couldn't be happier with the service, and my car runs great.

I am appalled after reading a negative comment about this company. I have been taking my vehicles to this company for the past 10 years and they have done an excellent job servicing and repairing my cars and the staff is wonderful and the owner is such a nice man. I don’t know why anybody would report a negative comment about this company because I won’t take my car anywhere else but here at Northeast Auto. I can guarantee you that you want to be taken your car here because they are honest and trustworthy.

I took my vehicle in to have a diagnostic check and the ENTIRE staff especially Ms. Julie were very polite and helpful not to mention that I noticed that the mechanic shop was very clean inside! I would highly recommend to anyone and if I ever have any issues again I will definitely be going back!!!!! They are fair and HONEST when it comes to their work/prices!!! Thank you!

My car died and had it towed after hours. I had a referral to try this company. The tow truck driver apparently left the car in front of the bay doors. The woman in the office felt the need to call and scream at me, as if I had deliberately told the tow truck driver to park the car in the most inconvenient spot. It was unprofessional, incredibly rude, abusive, and insulting. I don’t recommend this company, as customer service is not their strength. Business response: Sorry Sara for the miscommunication. We feel we didn’t get abusive at all, but we did stress the urgency that we needed the keys to your car asap so that we could open up that bay. It was closed for 6 hours. As you can see with our other reviews, we take pride in our customer service so it’s unfortunate to see your review. Sara’s response: This is all a lie. I was called @ 8:07am 10/14/23. The car was towed and off the property by 9:25am the same day. The keys were placed inside of your drop box the night before. This fact was acknowledged by your nasty lady on the phone at 8:07. The fact you deliberately have chosen to misrepresent the facts even in your response shows everyone that your are not a company to be trusted. NO ONE DESERVES TO BE VERBALLY ABUSED AND LIED TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I have the text and call logs to prove your lies. The only thing I don’t have is an audio recording, which I wish I had.
